@briannForgot to say Bad Wales.
Desperate Dan
@desperate-danTwiggy had her tea in the end and she also had some French Beans in recognition of the eventual winners.
BTW, tried cheering for Wales but it didn’t work at all. Not because they were losing but because fundamentally, I’m just not Welsh.
Desperate Dan
@desperate-danWent for our walk today, in the hinterland between coast and mountains. Passed a very distinctive church that was in the middle of nowhere. Got home, turned on Countryfile and the very same church was featured having its roof slates replaced.
Brian N
@briannSure it wasn’t The Twilight Zone you were watching @desperate-dan?
Brian N
@briannSee a Bulgarian first division team held a minutes silence for a former player who died .He later got in touch via Facebook to say the club had been misinformed.No his name isn’t Lazarus.
Desperate Dan
@desperate-danSurely the twist is…he really was dead.
Desperate Dan
@desperate-danI am getting a tad suspicious. There are 699 ABo levels out of 2934 that could possibly end up in the Challenge, i.e. 23.8%
On that basis we might expect an ABo level to come up every 4-5 days.
The chance of not getting any ABo levels for almost 4 weeks is less than 1 in 1000.
The obvious conclusion is that Rohit Sharma* is choosing the levels.
*you may need to Google “Sharma unlucky coin tosser” (don’t leave out coin).

@briannAt weekends he likes to be called Moira Thrash.Very popular in the S & M scene.
Desperate Dan
@desperate-danNot popular on the ABo scene. Remains a terrible tosser. We must be up to close to a month now.
Desperate Dan
@desperate-danI guess this is what is required. Out of the incredible Stiff Records stable.
Desperate Dan
@desperate-danNah, didn’t work.
Brian N
@briannI was going to play Let it Go but couldn’t bring myself to do it.Instead here’s a brief clip of Birdleader and Dan having a sensible discussion about the Daily Challenge…https://youtu.be/5gvYDYoYi5M?si=RNI85KsS6nOEZlQH
Desperate Dan
@desperate-danRight, just for that I will have to unleash the full force of the great Boo Radleys onto you. This is just for starters.
HunnyBunny
@hunnybunnyAny news from @ixan57
Probably pissed at the bottom of the very steep Calpe hill…
HunnyBunny
@hunnybunnyWake up, Boo!
The mockingbird is waiting for Twiggy to bark
It’ll be hard, but it will try its best
Desperate Dan
@desperate-danFunny thing @hunnybunny, Atticus Finch was a very famous mountaineering mini-Schnauzer in the States, about 15 years ago. Twiggy has some of the same characteristics, for example stands and stares at views.
Desperate Dan
@desperate-danTime to chill out on a rainy Sunday morning.
Need to get your daily dose of flugelhorn.
to mock a mockingbird
@vuelvaif i had my own calendar, i would also stand and stare at the nr of views it was getting.
to mock a mockingbird
@vuelvamy guess would be that there’s a programming error in the code for randomly generating levels. as the meaning of code / programs is just mathematical, there’s typically no need for discussion.

@ixan57@HunnyBunny traveled to Denia by tram/train Friday 1hr then Calpe for 2hr so started at top of the hill (what a beautiful view). Could not find pub you mentioned but done OK. Then onto altea, OK but not my scene. It is unbelievable how cheap the prices are here and hospitality 100%. Back on Tuesday

@vuelvanow read a bit about atticus finch, the mini-schnautzer. wonderful (though downs are wonderful, i really miss hiking in the mountains here in the uk). already wondered how you had come to the idea to walk the equivalent of some appalachian trail (can’t remember the details).
HunnyBunny
@hunnybunny@vuelva jump on a train to Wales, loads of mountains here
