Our strategy for Angry Birds Star Wars Tatooine level 1-27 is to launch Obi-Wan towards the north side of the planet, just above the pile of blocks. He should go through the ice block below the top pig-trooper. Initiate the Force just before he reaches the second pig. Debris and blocks should be sent flying away, and destroy the last pig below.

Wow, another top score today. Some of them was bitten.
I launch him at the same spot, but use the force on the pile of blocks as I pass it. Kills all porktroopers, plus you get lots of points.
This is the way to go for a good score. Getting the pig sitting on the east side is annoying, though.
Just got 47010 using your method. Good advice, thanks!
Great strategy – thanks!
It seems that these comments were transplanted from another forum, except not all the comments were moved. Could you provide us with the benefit of your full strategy @oxbone
I don’t understand this comment @ohforfive. We haven’t moved any comments.
@AMSlimFordy They are talking about a strategy from oxbone and I don’t see one. I was thinking that when the game first came out this forum wasn’t available and posts were made in another forum. When this became available, things were moved. My comment wasn’t meant to annoy you.
@ohforfive, the walkthrough pages were posted fairly fast. So no comments were transfered. To answer your question, I think oxbone used the exact same shot as the walkthrough. But instead of aiming the Force at the piggies, he aimed it (backward) at the pile of stone and wood blocks.
@ohforfive I wasn’t annoyed at all; I was concerned that I was missing something.
As Sal said, I believe Oxbone’s strategy was simply written in an abbreviated way, but I think it’s complete (i.e., self-sustaining).
It worked like a charm! Got 48,000 first try!
Seems to be the best strat for that level
Worked like a charm, thanks!
49190/1
same like @oxbone many thx
here my video:

REVELATION solutions! After some time I cach an idea but one trooper was long time lost. Then it’s happend 48.100. Thx a lot.
The biggest problem is Tropper on 3 o’clock. Obi-Wan landing a hair to it without killing (wrong – once happened :) – 48.150 / extra + 50). Debris must do this.
I confirm again Oxbone method. A key is a plece to tap power direction. Many posibbilities. 27K easy, 48K and higher – harder. Possibly 50K max.
I’m back and improved +580 to 49.030 (# 6). Now I will work a bit more about this level.
Getting the trooper at 3’o clock is bit harder so what I did was to launch Obi-Wan via south side, clearing the junk and launching the force before the impact on ice block. This takes a bit of time to adjust but I got 47k with this.
The beauty of your method is one of consistency. Not only is it easier to three star it this way, it’s more reliably accomplished.
@truckdriver Thank you. Hope you are having a good time destroying those pesky pigs!
Whew! After the last level and this, I see a pattern of more difficult challenges ahead. I followed the path blazed by @oxbone after trying many other ways. (Thanks @oxbone) Tough part of this level is learning to focus The Force on the right spot. Unfortunately I can’t give any better clue than to say “somewhere near the middle of the second row of blocks” just as OW has passed the center of the pile. Good Luke and may the birds be with you.
@Bird-addict @oxbone — Thanks for the strat; got 48610. I would add the following: Bird addict’s force activation spot works well, and maybe what he / she meant was as OW passes center of the pile in N/S coordinates (not radial); anyway that’s what worked for me. In the end it was one of the blocks from that pile that got the trooper at 3 o’clock. I was trying to get him with OW by sending OW higher into ice blocks supporting troopers, so that might work also.
Thanks for your strat it helped me to improve to my current high! ;-)
Thanks for your strat it helped me to cut through the 48 barrier! ;-)
yep, “somewhere near the middle of the second row of blocks”
:) 48150
Great strat by oxbone and @Bird-addict your in the middle tip worked great!! Is it just me or does Obi seem more inclined to kiss and hug the trooper at 3 o’clock instead of make him dinner?? I swear he’s got a big crush on that pig! If it wasn’t for a block hitting the bacon bit I think obi would still be trying to make bird pigs with the guy!!! :( I may have to pull him aside and have a birds and pigs talk with him…..
Because I was an Opener of this level I will post some MORE observations.
Oxbone show ANOTHER then film way to pass. For me – mayby opposite direction only! Because – up to now – I don’t tap a force at on the pile of blocks! I tryed “glacial cube” point now (not mastered, simply trued) but it’s only 47K+ score – little to low to me. What a pity we don’t know Oxbone score. Now what’s work for me:
Trajectory. Not so low AND not so high over the pile of blocks. Optimum for OW is to fly between planet ground AND a glass shelfs. Because 3:30 trooper sits at the crater – not a ground level – aiming trajectory is to OW land at his place. Precisly: to lay more frequently on empty crater then to seat on it. IF you can clear the rest and only 3:30 trooper last – go little higher (a hair only) OR change a timing.
Timing aka Taping moment. For me something between 11:55 over the bush and 12:05 – before a glass wall (sometimes little later – up to 12:10 max).
Taping point. Last but not least :). For me – after some hard study – is at between 6:32 and 7:00. Over a bush or near the electronic trash. AND near the planet. That area. Mayby it’ll be a key for you young Yedi.
That’s a bit of theory. There is some exceptions, eg.: OW flying higher trajectory and missed 2:30 glass wall; 3:30 trooper hit by going counterclockwise block etc.
At ideal manner 10:00 to 3:30 area must be cleared. Maybe an electric cable will last. Rest is laying at opposite site. All bushes (11:55 bush gone earlier), electronic trashes AND beetle. At this moment I improved from #6 to #3. This is -190 only from align a top and 200 to beat it eventually.
Many of you knows this – judging by the scoreboard. Or pushed a force by the pile of blocks. Or “just happened”.
Interestingly the Force works somehow in both directions there: <<>>. Sometimes as strong as at opposite side will cross (by flying OW and debris).
For some very open minded. Some trashes lays at starting plannet – not by a case. Let the Force be with you.
Excellent details @bird-tester I’ve slowly been improving many thanks to your study..haha you live true to your name:)
Double Yes: I spent a lot of time here. My name for the game is definitely not coincidence. I was 10 years long an inventor and president of club MTB Tester :). I like to test :)).
@bird-tester I do testing at my job that is what I’ve always done at different places quality control inspector/tester..:) what is club MTB ? Sorry if i should know that..
You cannot use G search? :) Mountain Terrain Bike!
Woo hoo just moved up to place 17 thanks again @bird-tester I’m on to the next:)
Thanks @bird-tester for taking the time to develop and post the strategy. I was able to score 48450 (moving from 250 > 95) with many, many many shots….my old eyes on this Android phone screen make it challenging.
If any other Android phone flinger is having trouble with a “7:00 tapping point,” I’d like to add that on my phone at least, the tapping point was closer to 8:00 rather than 7:00. Everything else was as bird-tester wrote.
I’ll come back later and try to improve this score. I’m having trouble adjusting to these new “birds” in ABSW, but persistence will pay off. These swine will not survive ! ! ! ! !
Score : 46680. I have not read Oxbone strategy (cannot find it !) but for me, to get the 3* was easier when starting by the south side (43-45k, repeatable). Sent Obi Wan on the trooper at south, it rolls “up” toward the ice block, then activate the force just on impact. But for extra points, i am still trying and trying different ways… ;-)s
It’s the second post from the top.
