They can cross the water multiple other places, but need a bridge to get to the new area… go figure!

I just unlocked the new area.

It looks like we can now have seven transformed nodes on the map, not the six we used to have.

Still only three EggBots, though.

Weird, now I’m back down to six active nodes.  And it’s been that way ever since I played the first new node in the new zone.

Also, I did an underground run that didn’t have a single one of those Bat Pigs.  After three of the new runs, I’ve only got 12 Bat Pigs.

Unlocking Nautica is going to take a loooong time.

@optimuspig Watch out for Boss BatPig. The highest I got from a Boss BatPig run is 63 (without bonus).

Hmmm, just completed another run with zero Batpigs.  Zilch.  Nada.

Also, a lot of targets are unhittable.  There are targets in the far background and there are targets in the foreground.

@optimuspig Same with Boss Pig. Accompanied with Bat Pigs and fires Bat Pig missiles that blocks the screen with black sludge.

Is it possible to double the batpigs watching ads? I hope so!

I wish they would allow us to choose bots when entering in this area. I know that we can switch using one gem, but I would like something not at random.

Come on rovio. 7 runs in this stupid cave system have yielded 14 batpigs. 3 runs with none. Batpigs suggests Halloween but which one? Next years at a push at this rate, and no sign yet of any boss batpig. Just calling it tedious is being generous

Yesterday night i unlocked the new area at last! Now after spending 70 gems at instant play the cave missions i have now 566/750 bats collected. Anyway i spend 70 gems like idiot? I hope that i will manage to obtain the rest 184 bats.

I’m still only up to 308 Bat Pigs.

Finally came across Boss Bat Pig.

Barely managed to kill him using Optimus Prime.

Scored 46 Bat Pigs on that run, then doubled.

I spend another 20 more gems total 90 and i unlocked regular Nautica. I am updating her as we speak i am at level 3 now and i will go all the way using gems to speed up her upgrading time. But i am really impressed there is no doubt the is far better than Windblades (Both).

You can use the same method as the visit x area y times to quickly unlock Nautica. Had a run with about 16 or so bat pigs at the beginning. Just reran the beginning a bunch of times and then doubled the finished run.

@pppuffs There used to be a daily quest that was “visit the beach 5 times” or another area and number of times. All you had to do was start the node and exit to the map for it to count as a visit. This is similar. Any pigs killed are counted and not reset when exiting to the map.

@optimuspig You did finish the node, correct? Pigs only add to your collection after the node’s finished.

No, I exit the node before flying away on Astrotrain.

It works for other pigs and objects.

I’m not really in a huge rush to unlock Nautica.

I’m already occupied with upgrading E. Nautica.  Would be too difficult to keep enough materials in stock for both.

I still need 40 plasma to open new area. Last day with 400 for day 5 and all from crates and reword I collect 9940 and need 60 more to open area. Tonight I should get from daily awards. Then I will start to collect bats for Nautica. Probably will get E. Nautica from the event.
