Shoot towards the top of the funnel fan thing and fire when close to it, through the chain and at the plank holding the three stones. Goal is to cut both chains and also drop the stones. First funnel will drop and suck the TNT and two stones into the structure while the other funnel and the dropping stones cause all kinds of damage. Fun to watch!
Thanks @dmsral! — Used your strat and finally got a better score than you. Must say the destruction would be a lot more fun to watch if it happened more frequently than once in a blue moon.
Is there any way to get the all the coins using only the characters given?
I sent him towards the highest point in the left wind tunnel and fired back towards to cut that chain while he continued on to hit chain holding the three stones. The tunnel fell down to suck the TNT and stone towards structure will the three top stones fell to do there thing. Now on to struggling with those darn coins. Any help?
Correction… Sent him 1/3 of the way up in the wind tunnel and NOT the highest point.
6 coins
You can get 2 or 3 by shooting through the tunnel (3rd after umpteen attempts to get blaster ricochets to take out last 4 coins. I used Yoda to get the last 3 (activate just after entering tunnel). Only needed 1 Yoda, not usually that lucky with him.
@mikeinmont — Hope this helps if you haven’t gotten them yet.
Thanks for the heads up on Yoda. It took two to get across but I have been shooting that blaster thru the tunnel a hundred times and only got one coin.
@mvnla2. I guess I need to get involved with character swaps. This is my first try. But Yoda was perfect.
@MikeinMont — Guess your avatar isn’t much help. : D
@mvnla2. He isn’t much of a shot for that little money. He hires out for the big bucks.
@MikeinMont — I couldn’t even get the first set of Galactic Giveaway coins without using swaps. Did you get them all? What about opening all the reward levels? You have to use character swaps for those that aren’t in normal gameplay. So far I’ve only used them when absolutely needed to open rewards chapters or get coins, but I can see it is a slippery slope. I noticed that I got a new personal high score when I was using a swap to try to get coins. Will probably end up reporting it, but not yet.
@MVNLA2 & @MikeinMont… I managed to get all the coins except one with the regular characters, and then used the Droideka instead of Yoda to get last one. He works just as well as Yoda and definitely not as expensive. : )
@scott20 — Congrats! Care to share your strats in the forum on coins (see link below). There were a number of bird side coins I couldn’t reach without swaps, and a few pork side. I’ve added comments on the walkthroughs for levels where I used swaps, If I didn’t add a comment, it was pretty straightforward without a swap.
BTW — The forum lists how many coins are in each level. Are you sure you got all of them? : )
I think you forgot to post the link? I can’t get the coins on this one at all and I feel stupid.
Which tunnel? I’m confused.
Destroy the level as you would with Mace(necessary to drop left funnel fan),then lob Panaka high so that he falls through the opening(middle part of the tunnel)and as he tumbles on the floor shoot at the coins.Impossible to nab the coins if you launch at the mouth(left side)of the coin tunnel, then try and shoot.I’ve had the angles measured with a protractor.
@mvnla2 I haven’t gotten all the coins or opened all the reward levels yet. Now that I have used a swap it will open the door to more adventures for me. I have been a purist up until this point. But the frustration factor has been too much. Onward and upward.
Now I will have to figure out which work where as I have a limited number of most.
Oops…it appears that I jumped out of our thread. Is there a discussion on best swap usage on the site?
@MikeinMont — Yes, check out the forums, but I will find some links for you later.
I hope you are collecting the carbonite melts, and “watching” the ads when available.
You should also make a concerted effort to collect all the coins from the original Galactic Giveaway. They are in all the levels before the Rise of the Clones, including the Reward Chapters. I would start with collecting coins.

@MikeinMont — Here are 2 more links on how to open rewards chapters:

@mikeinmont, there are a lot of us who are ‘purists’ with Angry Birds…I do not use the powerups in the other games. In SW II, I was so on the fence with the Character Swaps at first, but higher scores are possible and they are honestly so fun to play with. Finally figured out that I’d have to start swapping a little to get some of the Reward Chapters to open up. I always go through each new level to work for 3 stars without using a swap. Once I get the 3 Stars with the characters assigned to the level, I will then work for higher scores using a variety of swaps as possible, if the swaps seem to be the key anyway. Since the Swaps are allowed on the Leaderboards for SW II there is no reason to feel ‘un-pure’. ;-). Game on!
145.990 = 2* :(.
Mace Windu under the first glass shoot above the three stones+ chain + very, very!very much luck with the falling of the glasstunnel.
Important information for this level:
I am playing on my iPhone and my PC.
First, when I played with the iPhone, I could barely see the top of the tunnel no matter how much I scrolled out. I was, essentially, playing blind as the bottom 3/4 of the tunnel was off my screen. I managed to get five of the six coins using C. P. The one last coin resisted all efforts. I tried Yoda in a character swap several times. Nothing. Finally, this one coin was my absolute LAST COIN in the entire SWII game (except for “coming soon”). I did a traitor swap and used a precious Tusken Raider to get that one last coin.
Later, the PC version was released. When I got to the PC version of this level, I could see the whole tunnel, instead of just the top. I sent Yoda in and that got all six coins on the first try. I was able to fire off Yoda accurately since I could see what I was doing.
If you are playing on an iPhone or other similar device, look at this video to see exactly what the tunnel really looks like, then gauge your flinging accordingly.
I agree with @daboid implementation of this level on smart phones. Because posts up above confound the use of the word “tunnel,” sometimes referring to the fans and sometime to the passageway at the very bottom of the screen, that is how I’m going to refer to them here, “fans” and “passageway.” What daboid found using an iPhone on this level, and which I also found on Samsung galaxy smartphone, is that the key to getting the coins cannot be seen on a smart phone.
Getting all of the coins if you’re using a small screen, i.e. a smart phone you can get all of the coins if you understand what you can’t see . There is a passageway at the very bottom of the screen, and if you fling a bird carefully down the entrance in the very middle of the screen, before the bird hits the bottom of the passageway you can fire shots to the right if you’re careful and quick. And as @mvnla pointed out, Yoda is finally useful for something. Flinging him down the entranceway (from the top left down, towards the bottom right), he enters the passageway facing the right. Then activating him, he does his spinning Yoda thing and can knock out a lot of the coins. Of course you cannot see this, because the Rovio implementation on smart phones does’t allow you to see what happens in the passageway . So take it on faith when the coins are knocked out.
I really dislike this level overall. It is very challenging, but in a bad way. Using this strategy, and even doing everything perfectly again and again, the results are never the same. Chance was way too much of a factor, frustrating and not rewarding. A good strategy was not enough, good hand eye coordination was not enough, you had to repeat this again and again and hope. This level reminded me of the definition of insanity, doing the same thing over and over and expecting a different result.
I had gotten three stars on this level before, and I am re-creating an account and had to do it again. Even knowing the nuances of this strategy, I just got tired of doing this again and again , it was not fun. I repeatedly won using only one bird, and earned only two stars. My high score was 160 lousy points below the 3 star score. Finally I had had so little fun and instead aggravation galore that I decided to use the TCS strategy which is detailed other places on this site. Using it I was finally able to get three stars and move on.
I haven’t had much luck getting more than marginally above the sample score, utilizing any of the Mace Win strategies listed. What has workers (not as high of some of the reported mace strategies) is doing a swap for Han. I fling him into the upper portion of,the left tube; then as he begins making his arc downward; I fire back at the chain supporting the left tunnel. The left chain will break and ricochets will break first the right chain, then release the rocks above. Results can be unpredictable; but I made several scores in the mid 155,000 – 156,000 range, before making my current high of 158,430.
Key to this strategy is not firing until just after Han has moved past the mid-way down-facing tunnel. He needs to be moving in a downward trajectory (firing in an upward trajectory) in order for the ricochet’s to bounce back at the proper angle to sever the chain & drop the rocks.
This is a very well-thought out strategy which I found worked best for me too. And it’s not really unpredictable once you get the timing down. Kudos to you, sir – well played!
1-birder by Chopper.
The position to aim at on TNT. Most wood can fire it.
As for the point, Chopper give vent to TNT with power being usable later in an air tunnel and an upper transferred stone.
Great suggestion @thee-michelle. I improved my score by 12,000 points on my first attempt with Chopper. Thanks.
chopper, may have cleared up with Imperial Officer after (i think – as did it several years ago)

1 birder with Chopper as above. Didn’t believe there was enough debris left to justify a second bird.
