I got away from it because you guys said Capt’n was better. XD Berserk worked alright but I do trust you guys in providing good strategies.

A lot of these strategies assume full access to emblems, classes, Golden Chili, and enchanted weapon sets. Level 50/12 is also in there to some extent.

A good example is the Sweet Witch recommendation that I made earlier – it’s just something that I have, need, and can count on when I’m working against higher-level birds that will take time to KO, birds that can do a *LOT* of damage to your banner if you don’t have her.

@graugeist Can’t I just use Thorn Wall instead of Spiky Spike for objectives?

If your objective is to KO a bird while they attack your banner, I find that Spiky Spike does that better than Retaliate, but YMMV.

Thankfully, today I got easy objectives.
2 wins without Chuck, 2 wins in the enemy’s round, 3 wins killing no enemy birds. Samurai, Druid and Rogues all the way. (I did use Capt’n instead of Samurai for the first round. Worked too.)

Only one more day and then I’m back in the Gold League. After that, gonna play for real.

Did my daily objectives – 3 KO’s with the Blues, 30 birds KO’d, 2 wins with Red staying alive the entire battle. Used E. Knight, Wizard and Spies, and once the Red objective was done, replaced E. Knight with Capt’n.

There’s 5 others competing with me still… I’m in lead but all others are yet to complete their objectives.

How do you know that nobody has completed their objectives or if anybody has completed their objectives. They could of just done random battles to make it look like they completed all objectives, and then for REAL completed their objectives see a huge jump of score.

Also notice the Arena Mayhem. Now much less grinding for a few days for the rest of you. It will only take half the time, so if you are in diamond then you will get 520 as your max reward and mabye 200-300 as your minimum IF you get 3 star wins all the time. So once it starts, there will be higher points across the board, so don’t call somewone with 100K+ a cheater.

Do people think Arena Mayhem is going to double the points you get for the daily objectives too? Or just the post-fight reward wheel?

Because I look at the scores right before the new day started, and compared them to what they showed after I completed my objectives. All scores were unchanged so they haven’t done their objectives yet.
Also, on my boards, people complete their objectives and do battles worth a maximum of 1k arena points. No more than that.

I don’t have Arena Mayhem yet, I got another Enchantment Shard. Starts “in 1 days” for me which is usually the day after tomorrow.

Personally, I think it’s only for the reward wheel. It says “receive double the medal amount from arena battles” so that’s what I assume.

True it will just be a *2 reward wheel so it just means that on the boards it will look like everyone has double the points

True. It would be interesting if these double points were awarded for chain wins… Break the combo by losing, you’re back at 1x or something.

It would matter if it included the objectives, because the mayhem event starts with a few hours left in the league week. If you were to wait until after it started to complete your objectives, you’d get 5500 more than anyone who completed them prior (though you’s lose out on a shard, since the mayhem event starts at the same time the shard event ends).
As it is, I find it a little annoying that they’re starting it right before the end of the league week. I try to take care of all my grinding before the weekend, because that’s family time. People who are free to play on Sunday will have the advantage of easier grinding.

@graugeist There’s a guaranteed shard in Diamond league? Where? The wheel has a 10-shard slot, but there’s only one slot for shards on the wheel..

Isn’t is just plain weird how the Arena Mayhem is starting at the last day of a week? What is that all about?

@bubbley My guess is 2 or 3 days. They have recently made Epic all very busy with these mini activities even since they revamped the Event Calendar. Now there’s something everyday.

@datguygamer desperately trying to maintain interest. I think we will get new content soon. We are getting Arena only weapons but Treasure Hunter’s first attribute is non functional in the Arena. I noticed also in the Elite Knight event the background was completely new. Usually these events are superimposed on existing background.

The 30 extra stars that were removed clearly relate to something they have already prepared. This time they may be trying to produce something that’s not bugged.

@jamairoqui – Sorry if I was unclear. I can guarantee a shard by completing objectives, so I don’t need to be tactical with when I start the next league.

I can remember there used to be 1056 max stars not 1026! But what were these 30 extra stars for, did anyone ever obtain them at all?

Also I got my objectives… Completed the third one and that was killing the banner with a rage effect. Now I need to do two battles without Chuck, and three without the rage chili… But now I get super strong enemies because I already did five arena battles (and lost one). :(
