@briannSee Wazza wasn’t on MOTD but I’m sure it’s just a matter of rotation.Or is it?
“Sacked in the morning, you’re getting sacked in the morning…”

@briannMy son moved into his teenage years in Feb so getting used to an extra quotient of cheek.Lately whenever I ask him a question he says “I dunno Jeff.”
Obviously trending with his mates. So I asked if he knew where it came from and of course he said “I dunno Jeff”.So I played him this:https://youtu.be/McdjBaChdBA?si=DZlct07wRp5R6HPj

@briannTo be fair to Jonny Bairstow I think he has been sharing the pies, with Samit Patel.
Desperate Dan
@desperate-danNo, I think YJB is red in the face with anger that Patel ate the lot.
Brian N
@briannTo be fair he is built like a brick bungalow. If Sontarans played cricket it’d look like that.
You know I like an anagram so Samit Patel provided :
malt pastie
pitta meals
lam patties
meat pastil (desert obviously)
All served with Tamil paste.
For fans of The Simpsons there is Patti Selma
For fans of Baywatch there are Pamela Tits (Liam Neeson’s current squeeze(although I wouldn’t squeeze them too hard mate)).

@briannCarbonite Melt being very mean,it’s almost as if the game knows which characters I need and is witholding them.Surely Rovio wouldn’t do that?I even had a Hans Solo Carbonite…in the Melt…how is that even possible?
To more important matters hope all is well @honeybunny must be your operation soon.At least you know what to expect and hope Mr Bunny has been working his calf muscles ready for that wheelchair pushing(mainly to the pub).
Brian N
@briannIt seems Mr Bunny is already in training…https://youtu.be/dbc_CxwRTG0?si=_B-bvEt67dBYq98x

@briannWell my luvvies seems my Carbonite Meltdown yesterday did the the trick(more like a mild whinge than a Medvedev).Stormtrooper appeared this morning and given I only needed 3,000 pts even I couldn’t flub that one.
Desperate Dan
@desperate-danWelsh Fire threw away winning positions in their last two matches, finishing with a 3-13 record. I threw away a winning position in Danger Above 7-2. We are soulmates.
As for Carbonite Melt, I think that was a culinary disaster on MasterChef.
Desperate Dan
@desperate-danSamit Patel is possibly the best source of anagrams of all time. Samit Patel is also an an anagram of his real name, Liam Tapets.

@briannHad my first eye test in over 5 years yesterday and not because I’d noticed a deterioration in my vision but had sat on my glasses one too many times.Surprised to find my distance vision had improved?!Hooray! But now I need reading glasses.Boo!Also have to pay for two subscriptions now!GGGaaaaahhhhh!!!!
As I went in I noticed a pal inside who was deep in conversation so I said hi and I kid you not he said “Sorry I didn’t see you there.”
I said: ” Well you’re in the right place.”

@briannAccidently swallowed some scrabble tiles.Suffering some awful vowel movements.

@briannPity about the Eliminator tonight.Hardly a Hundred game ruined by the weather and now this.Hope the final goes ahead as I think it’s a tournament that has improved year on year.Deserves a fitting finale.
I do like it’s quirkiness so I hope the new investors don’t try to homogenise it into just another T20 tournament.
Brian N
@briannRumours of Donalds death are quite worrying.Vance is Veep.
Desperate Dan
@desperate-danAgree, The Hundred is good fun. Watching the finals now. Anything but women’s rugby. Seems like a farcical format although there has been now been one close match out of about 12,
Brian N
@briannSadly symptomatic of World cups these days .Football WC also becoming bloated with 48 teams next year and I believe 64 is a number being talked about for 2030.Just results in yet more meaningless one sided matchups and overall quality suffers.Best WC ever was 1970 where 16 teams qualified but every game seemed to matter.
Desperate Dan
@desperate-danHere is Miss September, signifying the first day of meteorological autumn. Of course it is called autumn. How else could things be autumnal?

Desperate Dan
@desperate-danHow strange that in the last few days the Challenge has featured three levels for which Kathy was the trophy holder. Out of respect it ought to be customary not to compete for such an award but I guess not everyone got the memo. Actually, I don’t even know what a memo would look like these days, so it is hardly surprising. Anyway, I think she has managed to hold off all assailants so far.
Brian N
@briannSeems to spend a lot of time sleeping @desperate-dan.A two seater all to herself?Spoilt rotten.
Brian N
@briannWatching Ravi Bopara turning back the years.Has he played a better innings? One of only a handful of players still playing in The Blast who was there at the start. One of the others is of course our mate Samit Patel.
Carbonite Melt News
There is no CMN except to say Jar Jar Bloody Binks…again…
Desperate Dan
@desperate-danJust looked down that Surrey side and compared to the Northants lineup. There is just no way Northants could have won it from 1-2. And they did. Cricket bloody cricket, eh?
A bravo pair?
Desperate Dan
@desperate-danWe have a Piggy Farm Challenge. But it’s on one of those days when I can’t get into Angry Birds. On the plus side I have finally made it up to Jurassic Pork and started on level 35-1 yesterday. Added 2000 and up from 8th to 4th. Do I stick or do I twist?
Brian N
@briannThis may sound silly but if you can’t get into AB how are you playing JP?
Desperate Dan
@desperate-danCome on man, concentrate. The word yesterday is doing the heavy lifting here!
Brian N
@briannI would stick if I were you.I had a wee lookie and mastered the first shot with Stella.Chuck was more difficult.
Have you tried V.7.9.1. ?
