Anyone else think he’s useless?? Weapon takes forever to charge and isn’t even as powerful as the regular Soundwave

@cerpin Remember that Energon Soundwave shoots in two-shot bursts, so if you have a quick finger, you can shoot at two targets at once. Plus, he heals with Energon and his direct shots at air PigBots and Sharktihogs actually do damage, unlike the normal Soundwave who can only take out these enemies with splash damage.

@cerpin @mighty-red-1 In addition to Mighty Red’s comment, it is also a good idea to take out air pigs in masses, then the weak single flying pigs, and put up the Energon shield then transform to get single tough pigs to crash into the protection layer. For some reason, only Soundblaster and Energon Soundwave have the ability to do splash AND single damage…

Not useless. Just not as good as regular Soundwave. (In the higher levels at least. Early on he was way better than regular.) Now Ultimate Megatron on the other hand, he’s completely useless. Only redeeming quality with him is the variant doubler. And that basically just helps the score get up to par with the other characters.

Not nearly as good as regular Soundwave.

Particularly with the River nodes becoming more difficult since the latest ABT update, I’m finding it difficult to complete a run with Energon Soundwave, especially since he’s so vulnerable to damage.

I’m also not a fan of the Energon Airstrike. Having Energon Shields is a huge advantage for regular Soundwave.
