    @bubbley @pointless @graugeist- how about lets figure out how much TJ and Vallaint appears by doing some “random battles”.

    TJ appears about 1 out of 5 battles for me and Vallaint 1 out of 15 battles

    @bubbley sure, I will collect some empirical data regarding my experiences with Time Jump procs in the next few days…I have certainly noticed streaks in my luck, but memory in a strange thing, oddities tend to stand out.

    @abcdefg
    TJ proc % should be fairly consistent across the board, but Valiant opponents vary greatly with League/Level/Mastery, so not sure tracking this would be of any real use (for example, I face ~90% Valiant opponents in Diamond lve50/M12)

    Well from my personal experience, I encounter Valiants a lot with Emblem of Resurrection. I have encountered teams or bots with other emblems but most of the time they are the Chrono Crest or the Emblem of Resilience. So all in all, I find teams with the most used Emblems.

    I’m dumping around in the Stone League, and besides the emblems you guys mention, I also come across Thorns, Retaliate and especially Vengeful a lot.

    @datguygamer

    I tend to jump around between Emblems as a lot of them are useful for varied for different situations. Personally, I use over 15 or 16 Emblems while only leaving out a few that I never use at all.

    @pointless

    I face almost exclusively a mix of Chrono, Resurrection, Retaliate and Vengeful…except for @bubbley being the “special case” with Rage Shield :P

    @abcdefg

    This is going to be an easy rank up for me. I am in 2nd with 10K. 1st has 15K. 3rd has 3K. 4th has 25 points. 5th has 0 and there is nobody else on my board(no 6th-15th) because it seems that there are not enough level 30s here(I am at 33 and 2/3 level)

    @smwforever45

    Yuck! I got some tougher objectives today.
    “Win 3 battles and defeat 10 birds per battle” and “Win battles and defeat 3 birds at once 2 times”… any good strategies for these two? It’s about 4.5k arena points for me.

    GrauGeist
    @graugeist

    Defeat 10 per battle is super easy! Just have Sweet Witch heal the Banner while your good non-AOE birds kill their birds. Sure, it’ll take a while, but it’s one of the easiest objectives you can get right now.

    The defeat 3 birds at once is still hard. Harder, now that HP has gone up. Bring your best AOEs, and hope for a little luck…

    RedYoshi45
    @smwforever45

    @graugeist
    Ha, talk about Sweet Witch, I have neither the Sweet nor the Witch. XD
    I know it would work great but I just do not have it… And other classes’ healing is ridiculously low compared to Witch.

    @smwforever45
    For the one where you have to KO three birds with a single attach, Cap’n self-buffing and then raging on the next turn has always been the best strategy for me.
    For KO’ing ten birds, my regular arena team has always been pretty effective: Rogues, Witch, and either Cap’n or T-bird. Witch is key, to keep your banner health up. If you don’t have Witch, I guess I’d say to use a Venomous team, so you’ll still have enough healing to keep your banner alive through the loooooong slog it’ll be. Regardless of bird combo, stay away from attacking the enemy banner as much as you can, until you’ve gotten your 10 KOs done. There’s nothing worse than getting nine KOs and then inadvertently killing the banner! Also, stay away from weapons and banner tops/flags/emblems that would damage the opponent banner, like chain attack, the Vengeful crest, or Retaliation.

    Pointless
    @pointless

    Venomous was certainly my go to pre-Witch for the KO ten, especially when the opposition has Matilda to help keep their Banner up. Realistically, Rainbird does little DoT to Banner, so alternate between this and healing, while Druid and Rogues pick off enemy Birds. Takes a while, and doesn’t need to be said, but avoid Mana like the plague…
    As far as KO three in a single attack, I don’t think any objective has been written about as much! I personaly use Wizard and Spies for AoE and then Capt’n. If you lose the toss, generally bail on the objective and just win (if you can), but win the toss and buff with Bomb, whittle away carefully with Chuck and Blues in the first turn. You will then lose Chuck (and maybe Blues) on the counter, but Bomb should then be prime for the Chili.
    Which I just remembered @smwforever45 you don’t have…
    I guess carefully using all Birds with AoE does eventually work, you just need more luck and will have to wait until the Chili fills…

    @smwforever45

    So if I come across a Mana guy (which does occasionally happen to me even in Stone) I can forget the KO 10 birds objective for that battle basically?

    Also @pointless, you mean Spies not Rogues I assume?

    Pointless
    @pointless

    No @smwforever45 Rogues. This trio is classic Venomous. I wouldn’t use Spies here as his amplified AoE will probably KO the Banner too quickly.

    @pointless
    He was referring to when you said “I personally use Wizard and Rogues for AoE…”

    @smwforever45

    Venomous can still win against Mana sets, it just takes even longer. The key is letting the venom do its job; if an enemy bird has sticky goo on him, let it run for all three turns before attacking him with rogues again, because if the mana protection triggers on the second attack, it dispels the goo from the first attack too. And with rainbird, if a first attack gets through the mana to two birds, you let it go for three turns too. On the other hand, if it hits one bird and the banner, I’d do it again right away in hopes of both getting more birds the next time, and dispelling the curse your first attack put on the banner too!
    On the other hand, if an opponent has the weakness emblem, that’s when I’d say to run the other way.

    GrauGeist
    @graugeist

    Oops, sorry. It’s hard for me to remember who has what.

    Pointless
    @pointless

    Sorry @poptimus & @smwforever45 you are completely correct. I have edited my above post for clarity.
    Although nerfed, I still think engaging a Mana team with Venomous is dicey, as management becomes much more tricky. Better to blast through that opponent or McCool them away IMO.
    And yes, weakness is a bane to many setups…Power Team!

    Bubbley
    @bubbley

    @pointless thanks for collecting the data. I have 60 or so at the moment a glance makes me think I will disprove my own theory but your data should clarify that.

    Yes I use Rage Shield. I prefer Vengeance but Rovio have never fixed my problem of Chuck Freezing if he gets knocked out when raging. I got fed up of the opponent freezing the game. Pity because if opponents knock themselves out they are down for a full two rounds or three since the nerf.

    Bubbley
    @bubbley

    @abcdefg virtually all my opponents have Valiant. I occasionally meet one with the blanket set, one with Frozen and one with Blazing, always the same players. There is also one with the new Angry set. I haven’t met a player using the White set since the first week of its release.

    TJ, Retaliate, Vengeance are equally common emblems with a few Thorns and Vampiric. There are a couple who use Rage Shield.

    RedYoshi45
    @smwforever45

    “McCool the opponent away”
    I like that saying. I need to memorise it. XD
    (It’s what I do too btw. But usually I end up with something even worse. XD)

    Yeah. I tried to face Mana sets with Venomous twice. I lost both times… The debuffs simply don’t make it through enough times, it kinda feels like the chance for immunity is higher than 60%…

    I got unlucky… I did the “Kill 3 birds in 1 hit” objective once with Wizard, Berserk and Spies, that counted. Did it a second time with the same setup just now, for some reason it didn’t count… (It was 3 birds at once, definitely!!!)
    Then I went to try the Capt’n strategy from @pointless. First time I lost the coin toss and the match, second time the HP was too high so I couldn’t properly chuck the health down, plus the opponent had Rage Shield. I’ll keep trying… but I may not lose again. I already lost two banners.

    EDIT: Just lost a third time… Game over for me. You guys do not allow me to buy a refill so. ;-;

    GrauGeist
    @graugeist

    I find the Cap’n strategy too difficult, prefer AOEs with Archmage / Spies / Bomb to whittle down before. The high health is a problem.

    GrauGeist
    @graugeist

    Emblem-wise, I’m switching back from TJ to Resurrection – the Valiant nerf is causing me to lose battles when I get multiple failed procs, and my birds are strong enough without the 10% TJ bonus.

    datguygamer
    @datguygamer

    The only Emblems I never use are Purifying Emblem, Magnetic Emblem, any of the “Bird” Shields, Underdog, Stunning Emblem, Crest of Resistance.

    The only other Emblem that I used in the past but won’t from now on is Spiky Spike (because now I have Thorn Wall).

    GrauGeist
    @graugeist

    Spiky Spike is still very useful for objectives.

    Pointless
    @pointless

    @smwforever45 what I alluded to, but didn’t outright say was that the strategy using Capt’n (or any Bomb class for that matter) for the KO three with one attack objective is highly dependent on having the Golden Chili, as you can unleash its might after a few AoE attacks to bring all enemies down to low enough health. Without it, you are sure to lose your own Birds, as well as perhaps inadvertently KOing enemies before you have filled your Chili for Bomb. You would be better served approaching the objective as you did initially, relying on AoE from all your Birds. Yes, this will take longer as it is more reliant on luck, but you will benefit from having a stronger lineup and therefore shouldn’t lose as often.
    I have said before that I have completed this objective many times using Wizard, Spies and Paladin. Granted, all my Birds have AoE sets, which helps immensely. Why did you deviate from what worked the first time for you anyways? The objective is somewhat buggy, as you have noticed, in that sometimes an attack doesn’t count for some reason (so you know, a Chuck Rage does not count as a single attack, so try to avoid that).
