Angry Birds Star Wars Path of the Jedi Level J-26 Walkthrough

Our strategy for Angry Birds Star Wars Path of the Jedi level J-26 is to carefully time sending Luke south along the center planet. If you make it past the lasers untouched, wait until Luke reaches the TNT on the extreme east side, then use the lightsaber to detonate it. Target the northern-most pig with Han, shooting any remaining pigs on the northeast planet with Han’s blaster and cutting the rope to crush the center pig.

If you shoot Han not with full power, it gives you more time to aim to the far away pig

First shot as in video. With some luck, all pigs on the planet are killed. This is not essential, but makes life easier because in the second shot you can aim for points instead of pigs.

Second shot, aim for the horizontal stone plank instead of the pig. Immediately shoot at the planet to kill and/or destroy. Han will push the plank in front of the canon (which will kill plank and itself). Han will normally also kill the pig.

Hardly done. I has luck written above (killed all pigs on Right planet). Bevare! I forgot about cuting a rope activator (to kill last pig by gate) and lost score eg 77K!

To many 2B little under 3*. I’ll be back.

I was able to take the lasers out of the equation completely and get three stars (75,560) with three birds.

1) Aim Luke for the stone T-junction just below the topmost bird — that will the push the stone in front of the top laser, causing it to destroy itself.

2) Aim Han as far up as you can to shave off as much of the vine as possible, causing the stone platform to drop and destroy the bottom laser. Shoot Han’s laser toward the middle of the main structure.

3) Use the space cleared by Han #1 to aim Han #2 as far as up as possible while still allowing him reach the main structure’s planet. Then just before hitting that planet, fire the laser to activate the TNT.

Instead of fooling around with other strats as I usually do, I decided that the best course of action for this episode was to do it as on the video, and, I almost got the top score, so currently I’m at #2 spot.

SW J-26 – 84180 w/2 Birds..
1st – Luke to the right towards the 2 boulders (must be there for some reason), a sort of a “billiard boulder” shot to the laser just off to the lower right that pivoted and blasted the entire structure to the right to smithereens!
2nd – Han closed out the level taking out the top most pig.
All skill no luck involved, have fun “shooters”.. thx

Greetings @marc987 – what a brilliant strategy! It took me soooo long just to finally get 3 Stars with the basic approach. I just tried to do it this way and, even with skillful flinging, it still is a matter of timing ‘luck’ to get Luke over to the laser to swipe the light saber at just the right moment to hit them down to the right. So far can’t get the laser to go hit the TNT at all. LOL. I’m okay with the score I have right now anyway so this will just be a new challenge later to come back and try to perfect the new ‘Marc’s Luke Light Saber Billiard Boulder Shot’! I would love to know if anyone else has repeated this strategy. The high score makes it tempting to try, but on the one-in-a-million lucky shot that got the laser to turn it was only able to blast the top part of the structure to the right. The little crevasse it sits in prevents the shots from reaching any more of the structure.

Tried many times and could not do it. The laser rotated just a little or way too much. I don’t see how this strategy is “all skill no luck involved”… seems to be 99% luck.

@ERicJ – Needless to say, “all skill no luck involved” was meant as a joke. Perhaps I stand to be corrected however as another “shooter” scored 84280. No word on his/her strategy, perhaps that post will appear here on the forum.. thx

Thanks marc987 for your strategy. It took a while but I ended up over 58,000 points with Luke and then used Han to kill the top pig and push the metal shelf under the top laser gun to have it self destroy. Aim Luke for the top of the small boulder, using his saber to deflect the laser beams up to the top shelf; after impact Luke hits the wood hinge of the metal bar, pushes the bar to right with the small boulder on top of him… When the metal bar is destroyed, the small boulder falls on the lower laser gun from high enough to bouncier on the gun to make it come up and rotate to the right as it rubs the right side of the hole. Now number 2, pushing my wife down from number 4.

Used this strat, after many tries the laser shooter came well out of the hole and destroyed most of right side, 2nd shot to upper pig and firing at the TNT on the right which was left after first shot, not much left after that, new high score!

Cripes sake it took me a day and a half to get this strat to work! Stupid Luke kept hitting the lazer ball too many times and it would Always fall back into the nitch!! Thanks @marc987 for a really great if hard to make work strat!! Couldn’t get near all these great scores but I still got a very nice over avg due to your strat!! Very appreciative of your sharing with the rest of us nesters!! :)

Thanks. This strategy definitely works. I tried it for a while and raised my score to over 84000. The sad thing is I got a score of 76000 and I wasted one Han. I think a score over 85000 is possible. I aim the first shot to just take out the plant on the lower planet and use Luke’s sabe to smash the boulders. The rest is luck.

I am going for over 85000!

@marc987 – thank you for this “all skill no luck” strategy. I would say it requires a lot of luck. I tried it before, but couldn’t get it to work: the laser ball didn’t turn the right way or got destroyed most of the time. Today, I finally had one good shot and the laser started shooting the right structure, though did not destroy all of it. I shot it some more with Han and finally got a score over 80k. Thanks again!

Thanks to @marc987 for the billiard boulder shot! I finally got it to work on today’s Challenge. I was able to raise my score enough to get in the Top 50! It took so much flinging – definitely worth the effort though. Takes a lot of persistence – Young Luke is still such a novice Jedi that he often forgets to get out of the way of the small boulder so it can bump the laser ball to move it up out of the pit and shoot out the structure on the right planet. Luke did finally get the idea and bounced in a different direction.

Minimize the window size for the second shot, so the window doesn’t shift. Makes setting the target for Han’s shots much easier.

There is a third way… sling Luke towards the piece of growth just underneath the top-left pig. Whilst passing the pig use your sabre to kill this pig. You will bounce of the rock, and three things may happen:
1) The laser “pushes” you into orbit around the first planet, thereby killing the pig in the center with “floating” Luke
2) Luke bounces far enough and (only just) cuts through the string, thereby dropping the metal bar, killing the pig.
3) Luke bounces far enough to hit the two meteors, thereby taking out the pig on the first planet by hitting the metal bar with the meteors.
Then send Han far south into the first planet, orbit towards the on the second planet, and shoot at the last moment, to take out the entire second-planet structure + all pigs.

Luke option 1 is the most risky since both lasers remain shooting (+ you miss points taking those out…)
Luke option 3 followed by Han as described here yielded for me the highest score, eg 84,890

Potential top score, if I hadn’t messed up my second shot (y/b bounced on the bubble and didn’t burst it) if would have been 89k.

@crazy-rider Awesome shot. I bet you said some colorful things when that bubble didn’t burst. It took me a few hundred tries to replicate it, and if that’d happened to me..I’d be breaking stuff. :)

For anyone else attempting this shot, note in the video that the big boulder spins counter-clockwise and the small one is stationary. That combo matters. For me, resetting until I got the same spin combo made it easier. Otherwise you have to adjust your aim to compensate for the other 5 possible combos.
