Our strategy for Angry Birds Star Wars Tatooine level 1-26 is to launch Luke, at half power, just above the first pig-trooper. Luke should land on the top vertical wood block. Pull the lightsaber out upon impact. The structure should collapse to the left, while some debris falls to the right, destroying all the pig-troopers.

New Event: Menasor – Repairs Complete! Roll Out!
This trajectory is unreal on my phone :(. After some crazy tries – lob shot helped.
Hard, but repetable (45.360).
Thank you SO MUCH @AustinRHL! First try!
I thought I had the right trajectory and hit the vertical beam in the right spot, but the pig on the right won’t fall even though the metal ball is breaking the plant that is supporting him. Any ideas?
http://bit.ly/WpM0wl
I agree. The half-power shot is way too difficult, and it isn’t necessary. Do a high lob instead, so that the bird hits at or just above the horizontal wooden bar. But what’s essential is to use the lightsaber BEFORE impact, to give the bird a clear path to hit the vertical metal block and knock the metal ball rightwards. (This took me quite a while to figure out – before, it looked like the ball just magically popped out to the side in the video.)
@austinrhl. Thanks! Used your strat to get 3 stars, my last for tatooine.
Dittos @AustinRHL
44640 1-birder, on a high arc-full power shot:
Aim to take out the middle wooden block with the lightsaber so Luke continues to the right. That will get the stone to drop and take out the right-most pig, while the structure falls left and takes out the remaining pigs.
As I wrote before: “Sabre MUST cut wooden board, Luke go trought falling dome antenna”. This not only a stone goes to the right. Smaller part works great too.
I smashed wooden bord with sabre but never hit round stone or made it to roll this way (Android fone).
I didn’t find it all that difficult. The problem with the half power shots as I see it is primarily the fact that the bird might run out of energy before getting the job done. Waiting for those slow rolls of the pig to get them to pop is kinda roug on the nerves.
This is a great strat @AustinRHL. Finding the release point isn’t that hard, just a few dozen shots. The key to your strategy is where to hit and when to use the light saber. Without those keys, it would take hundreds of shots to figure it out. Thanks.
I went this way too and got 46k, a bit more repeatable than the video’s strategy. Key is to let Luke hit the debris at far right, then roll down to hit even more,
I was trying the high lob strategy, but couldn’t get the 3 stars until I saw what you wrote about when to activate the lightsaber. A few tries later, I was successful. Thanks!
Film trajectory provide one floor higher (on smartphone).
Very difficult. I guess I will leave it for a while and try to repeat this method million times. Alternative strategy would be welcome.
Refering to written description of method, can somebody please explain what did you mean by saying “launch Luke, at half power”?
Probably means pulling Luke halfway instead of at full stretch.
Approximately half to control the curve of the trajectory.
@sal9, thank you pal. You are great, now it is 100% clear and very repeatable, I finally got it.
I hope there’s not too many space-based episodes, they’re so depressing. I did get the 1-Birder though.
I had to go with the lob shot. Those 1/2 draw shots are hard to achieve with any accuracy on my PC with a standard mouse. 45140, but ‘I’ll be back’
Accurancy on phone is thought too.
I would have thought accuracy on the PC would be much easier, similar to how an FPS shooter has more accuracy on a PC than on a console.
NOTHING I do sends debris both left AND right. Full power, half power, lob, level… nothing. Last level in this section that’s not three stars. Ready to hurl phone at wall.
Hard but not as it looks. I made some 45k+ skores, REPETED my previous 45.670 and improve from 30 to 10 on a list. 1. An arc. 2. Many things will crash left side 4. Some a right one – egzample: parts of a roof antenna. 5. Try many types of arc. My first attempt was to move a round little ston to the right. Now I find MORE ways to score after some tryes (1/10). 6. Observe whats going on – whats parts works for L and R side. Enjoy!
PS. Look at the STARS. The from ages show the way.
Flat arc at full power with activating a light sabre BEFORE a hit works too. I little improved (10->4) this way. Sabre MUST cut wooden board, Luke go trought falling dome antenna.
“Half a Luke” works too, harder to control. Above works better and gives higher scores. My old method form the beginning works too but are depressing.
@bird-tester this is also how i did it..flat arc swing [green saber] just before structure taking out wooden plank Luke then bounces through antenna high up on the hill and rolls [bounces] down as structure falls to the left.
Thanks @bird-tester the straight and narrow worked just fine IMO. :)
Ditto. @kimmiecv this is getting a little eerie.
Lol @abcrazy!! It’s getting Freaky!!! Twilight Zone anyone?! :D
I went with this method, the straight ahead full-power shot just missing the 1st square metal block. I found you can swing just before or even as you make contact with the top left of the structure. Luke goes through the antenna then hits the top of the hill behind, rolling down for a few extra foliage points.
There’s very little here from folks who scored 47k+. I assume the metal square & half-moon were destroyed when the tower tipped?
@bird-tester thanks, worked fine for me
I had just about decided to move on to the next level but actually got this score trying to confirm the minimum 3 star score.
I used the lob-shot mentioned by @austinrhl above. Hitting the tower and having everything fall left but that metal ball which rolled to the right.
I *still* can’t confirm 3 stars, though!
@JTB – Congratulations!
I too used the same method as @austinrhl and the great tip to start swinging before hitting everything.
@78rpm Thanks! For all my playing I get the top score very, very infrequently and usually it’s just plain old luck! :)
3 starred at 43860. After many tries and only 2 stars, I used the light sabre before hitting wood board which helped me hit the round ball and send it to the pig on the right. Antenna fell and hit far left pig. Thanx for all of the help on this one.
Has anyone seen the antenna crumple and then re-straighten itself back out after settling? Reminds me of “Christine”…
I just saw that – slightly creepy…
I saw that too. I found that the tower would actually “crawl” to the left and pop the pig if I waited. But what do you mean by “Christine” @Optik?
@bird-addict
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=aJ5M11m9vI0&feature=youtube_gdata_player
Thanks @optik. Christine must have been a self healing car, no?
That is strange – I actually saw the antenna straighten out & reattach itself to the top after coming off. And I’ve seen the tower crawl over to pop the pig on the left as well. Reminds me a bit of the the crawling branches in Mooncake Festival.
This level required me to reach a little deeper and call up my inner Jedi. My first instinct was to get as close as possible before drawing my light saber, for maximum destruction…BUT fellow Jedi, listen to the other wise warriors who warn about fighting this instinct and instead drawing your saber BEFORE impact. This is imperative as keeping the metal “antenna” tower in one piece is what allows you to eliminate the far left pig. I found that aiming Luke directly at the horizontal board puts him in the right location in order to follow through to the antenna tower. Bump goes Luke into the bottom of the tower-stone rolls into right pig-complete tower falls left and squash go the others. Good Luke and my the birds be with you!
this one does not work for the star wars on facebook…. weird though… bug possibly…
I found this level the hardest by far thinking that there must be a bug. I tries the suggested strategies where you would push the ball to the right an the tower would fall to the left, but though the ball fell on most occasions, it left the pig hanging on a thread unharmed.
So I tried a different approach: launch the bird just above the first steel block at full power and engage the sabre before hitting the structure -> the bird bounces and hits the right pig and the structure falls to the left eliminating the rest.
Thank you!!!! After trying this level dozens of times with the advice above, your technique finally worked!
46,690 with this method. Saber took out the horizontal wood beam and damaged the metal tower before passing through to the right pig. Several hours to get this to happen. Very frustrating level.
I have to agree that this one is frustrating and not nearly as much fun as some of the others.
Thank you!! You saved me much frustration!
Many thanks @pew-pew. This is the only strat I’ve tried that took me above average. I think maybe some of the other strats work better once you have the green light saber?? I’m early on my Star Wars journey so have a way to go before I can unlock the Jedi chapter, so Luke is still struggling with blue :))
I’m confused, how do you send at half power?
Don’t pull the slingshot all the way, just about half to reduce the speed of the bird. You’ll notice that the trajectory is affected by this.
this is a video of @austinrhl method http://youtu.be/WurkU2xOCJs
also get a good result with @bird-tester method ,Thank u both:)
Could someone with a +47K score please share where those additional points are coming from? I’ve had a couple of shots that have pretty much “cleaned the hill” and everything to the right of the last tower. I’m just not understanding where that last 1,000 points would be gained other than perhaps the small wooden and larger metal block nearest the slingshot? But how to get those when shooting the other strategies?
@uncle-b Good question! Personally, I think this level may be PC cursed, albeit subtly. Aside from one lone 47k score from someone I don’t know, all the other PC scores seem to max out around 46,800. This one’s definitely going on the candidate list.
47690 with one bird.
Thanks to @austinrhl for the strategy. Nothing really different, just some small variations to try to scrap a few points here and there.
I have been using an old PC version for this one, hence the 21:9 large screen pictures.
Here is the final result.
And this is the highscore screenshot.
All the screenshots are also available in high res here in one set.
