Our strategy for Red Planet level 5-14 is to launch Terence north, aiming at the junction of the lower hallow ice block with a pig and the wooden block above. Terence should be able to slice through the first tower, bounce on the bottom blue crystals and knock the east tower over the steam geyser.

I wasn’t quite able to get the first bird to destroy the far tower, but I was able to send the second bird south and bounce it off of the little raised platform above the second planet to take it out instead.
104670 – like the video. Over 100K, now I’m done with this level.
It is just plain masochistic for Rovio to put all of the pigs in boxes, especially one(s) that escape the box and drift around in that gravity field waste land between the planets.
I found that sending Terence slightly lower than on video (through the mid point between the two stars and aiming at the top of the ice block with the pig in it) works better giving scores in the 100-105K consistently.
@annach thanks for the tip! You helped to improve my score! :)
104.430 with the same strategy
The “W” factor (whine) seems to work best on this level. Unless someone shares an alternative strategy that is repeatable, it seems the only “S” factor (skill) is being able to launch Terrence eastward! :) Otherwise it seems to be all luck, no skill: mindless. muK :)
Yep. Although I like how they made something new with Space, I hate the “L” factor on all these levels. Much more than in ABO the highscore depends on several things to happen all at once, most of them being completely random and pretty uncommon at the same time.
This is a crazy level. I am going to attempt to show two screenshots with the exact same trajectory and you will see that it seems the difference in points comes from the dark black stones that happen to fall from the top right planet. Here is a screenshot from my highest score of 104560:
http://angrybir.de/OcqGLa
You will notice there are three wooden blocks left in the middle along with two ice blocks, however…if you look at the top right big planet you will notice there are 8 total black stones remaining with one falling towards the center. Now check this screen shot out:
http://angrybir.de/OcorHK
You will notice there are two wooden blocks left and two ice blocks, (less, right?) however…if you look at the top right big planet you will notice there are 9 total black stones remaining with none falling towards the center.
As you can see in both screen shots I hit the same trajectory, just below the top star and just above the middle star and got the south crystal on both…the ONLY difference seems to be the one black stone… Very odd indeed that it would make such a difference in scores…103910 verses 104560…not a huge difference in general but in AB’s world it certainly is.
@lesleyg It’s been a while since you wrote about the black stones being worth so much. (they are in other levels too as I’m sure you know now) Anyway, I was trying to up my score in this level and got curious about how much they actually are worth. I aimed directly at the two stones closest to the sling shot. Those stones are tough, the two Terences won’t even kill them, but with one or two of the laser birds, you can destroy them. It apparently depends on how you hit them because I got scores as low as 1,600 up to 2,250 I don’t know if the big ones are worth more than the small ones, but those stone apparently are worth between 800 and 1125 points for each stone.
ARGH! Been at it over an hour, used every strat…and I still haven’t even completed the level for ONE star!
I think after a year worth of updates that they have made the pig on the right planet indestructible with the first shot! I’ve over 8 hours into this and have consistently made the shot described by others and got the black balls to drop as @lesleyg mentioned but Still that one little stubborn piece of bacon bit Will Not die!! Even when his box is broken!
Whhinne
Well the ‘Whine’ factor helped i got above average anyway. But 2 birds and a long way to go for the 100 club:(
Can someone who has scored in the high 5 @beautifulvvorld @kelani @exopsco say if you’ve done anything differently to get above 107k ?
@Kathy I used @lesleyg ‘s strategy on this level. Just got a lucky break after many, many attempts. :)
Thanks @kelani I’ll keep at it:/
@sweetp another top score with no explanation or photo!
@hunnybunny, thanks for the notice. *poof*
Glad I’m not the only one thinking this. That goes for all the top scores I think. Silly level anyway 😜
