@briannDid you really invent ketchup crisps(chips)??I’m impressed.
Sidenote on Shipbuilding apparently Bowie was asked what he thought was the best song released in 82 and he referenced Wyatt’s version of Shipbuilding so you’re in good company @karen68.
As for the orange one @catsnbirds just as narcissus overreached himself and fell in a pool and drowned while looking at his reflection in the water so is the fate of all narcisists.They all overreach themselves,it’s in their nature.The trouble is the damage they do meantime.
karen68
@karen68@desperate-dan Terry Fox is a true Canadian hero. Very sad but look at all he accomplished. Every September schools & communities hold a Terry Fox run, which continues to raise so much money. There is a beautiful statue & memorial just outside Thunder Bay to mark the spot where he was forced to abandon his run.
@briann yes we can claim ketchup chips! Which I’ve heard you can’t get in the US? Maybe I’m wrong about that.
Brian N
@briannOnce again hurrah for Canada!Right up there in my top three crisp flavours along with pickled onion and Worcester sauce(guess we can claim that one).Pity they’re not available in the US ,you could put tariffs on them.
Yes we tackle the really serious stuff down here.
HunnyBunny
@hunnybunnyMight as well join in
Pilot, Strop, Troop
Desperate Dan
@desperate-danHa ha @hunnybunny, I always knew your middle name was strop.
And (pedant alert buzz buzz buzz), proper name is Worcestershire sauce. I worked for 10 years in Worcestershire and people can be very particular.
And, when Hereford and Worcester was created as a new county in 1974 from the two former counties, people were incensed. It was like forming a single football team from Arsenal and Tottenham. Just as well it was abolished in 1998.
Desperate Dan
@desperate-danI don’t do shite any more by the way.
People with the Wordle gene will understand this.
People without the Wordle gene, best just chill, the BP will be fine.
Desperate Dan
@desperate-danAlways found Blur a bit patchy, but with some tremendous high points. This is a deep cut from Parklife that I really like.
Brian N
@briannNo reptiles just soft boiled eggs in shirts and ties waiting for the flashing green man quivering and wobbling just like all the eggs you know
I haven’t got the hang of this Wordle thing have I?https://youtu.be/zbxp3qt9LEc?si=_Rjlmz3bFo5weY-o
Brian N
@briannYou must be very constipated Dan.
Desperate Dan
@desperate-danMust admit that’s an EE song I like. But the lads have been a bit messy with the ketchup and crisps.
Brian N
@briannHey Bunny I know with your love of haute cuisine you wouldn’t stoop so low as to eat crisps but if you did what flavour?
Desperate Dan
@desperate-danDon’t answer that @hunnybunny, it’s a trap.
Brian N
@briannInterpol use favourite crisp flavours to identify serial killers.Ted Bundy loved bacon frazzles.
Great covers https://youtu.be/B0saB4DQLUw?si=uQktZXlTwbfvLTBn
Brian N
@briannSorry about the Bundy joke-it was shocking.Course on the day of his execution there was a mob outside with banners like:
Burn Bundy Burn and Ted is Toast but my favourite was Tuesday is Fry Day.Happy Days.
Desperate Dan
@desperate-dan@hunnybunny, just noticed that one of Twiggy’s great great great grandparents was called Croix Lac Honey Bunny. Separated at birth?
Did I mention this before?
Brian N
@briannI see her as more of a Welsh terrier half breed.
HunnyBunny
@hunnybunnyCheese and onion
Half bred Welsh and English, so basically a Dragon / Witch cross
Don’t mess with me…
Anyone seen Ian recently?
Desperate Dan
@desperate-danStill swimming to shore, apparently.
Brian N
@briannReports of a man walking on water in the river Clyde wearing clogs and shouting”It was the Welsh Witch” remain unconfirmed.
Wasn’t there a regular contributor called Welshwitch?
Can’t say what Interpol say about cheese n onion crisps,you just wouldn’t believe me.
HunnyBunny
@hunnybunnyYep, WelshWitch exists, just an imposter, she’s American, so not so scary than The Bun
HunnyBunny
@hunnybunnyOr, as The Bunnyman calls me, Atilla the Bun
Brian N
@briannWhich is an anagram of Anita the bull.Yes I’m scared!
Brian N
@briannSo any holidays lined up @hunnybunny?You know we get a vicarious thrill as we’re regaled with your travelogues.
Desperate Dan
