I hope you went out and bought some AAA batteries after our announcement yesterday. Otherwise your lightsabers and blasters might not be ready for this awesome new update! Set on Kamino and Coruscant, Angry Birds Star Wars II Rise of the Clones (v1.5) is now available for iOS and Android via Google Play and the Amazon Appstore, with more platforms coming soon.
PC release: Occurred on 13 June, and includes the Carbonite Rewards (v1.3.0) and Galactic Giveaway (v1.4.0) updates! Please check those posts for more information. :)
This update includes:
- 40 new levels in Episode 4: Rise of the Clones! Per usual, these levels are split as 20 on the Bird side and 20 on the Pork side. Our walkthroughs are live if you need help.
Note: You must pick your side when you first attempt to open the episode. For example, if you choose the Bird Side, the Pork Side will unlock after accumulating 35 stars in the Bird Side or pay 700 Bird Coins. (The price in Bird Coins in 20 times however many stars you still need to unlock the side.)
- 4 new secret levels, which means two new treasure maps to find! We’ll help you find them all in our Complete Treasure Maps guide.
- 4 new gameplay characters! Now play as Padawan Anakin, Mace Windu, Jedi Youngling, and Boba Fett!
- No new hidden Bonus Boxes in this release, but maybe in the future. If you need help finding boxes from previous releases, head to our handy guide.
- 4 new achievements!
- New Last Chance Bird: If you have used your entire lineup but enemies still remain, you can summon another bird to your lineup from your stock of Character Swaps!

@all — Just want to encourage everyone to enter scores on the leaderboards, especially if you aren’t using swaps. It would really be nice if the averages were a little lower to reflect all the players who aren’t using swaps. It is true that on a lot of levels using a swap is the only way to get a really good score, but there are still some levels on which the high score was obtained without a swap.
Those with Samsung devices should access Google Play Store instead of Samsung Apps as I have tried Samsung Apps and the update button won’t show up there.

My Rovio Account is working again in ABSW2! Is yours?
yes it works now
There was a glitch for me in the form of all my bird coins disappearing in the update.
Do we know when Angry Birds Star Wars 2 is going to come to Mac? This game is probably going to be done this year I bet (all is left is Revenge of the Sith) before it makes it to the Mac.
I have put the game back on my Nexus 7 and have completed Naboo Invasion. So I might as well play it on my tablet anyways so I don’t have to worry about waiting for it to come to the Mac.
As far as I’ve heard, there is no development being done for ABSW2 for Mac.
cant start melting on PC
With the PC release I was finally able to get good quality images of the eight carbonite pack characters and updated that image of all the characters that I had originally made based on the silhouette sneak peek before the game was released. Completely started from scratch this time and threw in the Rebel Pilot and Old Obi-Wan from the first game because there was room.

Anyway of switching off the large “drop down shop” that appears every time you reload a level or go to a new one?
Very, very, irritating!!!-As if the occasional “do you need help?” pop up offers were not already an annoying distraction already!!
Don’t know about you, but if i need to go to the shop i go-do not need to be constantly hassled to do so!
Sorry-to clarify-by “switching off” I meant permanently-IE it no longer shows when reloading or changing level.
@DG47 On the front screen, click the “Gear”, then the “!” (shriek) button. This at least disables Character Hints (except for the first time a character is used). Not sure if this also recesses the shop opening by default.
It does-no “shop” !!
My sanity says thank you very much! :-)
Seems I spoke too soon. The “shop” has returned on every level, new and otherwise -and resetting via the “Gear” button makes no difference. But thanks again anyway.
Do we know if the other Angry Birds games will be updated with the same “shared account” multi-devices thing ?
The bird coins glitch was fixed recently. Now all my characters and bird coins are back.
