Angry Birds Space Red Planet Level 5-15 Walkthrough

Our strategy for Red Planet level 5-15 is to launch Ice Bird towards the south planet, but above the small planetoid. The gravity field of the planetoid should arch the ice bird into the steam geyser, which should redirect him back towards the TNT box. The resulting explosion should destroy most of the pigs. Use Blue Bird to clear the remaining pig if necessary.

I ended up getting it with three birds. There are a couple of different ways to detonate the TNT with the ice bird (including firing it into the middle of the large tower, but the trick shot suggested by the text is the easiest. The pig at the southern end of the right planet is a little tricky to get; I sent the blue bird around the north side of the bottom planet and split as it approached the geyser, which both took out the crystal on the geyser and knocked down the tower. Then I sent Terence into the remains of the structure on the left planet to take out the remaining pig, the debris from which luckily took out the crystal on the right planet to push me over the three-star threshold.

I’m shooting the 1st bird a little lower than horizontal under the small planet about midway through its gravity field. Volcano gives it a push it travels counterclockwise around the big planet, into the pigs and detonating to them out along with the big tower when the TNT detonates for around 50k. Having trouble finding a good 2nd shot though. 89k

It can be done with one bird. 98k
Shoot Ice through the northern hemisphere of the small planet. The bird will go straight to the blue crystal on the lower right planet. The steam geyser will push it back, over the helmet pig and land next to the tnt. When lucky enough, a one birder with two blue crystals destroyed. Enjoy!

I got my highest one birdie exactly like @sal9 describes. I got several one birdies but with scores around 95K. You definately need two cyrstals for higher scores. You can also get 95K+ scores with two birds as long as you get the crystals ;-)

Thanks @sal9. In a way this level was fun and not overly frustrating. I seemed to get the best results by shooting the ice bird as high as possible in the gravitational field and then hope that the lower tower will fall on the crystal and that the floating boulder will drop to the left planet.

I am curious, too. I got 95k with three birds, but others are reporting 98k+ with one bird. I have a hunch the TOP SCOREs of 100k+ will have been obtained with two birds. And, it seems super high scores of 105k+ are still up for grabs. Keep flinging! muK :)

One bird same strat as the video.

When I got my 100k+ score, the rock ended up clipping the tower on the left planet which knocked the pig off the tower. The lower right tower also fell over onto the blue crystal. I think in order to get over 100k one of these things needs to happen.

This is rediculus! I’ve played this a couple of hundred times now and I’ve NEVER had the right tower fall on the crystal and I’ve NEVER had the boulder hit by any debris and therefore moved onto the left planet and taking out that tower.

I’m now officially giving up on reaching average score on this level!

I’ve had the same experience as you. I wonder if the device has anything to do with it – I’m on a 27″iMac desktop. Literally 100’s of tries with the highest score being 88K+. I nearly messed my pants when I saw one “cheat” that had a board skipping around the planet and hitting the crystal…as if…or the tower falling down on the crystal. Lol, like that’s aver gonna happen. Stupid game…grrrrr

I had 3* on all, with above average scores on all but this one. My 94210 had been with 2 birds as others, but to beat average I figured needed a 1-birder.

I aimed between both gravitational fields & managed to actually get the 1st bird to pass between both planets’ gravitational fields for 97470.

I actually missed how the pig on the left fell (talking to hubby & looked up from screen). When I looked back the left pig was gone & the TNT had just exploded but I could see the “trail” left from the bird’s trajectory and it slipped through the narrow area between both gravitational fields. Since I have not read anyone else achieved theirs this way I’m going to mark this as a new strategy.

Much more damage was/is possible, but I’m so …… happy to be done with this one. Maybe it is easier to aim on other platforms, but this level on an Android phone was a pain.

I’m revisiting the Red Planet to get some scores above average, & this level was frustrating me to no end. @justpast40 thank you for suggesting this method as I wasn’t coming close to a 1-birder following the walkthrough. Your way gave me several above average scores within 20 minutes. I’ve only been able to get 1 crystal, the one at the base of the tower, I don’t think it’s possible to get the other 2 with this method but still managed 100k. I’ve managed scores of 98k without getting any crystals & debris left so there’s great potential to go higher. Thank you :)

@justpast40 Thanks for the great idea on how to get an above average score on this level, had been stuck at 92k until I tried your aiming between the gravity fields idea. got 96 k on about the 5th try !!!! No great high score but at least I’m above average, and see possibility to do even better.

Thank you so much. I couldn’t even 3-star it, had only been able to get 89K. Your method took a few tries, but finally got it – 92,770 so not as high as you others, but finally got my last 3-star and also very happy to be done with this one. I have a Mac, certainly not easier than whatever others are using.

If you split the two gravity fields EXACTLY with your first shot, it all blows up on the first bird – 94980 and three stars..

Thank you @justpast40! I finally got a decent score with your tips! Sorry to beat your score, but I’m still amazed that anyone can get into 100K range. Must be the L-factor, which I have none of. :(

Thanks @justpast40! 101k with this additional detail: Don’t let the bird slide too close to TNT and self detonate. Activate the bird manually after it bounces off the lower tower, in the middle between that tower and the structure with the TNT. This gives more damage to the lower tower, increasing the chance to get the crystal, and also seems to get the left pig more often.

To clarify @justpast40 strat: aim between the grav fields, basically right at the boulder. It’s easy at full zoom out, the dots will only show one trajectory down the middle. The left and right dot trails show gravity field curves. Despite that, you will get asucked into the small planetoid’s field, and spit out onto the right planet, detonating the TNT and more often than not, clearing the level. Crystals, not so much, and left pig, sometimes not. but at a minimum, you will get near complete destruction on the right planetoid. Nice, easy 96-97k 1 birder.

I was very frustrated with this level. I ended up 3-staring by shooting the ice bird in between the gravitational fields, barely skimming the rock, and the ice bird managed to detonate the TNT and the resulting debris manage to clear the level. 102,610. I am guessing this is probably 1/100 luck, meaning 100 repeated attempts using this strategy to get this result.

Revisiting. Couldn’t remember how I got 102k so started from scratch. Tried the between strat but couldn’t get the left pig no matter what. Moved on to @sal9 strat. This is it for me. Consistently gets all the pigs and occasionally a 100k+. Rinse and repeat I guess 😂
