He hasn’t changed score yet. I have been playing this afternoon and keeping an eye on him. Stopped playing now as no one else is on the board so he may try his luck.

Just noticed I got a message from Rovio. But they didn’t answer my question on what happens when a cheater is given a zero score, can they play the next week?

Also they were talking about 1 cheater, not the fact I had got several.

Sorry to hear that you have run into possible cheaters in Epic. We made some good progress with the cheating issue especially during fall 2015 and spring 2016, and the number of cheaters has decreased significantly compared to last year. Of course, that doesn’t help much if there is now a cheater who takes over your leaderboard or battles in a team against you – there are unfortunately still some cheaters who can circumvent our anti-cheat methods. However, we work on the situation continuously. Just with the latest update, we added some new cheat blocks to help us with this.

I assure you, we are doing our best to make the game fair for everyone. We sincerely apologize for the negative effect these dishonest players are having on your gaming experience; we understand very well that they take the fun out of the game very quickly.

That line from Rovio is wearing thin? I still don’t understand how they can’t at least track cheaters that have been cheating with the same name for months.

I totally agree. It’s very frustrating to keep hearing the same thing.

MFS posted a tiny increase at about 10 minutes ago and appears to have stopped for the moment.

I don’t know what the small increase MFS posted when you looked Suzy but I have screenshots proving(not quite)he put up over 6000 grinding points in an hour from 6hrs17mins left in the day to 5hrs16mins which is nigh impossible from my experience. If either of you have have any screenshots between those times I think we should report. I will try to post the screenshots here. Again no big board so no real proof but if we wait until the weekend they will do nothing(chances are they do nothing anyway)

I know the evidence isn’t conclusive but these were the screenshots corresponding with the time the scores went up, I also have screenshots which show the 7000 point increase to show daily objectives must have been completed already.

When I posted about the small amount his score was 40050, then 40310 then about 15 minutes later it really jumped.

When I wrote to Rovio it took them over a week to send me the reply I posted above:(

Hmmm….that’s too bad they show up when I look on the thread and I did upload and save it under public on my album page. Yeah, I know all about the delayed response thing I might try to send them a ticket and write in caps 911EMERGENCYARENA911 but I doubt that will do any good either or @roviobeni could actually respond and tell us why they can’t respond to these complaints in a more timely manner.

Do you know what time MFS score starting going up?

Just cross referenced your post and best guess is MFS put up 5000 points in under half an hour so definite shenanigans. Also I am going to start tagging @roviobeni in every post(not even sure they are still around) because it is a joke that someone could cheat with such a name. Rovio should be embarrassed because we all know children play this game as well. Anything to say @roviobeni?

My guess on why the name is allowed is this:

The actual word “f**k” might not be allowed to be typed in since the game can recognise that. However, the ‘c’ does not look like it’s written in the Angry Birds Font. This happens if you use a custom font, but the font does not have an equivalent for the letter you just typed.

If this is true then I think that any forbidden words can be avoided with similar-looking characters, and such special letters can be used to bypass any simple bad word filter…

All that Rovio can do is to forbid any letters that can’t be typed on a normal iOS, Android, Windows, or Kindle device.

Yeah it’s easy so that even a technologically impaired person such as myself could do it as I did when I got into it with a Russian player.

I now have a Russian alphabet keyboard in my phone and could do the same thing if I wanted to?

Yeah I’ve been getting him a lot in the arena lately as well. I did send in that profile as well to show Rovio how pathetic it is to have two of them in a “kid’s” game

@shapokomanbeast @suzyq sorry to have not responded. Been very busy and out of wifi for most of the day. I can’t add much. He had just over 32k last evening at 2300 uk time. This morning 0830 he had just over 39k same at 1200. At 1700 he had just over 45k and still has at 2300. So in 24 hours he has added 13k not conclusive and I didn’t catch any jumps. I have a bit more time tomorrow but then I have none for two days. Sorry.

This week, no cheaters – yet… But interestingly, the past three weeks have started with just 8 on my leaderboard and after a couple days it jumps to 15, with very high scorers all of a sudden. Not sure why…

MFS just posted another 5000 points in 6 minutes and then added another 1000 in “real” points.

The thing that kills me is that he probably thinks he’s being so sneaky and clever and really he’s one of the world’s biggest idiots?
