Thanks guys it came late last night. Kind of wish I would have been skipped now! It really confused things. I don’t even know what level I am playing against now and the bank changes suck. I would think Rovio would spend a few minutes fixing glitches but it’s obvious they only care about selling things.

Rovio clearly does not have their priorities straight.

Sure they do, that’s why there’s a LIMITED TIME ONLY opportunity to spend $13.99 on 200 feathers, 50 black pearls and 1,600 gems.

I just had an opponent whose flock was ranked at levels 22 & 23. I understand that some players had their flock ranked up because of their hats/slingshots, but ranked higher than the level update of yesterday? Luckily, I won but are we going to be facing opponents that are ranked at yet-to-be released levels?

I also have 22 and 23 level birds. Simple: level 16 and 17 birds + 3 full0 sets of hats + 6 birds with cowboy and one with pirate hat. 16+3(sling)+3(active hats)=22 Rank is now total amount of score multipliers.

Well the arena is now a joke, no matter how high your flock is (mines 209) , how many spells you take in or how well you play you can still be behind by 2 or 3 million. Birds are definitely doing less damage and the spells are pathetic.

My birds are at 33, Kelshe. They went from 19 to 29 with the update, then up to 30 as they leveled up normally. Looks like they level up again with the purchase of a set of hats. Almost all of my opponents also have level 33 birds.

Can someone help me . My birds were at levels 11-14 yesterday . I did an update on my iPad now they are at 15-18 . Anyone else have this happen to them ?

I am new to post but have been reading topics for a few years. I have to agree. This might be the most ridiculous update to date. I am a pretty decent player. It took me 5 attempts to beat the first level in arena. My opponents would score 2+ million points with a single bird but mine would do little damage. I played the update yesterday and it didn’t seem as bad as today. Oh well…this sucks.

Anyone who has an elder gold slingshot already is not playing fair. There is no way anyone could win the almost 20,000 black perls needed playing legitimately. Even on multiple devices because it would require 8 devices and playing the daily challenge and king pig challenge every day 8 times.

In my view anyone who has an elder gold slingshot already is a hack. And should be at least soft banned and made to level up properly. Not just hacking the game and giving themselves unlimited gems and pearls. If everyone who has cheated had actually spent some money playing, maby Rovio would not have to cash grab off of regular fair players

This is what I don’t like, though. The longer this game runs without fixing the exploits (not including hacks), the worse it gets. This site used to be for comradery, help, suggestions and reporting to Rovio the problems. One of the better threads was started by Yoshi, good and bad luck. Mr. Bankler and the programmers took notice of our screen shots and made adjustments. They made it seem like they cared.

Now I agree with so many others here, it is all about the money. I don’t have a problem with that, except that so many people have figured out ways around it.

I really like the Knight helmets/hats, that’s why I keep them on CaptSternn :) ….and as above, this game is full of simple exploits.

I figure if Rovio do nothing to ban/remove hackers & remove the multiple exploits that have been discussed time and time again to make the game fair, then taking advantage of an exploit to bring some sort of normality/fairness to the game is the only way to do so, because I sure as hell am not going to spend my weekly paycheck like Rovio want us all to do :/

I’ve been pretty upfront about whatever exploits I’ve found since a few of the Rovio staff seemed to be reading the forums regularly. I figured that showed a good faith effort to give them a chance to fix what others were clearly exploiting, and I agree that due to their apparent disregard for these exploits, we may as well all take advantage of them to sort of level the playing field.

I’d imagine the effort it took them to separate out the verbal abuse from the actually helpful feedback might have been why they stopped participating.

Yeah, they “made it better” again. I played today’s DC and got some pearls, spent them for buying halloween hat for
Terence, leveled my slingshot to the azure or whatever coming after gold. When i few hours later entered to the nest for playing free entry azure slingshot was gone also Terence’s halloween hat. And of course my pearls. Wtf?
