@flying-falcon glad to hear you are back racing. I (along with several others here) was also affected by the perpetual hour glass a while back so I can relate to the frustration of having that happen.

@phoenix6 one of the rovio staff to s helping me with my account but it still hasn’t been fixed they are still working on it. I haven’t played multiplayer because I’m sacred when my account gets fixed everything I did when it was broken will be lost . I haven’t been on a lot because no one has mentioned me. I know that I the newest member and I only spent one day in abgoforit but please treat me like I’m a part of your team. Also the new update is very cool the design is much better now . My account should be fixed soon I hope.

I think you need to del and reinstall again… Do not remove records from game centre though…

@platium I had the FB issue for a few days as well. Now it seems to be fixed but I can’t access multiplayer anymore…get the perpetual spinning hourglass. Are you able to play multiplayer?

Well it seems that Rovio support gave me the inside scoop on the game as they’ve launched a massive redesign update for Go! on IOS. (not out on Android yet)

Based on reading IOS user comments on this forum, this is reminding me of their epic failure before Christmas with the lost gems, lost progress, lost karts resulting from their introduction to the special Christmas kart

For those of you not yet upgraded, BACKUP your game! I have an app called “App Backup & Restore” I found on Google Play. It works. Assume it’s available on the iTunes store or at least something similar.

On Android, this morning, I’m was unable to advance to the multiplayer game screen. After pressing the button to enter, the game freezes and eventually sends me back to home page. Last night, I was able to play 2 races before game was unable to find racers and then the hourglass error started. These two event suggest to me that Rovio took multiplayer down in attempt to fix the update issues on IOS.

Seeing folks here talk about FB error, I’ve since tried to log out of FB to see if this is the issue for me. The game is not letting me do so in the app so I’m thought connection with FB is the cause of the problems. It’s not. It’s the availability of multiplayer. I’ll explain.

After a quick backup, I chose to uninstall and do a clean install of the game. I logged into my Rovio account (progess intact..thank God) and did NOT log into Facebook account. The same error for multiplayer error continued. Press button, screen tries to advance to the multiplayer team board then freezes and returns back.

Seems Rovio has taken multiplayer away for Android users until they resolve their update issues OR they’re getting ready to launch the Android update.

So patience is the key now. I guess I will head back to AB Pop! 45 new levels and a beautiful? Shakira Bird (yup…that’s right…before getting too excited, this birds hips DO lie…despite the long blond locks, she’s no where near as sexy as the Columbian Goddess)

Nice to see @grimmjow back to the forum but it’s unbelievable that he’s lost all progress after the “duplicate identity” issue that force him to give up on this game months ago. What a mess for you my friend :(

I also received cupcake from FORDMOTERCO but currently have request to send a cupcake to WEAREWINNER.

Have no fear though….both were newbies I kicked off our team a while ago as I was searching for a legit replacement for Nacho18.

I think Rovio was slow to have the integration of the mailbox to when cupcakes are actually sent. I always seem to get 7 to 10 notification all at the same time when it’s clear each of you didn’t send me a cupcake then. I don’t think the cupcake mailbox works very well.

I seem to be up and running again with multi-player … interesting that @bluebear actually got a maintenance message. I often wondered why Rovio didn’t previously use something like that when they have down-time (planned or otherwise)

I do notice that my avatar picture, @phoenix6 and @platium are all missing. Everyone else’s appears. Probably will see them all eventually restored but wonder if this has to do with our three recent troubles … who knows?

Looking forward to the Android update provided the bugs are out of it.

EDIT: I got as far as the team multi-player leader board (all our eggs are intact) but then got the “you must be online to race” message when trying to get opponent. Have full WIFI signal so I know the game isn’t working right yet. Then got sent back to the spinning hourglass. I guess no races for me this weekend. I give up on it for a more days.

@abgofast & @platium if you want your avatars back just reselect the image in your driver’s license options and watch the video.

@stevep what is up with your avatar? It’s been changing everyday and seems to be self-replicating and multiplying. First it was Chuck above @abgofast’s the Eye of the Packers, next day was two Chucks above two Eye of the Packers, then four and so on. Now it all looks like a million dots there is so many of them.

On a side note, seems like multiplayer is back up and running smoothly again.

@phoenix6 I wish I could tell you what was up with my avatar, but I can’t even get far enough to see it now. I did see the Packer eye over Chuck right after the update, but haven’t been able to get past the hourglass since. Another epic fail
of an update. Makes an old guy want to retire…

Hello,

Rovio restored me my save. The problem came from the passage to the iOS 9.
Concerning the update, it brings nothing new, always blocking challenges with the paying bonuses.
However having nothing more to make, I am certainly going to play a little bit on-line just to reach the level 25. So I could say to myself that I finished everything on all the games AB.

Level 25 is the max ?

I am back, I couldn’t connect to multiplayer team from Saturday evening till Monday. There was message: Connection failed! You need to be online to proceed. From Monday with connection to team multiplayer all is ok. On Sunday I wrote to support regarding connection bug and other bugs.
Answer about device configuration was: Have you checked that since you upgraded your iOS to iOS 9.0.1 that your device’s memory is not running low? This is the most likely cause for the crashing game and is easily fixed by rebooting the device regularly and clearing up unnecessary apps and photos as well as killing the background apps before entering the game.
