Angry Birds Star Wars Facebook Tournament Level 1 Week 39 – September 9th 2013

Walkthrough video and strategy for Angry Birds Star Wars Facebook Tournament Level #1 (Day 1, released on September 9th, Week 39 which began on September 9th, 2013). Our non power-up strategy is to loft Luke over the hovercraft, onto the tnt. The resulting explosion should clear all the pigs on the ground. Then fling Han Solo towards the top-left Pig-Trooper, and aim his blaster at the top-right triangular block supporting the steel wheel. The score in the video below 101,540.

This is a repeat of Level 1 from Week 13, so feel free to check out that post for additional walkthrough strategies. You’re also welcome to post new ones here.

Our Angry Birds Star Wars Facebook Tournament walkthroughs show you how to obtain 3 stars, most of the time without the aid of Power-Ups (we do make exceptions). First red below the first ship, destroyed it and pushed first big wheel so that it stuck in the middle of two towers and above TNT. Second bird below the second ship and destroyed ship and base of the third wheel with lasers. First wheel inched down to the TNT and it blow up destroying reminder of pigs. Got 104,150 with two birds.

Just have to keep trying – same as sasilik – two birds, no P/u’s, PC score 107000

110070 – aim below the first steel wheel and sabre the hovercraft. With luck, steel wheel detonates TNT and then shoot through the second hovercraft into the supporting triangle holding the other steel wheel to finish the job.

Pretty much same strategy.. but I was aimint straight at the wheel, not below it… Took about 10 tries to make it fall as intended..

After exceptionally good 1st bird I used CB TD and BD. I think i had 62k something on the score bord and only right upper flyer was left. it resuletd in 124k score. ;)
The key is to make middle TNT explode in 1st throw.. There are 2 ways to do it.
1 is sending luke on high arc into that pit ant using saber to get to the TNT. then han into 1st flyer and blaster into wheel support.

2nd way IMO is much more effective in case of great scores but harder to execute. You hav elu launch luke into lower part of the steel wheel. Activeate saber under the flyer so that you almost completely destroy it. Saber should cut the frontal vertical wood plank and the horizontal plank under the wood. The right vertical wood has to stay alive!!! The wheel lands on it damaging but not breaking it. (this part is repeatable) Then it either drops down straight on TNT… or stays that way(then han shot is harder)… OR! shifts the whole stucture to the left and detonates the explosives. Derbis should fly all around the place usually killing either everything except 1 or both right flyers.

My top score with powerups was when lauching han into far right metal derbis… In case you dont use powerups check if ther is wood left on the left side on the screen.. han pierces it perfecty))
Also aim is important as the shooting moment is. Aim for the wheel itself..If you shoot to late the upper pig stays alive. Early shooting can also result in blasters deflected into metal derbis underneeth for more points:)
