@datguygamer It has taken me since the game’s launch to save them all… I have only ever spent about 200, I think.

@datguygamer I have probably spent a couple of hundred here and there, since launch. But, no, that’s all I’ve managed to save! :-/ My biggest spend was on 2x lots of discounted enchantment shards… which I regret. Lol!

About spending LC on rehiring friend’s bird. I only once hired mercenary for 15LC on second page of my friends list. It hurt. I wish Rovio introduced cancel timer like there is in Dungeon Keeper Mobile (which I play also). If you’re paying for something with rare currency you have always few seconds to cancel your decision. That’s great feature!

It could be timer or tap againg to confirm (I think second one is easier to implement).

@smwforever45 Here’s the thing, unless done by mistake, why would you tap on the hire option in the first place, especially since it costs 15 LCs?

So rather than a timer, they should implement a warning message:

“Do you really want to hire Mighty Eagle’s Mercenary for 15 Lucky Coins?” “Yes’ or “No”.

I think that would suffice. Thanks for the link btw.

Possibly if I was a new player and am badly stuck at a certain level? That’s the time where most use the Mercenary. (I know I did once or twice.)

@smwforever45 Yeah, but you actively tap it then there’s no point in saying “it hurts” when you are doing it on your own terms. Still, I believe a message is fine enough. It will make the players think twice.

The game can’t know whether I tap the button on purpose or by accident. It just registers “user tapped on this certain spot of the screen”.

Yeah, a message would definitely be enough.

@smwforever45 That’s not for the game to decide but the user who tapped in that button voluntarily. If he wants to hire a mercenary from ME, then he is prepared to waste 15 coins. Getting hurt after that is of no point basically. If that’s by accident, then I can understand and that’s where the message comes in but doing it on purpose and then fretting over it is pointless.
