One strategy for Angry Birds Surf and Turf level 41 is to send the Blue birds into the left side of the top structure, splitting as late as possible. The birds will fall through the rows of ice blocks below, while the debris from the above will fall onto the main structure. With a little luck, you can manage a one-bird clear and, with enough debris breaking, three stars. Use if necessary the yellow bird to finish the remaining pig. The score in the video below is 103,280 but used all three birds to clean up debris.
Version 2022:
Finally! I got a one-bird destruction with a high score! I took the same first shot as the video strategy and sent the sweet little triplets (Blues) to the high tower and when it toppled it took out all the piggies and did a lot of destruction below. It did take several times to get the full destruction. I’ll post my score once I finish 3 stars on all the levels. I’m so used to AB Space that playing regular AB again, especially Surf N Turf, is really tough for me. I have to force myself to remember YB in AB is not the same as LB in Space. ;-)
I got a one bird also, but for 104K so I am envious of your destruction! ;-)
It had to be that rare occurrence (for me) of the L Factor. As of today, I still don’t have 3 stars in all levels of S&T. Keep flinging @playdbird! You’ll get more destruction.
I see you got your groove on @playdbird! Congrats on bringing up your score by 11k!
Here’s my screenshot: http://angrybir.de/SRjQfE. I don’t use PU’s. If I’m able to get this shot again with good score, I’ll try to remember to act fast and get a screen capture of the trajectory.
@GypsyBird @playdbird Any chance you can give some more details for those of us who are flinging challenged? A screenshot of the trajectory that gives a high score would really help. If not a screenshot, details on how high an arc and where the 3 blues hit would also help. Guess I should have paid more attention to the statement “one-bird destruction with a high score! Can’t say how many times I’ve gotten 1-bird and not even 3*s.
@mvnla2, there are a lot more higher scores now (current high is jazzlilly1232 – 123,550). I probably only had #1 for a few minutes. I flung out the blues the same as the video. Just have to keep playing with that trajectory/angle of shot and experiment with timing for the release of the triplets. I always activate them fairly close to the top tower – hitting at least two of them directly on the concrete top. You want the top triangle to fall to the left and the rest of it to go to the right. This level definitely has the “L” factor for how much destruction you can get. Just keep on flinging and go back to this level off and on and eventually you will hit the golden mark. :-)
121650 with this approach.
Don’t you love the luck factor.
Yes, I do. With the luck factor I was able to score 124k with this method.
Here’s a vid for 120k. I tried for about an 30 mins this morning. No luck. After 3 tries this afternoon I nearly beat my own high. Luck needed with persistence.

One bird and a lot of luck…
The trick was to get part of the top concrete to fall forward and some backward, after that I just hoped for the best.
I don’t think that we can discount the luck involved in some of these levels, since there isn’t a great deal of small-scale precision.
Luck is definitely the player in this level. Not my favorite level in the batch, but watching the chain reaction is pretty entertaining ;)
Definitely a 1-Birder, just like in video.
Just like it on attempt 187. LOL
102k is 2* so I believe you can call 103k confirmed as the 3 star threshold.
110270. After about the 10th try…magic. 2 birder
For the 1-birder, On full zoom out, I aim to just clear the left peak in the background, usually firing between 1st and middle peak, which is how I got my current score of 116k.
On one attempt, I split a bit earlier, just before the first peak, nearly getting 120k, but for one little piggy. I captured the trajectory for that shot:

No wait, looking at the photo again I see I split in my usual spot.
Now I have 120k :)

T hanks @bonneypattycat for posting the screenshot very helpful..i kept getting stuck with that stubborn little piggie on the bottom right, he would roll right to the edge but wouldn’t fall..finally got the little bugger lol:) talk about the ‘L’ factor this level defines it nicely.
Great score btw:) ty again..
The trajectory and split timing (and luck) are everything on this level.
The 1-bird solution to the upper structure worked. The upper structure needs to completely fall and the fall of debis is mostly to the right and at least the stone triangle to the left. It helps is the BB break a couple of the glass planks below. The entire lower structure fell into the center of itself. Kept centering the location of the Blue Bird arc was to the horizontal wood plank in the upper structure.
Great tips @wrw01 as always! And if I may add I noticed that if the triangle brick hits the lower wood plank instead of the upper one on the left it tends to make the left structure collapse nicely into the middle helping to destroy the debris adding to your total points. Nice score wrw01!! I tried but couldn’t quite get there!! :)
My strategy was the first and only shot just like the video, it is best for the blue birds to fall down and break some of the ice/glass so that the towers collapse and destroy themselves. Pretty straightforward level.

Same here – was just about to post that myself…
So what else does it take to get an underdog?
Why would you want the underdog badge? This level wasn’t part of the challenge.
You’ll find some info about the badge here: https://www.angrybirdsnest.com/about/badges-ranking/#badge-17
I want it because I got a top score and provided proof and a strat. Had seen that page before but didn’t know the underdog badge only pertained to some levels and not all, thanks for the tip.
Almost everything has been said about this level.
Anyway, here is the trajectory for the first and only bird:
http://angrybir.de/1gnG5EQ
(not different from the @bonneypattycat screenshot, thanks for the tip ;-) )
Two things must happen to get a really high score.
First, everything up there must fall down.
Second, the 3 birds must break the first two glass floors during their fall.
On top of that you must get extra lucky to break the glass block at the bottom of the left tower to hope for something over 110k.
Anyway, here is the result for my highest score:

And this is the highscore screenshot:

Hope it helps.
Whoa. I hit it just right and got a one-birder! Woo-hoo!
