    @seaspray I am playing this game for 4 years now It’s given to say that people who have long playing the game can have those stats. It’s seems unfair for you if you are a beginner to play and compete against users like me but that is a problem that only the game developers can change. And if you have any grievance against me send me a pm.

    @asen
    nice one mine was only a damn accessories no tokens or sparks either,,

    @droversdog

    I bought Nova Star with 2,000 gems and used 7,500 tokens for Gold crates. My 10 crates had 5 of each Rare & Epic. 420 tokens in one and the rest accessory upgrades.
    With 1.5 hours to go I have just accrued another 9,000 gems and overpowered Nautica from lvl 16 to 17 which leaves me 134 tokens. Currently running 3rd but likely to be overtaken as I am not spending any more gems so will have enough for spark capsule. So all in all another good event only spending 70 gems on recharges plus those for the TF.

    Not at all Dark Knight.  I think you rock.  You obviously deserve what you’ve worked for for 4 years now.  But the developers probably read some of this, so it’s a good place to throw out grievances and ideas to improve the game.  Like Terrance as Omega Supreme!!

    Very successful event for me. I used 5,000 gems to get 100,000 sparks (and a new TF). I managed to collect some 17,000 tokens which I used to overpower Nautica to level 16, to get some spark canisters, and to open 10 Gold crates. This time I was lucky with the crates — sparks, gems and a useful overpower!

    As I pointed out in the previous post, you don’t play against level 931 (or in my case 980) planet eaters.  Rovio groups competitions by level.  So the people you are playing against are in the same spark boat as you, it just comes down to the strategy of how they spend their sparks. There “literally” is a way for you to get sparks… buy them!

    If you don’t see the strategy to spending sparks, then I don’t know what to tell you.  They are a finite resource.  Do you spend them now or save them for the next event? Keep your multiplier lower and supplement with gem recharges?  Spread them out over all bots, or put all your sparks on one bot?

    People don’t like to lose, so even when I’ve got a ridiculous multiplier, some idiot is always wasting gems trying to catch me.  That’s good for business.

    seaspray
    @seaspray

    Some idiot is always…”.  That’s exactly my point.  Status quo is about the top 5 recharging for 1st, sometimes 3rd.  As someone said earlier in the thread, after 70 gems, your risk/reward ratio makes another recharge for 100 tokens not worth it, because you could win the tokens in SS for 3 pigs, plus a few gems, sparks, accessories.  So the chase is only on for those with a shot at first.  If you grouped by promotion instead of rank, you essentially lower the point spread through the 20 players.  Then all 20 have a shot at first down to the wire.  It wouldn’t be just some idiot trying to catch you, it’d be all 19, and yourself spending gems to defend your position.  That’s how you’d maximize gem expenditure in an event.  If I were Rovio…

    seaspray
    @seaspray

    As far as buying sparks… I’m level 271.  I have one offer, 6500 sparks for $9.99.  It’d cost me over $120.00 to get to ruby level.  Dark Knight posted a pic of the 5000 gem bundle, came with 110,000 sparks.  That bundle isn’t offered to me or my 7 year old (level 170), else we’d spend $50.00 on 5000 gems and get the sparks that way.  So like I said, it’s not possible for us.  Which begs the question, if we’re really grouped by rank, how does my level 170 kid have a ruby crowned novastar on day 3 in his leaderboard?  That player would only have had access to the 1000 gem bundle with 10,000 sparks, same as me.  It costs well over 80,000 sparks to get from zero to ruby.  That’s why I’m of the opinion that we’re either not grouped by rank, or playing bots.  Do you have any evidence that we are rank grouped, or just hearsay?  This is an example of how Rovio’s game design prevented me from spending $50.00, so it’s not out of the question that they haven’t fully thought it through about how to maximize incentive for people to spend money.

    if you collect your dayly sparks from spark run and dayly challanges you get 500+ a day. after 100 days that is 50k+ free. 80k if you make 800 a day. plus you can get about 2.5k per week from the bot events if you dont want or need more characters (or even more from gold crates from same event if lucky)

    lets say you make 800 a day and buy sparks from events with red coins. that is about 8000 sparks a week or 114.3k per 100 days. or 416k per year free. more if you get sparks from gold chests. if it costs 100k sparks then that means even without the luck of gold crates you can make 4 ruby lv bots per year if you just focus on sparks for event.

    this event i got elita one and had just enough leftover red coins to buy the 750 sparks.

    personally after i get a member of each squad to 30%(+120% on their squad event) i will take the most useful bot i have as high as i can

    so no you dont need to spend $120 on sparks for a ruby crown. just very active and choose every reward that gives sparks

    I am glad my seld i didn’t spend more than 60 gems all together in this event. I wasn’t also trying to catch 1st place. Only to enjoy my self than to sick over 1st place :)

    I’m done, does someone else want to take a shot at this?

    seaspray
    @seaspray

    Pandaczar12, just a discussion bro.  No need to get frustrated, I’m not your adversary.  You’re a planet-eater.  Been playing for years.  Ever been in a leaderboard that ended with less than 20 players?  Or is the sum of all players always a multiple of 20?  There’s only a 1/19 chance of that happening on any given day in your zone.  That’s the first reason I believe we’re playing bots and not real people.  I’m taking periodic screenshots of today’s challenge (day 4 – missiles – flight of the bumblebee) and hope to post soon.  First in my board is a 3star gold hound.  He would have had to base score (before promotion bonus) at least 1,416.6 per run in the first 5 runs, with an immediate recharge.  I’m running a level 10 prime, exp rounds, 14% damage and 13% fire rate, at 60% bonus and only averaged 629.6/run base (before promotion).  And I shot down every missile and cleared the board except a few dozen stone blocks.  I’m calling bs, we’re playing bots.

    If you don’t care, don’t respond.  Won’t hurt my feelings man.  Anyway, good luck today.

    Sounds about right. I use Grey Slam Grimlock on missile day and that is close to what I usually average pre bonus. Like Hound he is very slow and his beam weapon can take out missiles immediately. The quicker missiles are destroyed and the longer the silos are in the screen the more missiles there are to shoot.

    GrimLockdown
    @grimlockdown

    With Hound I get 9 missiles from any one silo and with a faster TF probably only 6 or even fewer if the TF can’t destroy missile near the silo.

    Nine missiles per silo doesn’t apply in Pig City.

    seaspray
    @seaspray

    A fair point.  I don’t have Hound, so I can’t say.  But I do use Grey Slam frequently on missile day (though not yesterday), and I’ve never had a base score that high unless Unicron shows up.  Much less an average base score over 5 runs.  Actually, I’ve never had an average base score that high on block day using Nautica or Soundwave (Both clear the board).  Maybe the higher you’re ranked, the more “available” points are on the board?  In that case, it might be feasible for you planet eaters to score that high.  But we’re grouped by rank right?  So this Hound averaged 52 missiles/run more than me, all else equal?  I find it hard to believe that Prime outruns 52 missiles a run.  But, thanks for your input.  I’m gonna count missiles next week.

    @seaspray

    FYI — Today (day 5 – balloon pig – flight of the bumblebee), I’ve decided to forego the multiplier and use my level 11 Nautica, emp, 10% damage, 45% bonus (3 silver chevrons), because she clears everything.  I’m interested in “available points” on the board, and will assume the leader (Dead End, silver crown – 70% bonus) can also clear the board.  After 7 runs each, he’s averaged 999.5 base points/run.  I’ve averaged 650.2.  So he’s gotten 53.7% more available points than me.  Hopefully, this discrepancy will average out by the end of the challenge.

    seaspray
    @seaspray

    I’m becoming convinced.  Today (day 6 – flying pigs – flight of the bumblebee), 10 minutes in from the open, no one could have played more than 4 runs, leader is 2 star bronze Nautica, base score average 1050.2/run assuming 4 runs.  She just played a 5th.  My base score average with my Nautica described above, 460/run, and I cleared the board on every run.   Somethings up.  She just played a 6th.  That’s 6 runs in 16 minutes.  2.6 minutes/run averaging 1050.2, so they’re not “short runs”.  She just played a 7th, 17.5 minutes in.  Scratch that, 6.  I just checked the screen shots and she wasn’t on the board after my first run.  9579/6 = 1596.5/1.25 = 1277.2 base points/run.  Unbelievable.  177% more available points on the board than my runs.  That’s not a real player, that’s a bot my friend.

    Drover’s Dog
    @droversdog

    @seaspray should this post not be in Flight of the Bumblebee thread?
    However, what if the other player has had a Unicron run gaining 2,000 plus points in just one run or 2 consecutive Boss Pig runs getting 1,000+ for each like I did on day 5

    seaspray
    @seaspray

    @droversdog

    I kept it here because this is where it started, when my 7 year old, level 171, had a ruby crowned Novastar on day 3 dominating his leaderboard.  Possible I suppose, but if we’re grouped by rank, highly unlikely.  This topic seems to be touchy too, I think I pissed off Pandaczar.  I don’t want to agitate, and I want to get some data together before I create a unique topic.

    This Nautica today had a high run of 2272 base points (before promotion bonus) on 1 run, and a low of 668.  My high was 545 for 1 run.  I thought about the Unicron and BP possibility.  Only one problem, Nautica can’t kill either.  At least my level 11 is a long, long, long ways from being able to.

    seaspray
    @seaspray

    6 hours into day 6, played 10 runs.  Base average 533.2/run, cleared everything on the board, including cactus, peyote, wagons, barrels, pumpkins, etc.  Still 1842 under the Nautica, who has fallen to 6th because despite playing 6 runs in the first 17 minutes, she decided not to play again and waste half her recharge.  Not the kind of behavior you’d expect from a rational human with skin in the game, but maybe 7:30’s her bedtime.  Who knows.

    GrimLockdown
    @grimlockdown

    Today my three first runs were Boss Pig runs. I averaged about 1,400 points before promotion. I’m sure somebody thought I was a bot as nobody can gather that many points in such a short time. @seaspray

    seaspray
    @seaspray

    Interesting.  Were you playing with Nautica?  I’ve played 17 runs and haven’t gotten boss pig today.  Boss pig’s worth 400.  So you’re killing him and getting 1000 extra points off blocks, missiles and flying pigs, which in and of itself is almost double what’s available on my board.  The only time I’ve ever cleared 1000 base on boss pig is on missile day and holding off on killing him until after astrotrain flies by.  I’m not calling you a liar, don’t get me wrong.  Maybe it is the case that the higher you’re ranked, the more available points you have.  If that’s the case, it seems we’re not grouped by rank.

    GrimLockdown
    @grimlockdown

    Ratchet. His pace is slow but weapon is fast so Boss Pig gets to shoot many missiles at Ratchet. Boss Pig’s missiles are always 15 points and today also the flying pigs are 15 points.

    seaspray
    @seaspray

    I’m using this down day to analyze my screenshots.

    Day 4 – missiles – Flight of the Bumblebee

    I’m not gonna crunch too many numbers on this day, because I didn’t take enough screenshots to approximate the number of runs other players made.  But I’m gonna point out what I consider to be anomalies indicative of random programming and not human action.

    1.  There were 26 unique players (with different names) on the board this day, including myself.

    2.  A player named DER has 5,309 points 2 hours and 15 minutes in (2:15 going forward) with a silver 1 star (s1s going forward) BB.  At 4:00 he’s got 7,591 with a s1s Ratchet.  At 5:40, 100 minutes later, he’s up to 17,599 with a s1s Heatwave, because HW rules at missiles.  That’s 10,000 points in an hour and a half with HW on missile day!  I’m at 7,451 total points at this point, 7 runs with a b4b OP described in the “Hound” post above.  At 15:30, he’s got 22,698 and back to BB.  Finishes 9th, 27,099, with his s1s OP.

    3.  The g3s Hound referenced above is named Sarge.  At 0:22 he’s got 14,166, at 0:50 20,374.  I don’t know how many runs he made in the first 50 minutes, but those are incredible numbers for only 4 runs.  I personally don’t buy recharges in the first hour, maybe some people do.  He finishes 1st.

    4.  The player who ended 2nd was Ahmedakj.  At 0:22 he’s at 4,489 with a b3b BB.  Then he realizes that he forgot that he had a g2b OP (300% bonus) and racks up 11,657 by 0:50.  At 4:00 he’s at 15,379, but back to his BB (40% bonus).  Why would anyone play like this?  It makes no sense.
