    Oh hey, been a while, glad you could find what you wanted! Can definitely vouch though that yes, the Discord community for Angry Birds is extremely, and I mean EXTREMELY knowledgeable on the franchise, not just due to having the insight on how the majority of the games function down to their code, but also having access to a plethora of previously unreleased and beta content that the franchise had at one point, but never saw the official light of day! Because of that, not only does the community know the vast majority of how Rovio had operated at the time of 2009-2015 or so, but also internal knowledge on how to fix and re-operate a bunch of scraps that Rovio has left behind, such as making Angry Birds Fight! completely playable once again, as well as re-enabling the previously shut-down servers for Epic and classic GO! (before the 2.0 update), among other very awesome quirks that got removed. It’s really impressive and awesome stuff honestly, and even though far from everything is handled by now, I’m sure that with time that won’t be the case anymore! :)

    Hey @bikeborb1 I’m intrigued. What’s the Discord server/channel?

    Bikeborb1
    @bikeborb1

    Ah, glad you’ve asked! There’s tens upon tens of Angry Birds Discord servers that are out there, however by far one of the largest ones for this sort of topic, as well as the one where I think you’ll probably be able to get the most answers in, is the Angry Birds Modding Hub, clocking in at an impressive 16000-ish members in it! Do be warned however that, as is the case with the majority of the internet nowadays, the general tone of discussion around those parts is, again, on the more informal side (so very much not like here, I don’t even speak this formally normally either, but since it’s nice to help out with this sorta thing, I felt it’s quite nice for me to do it out of cordialness), however I’m definitely sure some things can be worked out if they’re asked nicely enough, and if the discussion does not heat up to overwhelming levels. Hope that whatever you’re seeking in there goes well my man! Hoping for nothing but the best for both this community and the modding community in terms of having a farther player base, after all.

    Hi @bikeborb1 since you’re still around I did find a Nokia based AB game called Free with Magic which has 20 levels most of them I don’t recognise.Is this different from the levels we’ve spoken about previously?

    Bikeborb1
    @bikeborb1

    Well, yeah. Yeah it is. Free with Magic DOES have some exclusive levels to it, but only the last 5 of them. The other 15 are from the old free versions of Classic from back in 2010-2011, around when Free with Magic itself released. For the actual Nokia version of the game that existed around the same time, I’d suggest looking for the stuff labeled under the “J2ME” name. I can’t promise the most, uh, high quality of content from that one unfortunately, but the option is always there if you’d like to see what that had, I suppose.

    Wow, I can’t believe @brianN’s sophistication might be deterring some people from the BP.

    Never mind your sauce @desperate-dan, these Discord boys know their stuff.Despite @bikeborb1 being very polite the language over there can get quite fruity which might bring @hunnybunny out of retirement.

    Brian N
    @briann

    I will check out the J2ME ref as I’m always interested in playing original levels I’ve never seen before.Do they include versions for pc emulator?

    Brian N
    @briann

    So it’s day one of a huge 5 test series.Chance to put down a marker.It’s a baking hot day.Your strength is your batting given Archer,Wood & Atkinson are unavailable.Their strength is their batting.You win the toss and decide to have a bowl…Why?…anyone?…?!?

    Desperate Dan
    @desperate-dan

    Gill said he would have bowled too.

    Anyway, I will take up the FIFA bashing theme happily @brianN. Matches played in totally unsuitable conditions, 40-41 degrees, two hour breaks for thunderstorms and…restricting water for spectators (who understandably just went home). You couldn’t make it up etc. etc.

    Come back next year for more of this. If they even let you into the country (or out again).

    Brian N
    @briann

    Yes I know and the head groundsman said he would have bowled.I think he might have got more out of the wicket than some of our duds.

    @briann

    So we have Bumrah and cARSE playing but Tongue’s asking why Arshdeep isn’t playing? Wot? Bad taste?Sounds like the setup to one of @hunnybunny’s rude jokes.

    @briann

    I did promise more from these chaps,here’s 8 mins worth. https://youtu.be/JHj0e_yH3Zg?si=CAEmnofsWmeIIWLI

    I see the UK has just replaced USA at the top of Putin’s most hated nations list.Good to know we’re doing something right.

    HunnyBunny
    @hunnybunny

    @BrianN sounds more like some demented gay fantasy of yours

    @hunnybunny

    Anyone else gone thru the log in nightmare?
    Enter this, enter that, pick out six trucks, three trucks, god only knows how many traffic lights to prove you are not a robot…
    Reckon the AI super thingys are certainly not trying to read our drivel

    Brian N
    @briann

    And she’s back.

    Speaking of demented gay fantasies did anyone hear Hegseth’s soliloquy in praise of his glorious emperor?Tongue and Arshdeep come to mind.

    Brian N
    @briann

    Havenay had the log in issues Bunny (mainly because I stay logged in) but adverts abound.

    Brian N
    @briann

    Did someone mention The Adverts? https://youtu.be/S3ggFF3pCno?si=R2r3Td5yRIwfNixO

    And back in the day I certainly had Gaye fantasies.Wonder what she looks like now?

    Desperate Dan
    @desperate-dan

    The Adverts were not just punk. I really like this one.

    Brian N
    @briann

    Staying on point I see The Damned are planning a gig next year at the Wembley Arena to celebrate their 50th anniversary.I know,we all thought they’d be dead by now never mind still gigging.Sadly Brian James is the only one of the original gang not to make it as he passed away earlier this year.Here’s a song he started writing when he was in a band called Bastard(Ah those were the days) and it became the first UK punk single ever released.https://youtu.be/TUxFQ5QBiYk?si=-Fj3BOnWYVm_aycO

    If someone asked me what punk was all about I’d say listen this.Two minutes of pure unadulterated punk energy with no artificial additives.

    Desperate Dan
    @desperate-dan

    Back to where it all started. At the time the main evening DJ on Capital Radio was “Little” Nicky Horne. In response to New Rose he gave a pompous and arrogant sermon about how awful it was and pledged that no punk music would ever be played on his show. 50 years on, which of the two are the national treasures? At some point much humble pie was presumably eaten, but by that time I, and a lot of his audience, had fled the nest.

    Brian N
    @briann

    Any bands from Glasto you ‘re looking forward to chaps?For me The 1975 on the main stage but most of the good stuff happens elsewhere St Vincent are on one the smaller stages and she is always a good listen(and watch).

    Some of the bands I’ll be checking out purely based on the names with Bob Vylan being one of them(people expecting a Dylan tribute will be incensed).Then there’s a group Brian James might have been in 50 years ago had he been dyslexic: Fcukers.

    Desperate Dan
    @desperate-dan

    St Vincent , yes.

    Neil Young, Wet Leg, Beth Gibbons, Roy Harper, Supergrass, Amyl and the Sniffers (why not?).

    Wild card?  Beans on Toast.

    Brian N
    @briann

    Why not indeed Amyl is an angry young woman .The Sniffers seem a little more laid back.Oh forgot to mention Wolf Alice.
