Interesting quandary…  I have SoundWave and Blaster promoted enough that with the 4x bonus it’s a doozy.  Unfortunately, if I pair them together, neither can make a dent on Unicron when he shows up.  The difference in bonus when I put them together as opposed to pairing one of them with Dead End is 60%.

I think the better option is the latter, but when Unicron doesn’t show up, I’m leaving a lot of points on the table…

Day 2 is all pigs. Token levels appear to be back to normal, so they are expected to be:

Something weird is going on.

I just noticed for the second time since the start of this event, that at some point during the run my buddy disappears (there’s no button to call him in), and this is before Astrotrain arrives.

Don’t know if it’s a coincidence, but both were Unicron runs.

Scoring may be back to normal for you guys, but it is not for me, mainly because I can’t currently update the game on my iPad (long story). Not being able to update does have its advantages, though, at least, in this case, and so, as a result, I may be able to unlock Blaster by the end of Day 3, if not sooner.

Are all of Blaster’s accessories in the token exchange? Sometimes they’ll leave one or so out. I need him, his accessories and the reload accessory for Soundblaster.

@joel687 Thanks. Since the scoring keeps changing, I might use most of my gems to finish getting him tonight so all I have to worry about is the accessories for him and the reload for Soundblaster. They have totally screwed up the missions now. I had three separate of them going and got no gems at all. I think professor pig’s lab got nerfed a bit too.

@deszaras I had already mentioned it during a previous event that Rovio has messed up the gem output from the mission portals. The Pig Lab has been nerfed for a long time now, although for awhile, lately, it did seem that Rovio had made the nerfing to the Pig Lab even worse. The recent update that increased silo storage capacity via upgrading, also seemed to at least partially fix the nerfing that was done to the Pig Lab.

My stupid iPad had to go and malfunction right in the middle of a Unicron run and cost me a high score because the malfunction won’t let Energon Grimlock keep firing at Unicron and so he gets killed before he deal any major damage to Unicron.

Gems from pig lab seem worse to me.

@jimmy-necessary I was still getting gems from missions until this morning.

@optimuspig I agree. The gem output from professor pig has gotten worse. It’s like the casino has rigged their machines. Relatively good choices of items to put in for gems are in the dirt. I think I did 5 or more inputs of the 3 blue chips and they were either more of them or coins. I got more super rarium than previously instead of gems.

im fine using up most of my gems now to pay for the rest of Blaster and use the remaining tokens days for his accessories. I doubt any of this will be fixed soon. I think Rovio is done being player friendly. The token cost of Blaster this time is way too high and it was fortunate they gave those tokens away otherwise I wouldn’t even try. They are closing in on milking money from here on out and then end game.

I was able earn enough tokens after my first four runs for Day 3 to unlock Blaster. Now it’s the sparks and as many accessories as I can get because I must (as a robotic look-alike of a cartoon villian once said in a TV show I used to watch) “ACCESSORIZE OR DIE!”.

I don’t normally die when going up against Unicron, but the combination of Unicron + WMTs really makes things difficult.

Well, thanks to my stupid iPad for some unknown reason, I am out of this event (and the game), possibly permanently.

Does anyone know if I can carry over my progress across devices, specifically from my iPad to my Android tablet?

This has been a great event, i started with 2000 tokens as a make up for missing a 1st and two 2nd place finishes in the event that messed up.

Already got all the sparks, all 3 of Blaster’s accessories, Soundwaves Jetpack and have 3850 tokens so far towards a level 16 overpower for Soundblaster with 3 days to go and today’s 4-6 place finish reward.

Running this event with a level 15, 55% (will be 60% after spark challenge resets today) Soundblaster (all accessories) and level 15, 140% Deadend (all accessories). First event i think i have never used my level 15, 140% Nemesis Prime (all accessories)

In theory if you’re connected to Facebook on one device and then you connect it on the other, your game progress should port over.

i tried this once and it seemed to work ok, with the exception of my progress in the day’s competition leaderboard, which it reset for some reason.  The event challenge was unaffected.
