Our strategy for Danger Zone level 4 is to send the Ice bird into one of the joints of the cross. Launch a Black bird around the other side of the planet and through the weakened structure. If more pieces remain, use the Ice bird to rob them of their stability. The score in the video below is 94,650.

gave the zero birder 3 tries!
first: 7hours structure stopped to collapse
second: structure crashed after 5hours but one bird didnt die (score 88810)
third: same like second but after 6 hours!
no no-birder yet!
Andreas189, keep with it, you will get one! :)
Yep just keep at it, I finally got my 0-bird last night and it was a nice 136K score (iPhone 4S). It was the first full collapse after multiple tries and many times being stuck at 1670, 1760, 4090 and other scores in-between.
Some tips for those trying on iPhone. I usually turn the brightness all the way down just to avoid any potential screen burn, I also turn off notifications and put my phone in airplane mode so no texts, calls or notifications interrupt the game as it sits there all night.
Goavs4, congrats!!! Thanks for the tip, I will use it for S&T levels, I have to play them on my phone, so thank you!! :)
Thanks for the positive note goavs4. I am getting a little frustrated waking up to the dreaded 1670. Hopefully, one of these nights!
No problem! I did forgot one extra tip though. The most common freeze point I have seen is 1670, probably closely followed by 1760, however this happens only about 1 hour or so into the run so one way to double your chances of getting the full collapse is to start the level about 1 to 1.5 hours before bed that way if it does freeze you can reset again before you go to sleep and get in 2 potential runs a night.
This is valuable advice. It happens pretty much exactly one hour in… 59 min to 63 min… If the score isn’t climbing after 5 minutes or so, it probably wont. It should rise by approx 10 per minute.
..l it seems to happen if the left pig’s upper hollow stone block gets stuck and can’t slowly move “upward” anymore.
@loox is this 10 minutes after waiting an hour or 10 minutes after starting game? ty for help:)
nice score:)
@kathy
You misunderstood me, I think. After just over an hour … Like 1hr to 1.5 hrs tops… There is a point where the moving hollow stone block gets stuck. If this happens it will most often happen at that time… Common scores when you are stuck are just what @goavs4 said…. 1670, 1760 points, etc…
If your score stays there for more than five minutes then I would restart.
The number 10 refrred to your score, not the time.. I was trying to explain that aside from some large jumps when blocks break and stuff, that your score should increase about 10 points every minute, on average. I know this because I wrote down the score every time it increased and except for large jumps around 1500 and 5000, you should see your score rise by 10 points every minute.
Put another way, if your score is increasing by 10 points per minute after the first hour then you are good. If it increases by anything you are good. What should never happen is for 5 or 10 minutes to pass with no score increase at all… Being stuck in other words.
But if you are stuck it is likely to happen at just over an hour into the level… At one of those scores usually. That is because at 55-57 minutes or so, things weaken enough to allow the hollow stone above the leftmost pig to slide on top of the hollow stone to the left of the topmost pig… Making your score around 55 minutes jump from 600 to 900 to 1100, to 1500 all in the span of ten minutes… If the stone makes it, your score will continue its journey upward and increase your score by 10 points per minute on average. OR, it could get wedged and stuck, stopping its advance upward… But when this happens it all goes down around that time.
Sometimes the stone becomes unstuck but if it doesn’t happen in the 5-10 minutes after your score stopped increasing, it probably never will. Reset.
Otherwise your score should increase by approx 10 points per minute from that point on. (the score increase is more erratic during the first hour)
Longwinded I know, but in a sentence I guess I’d say having your score slowly increase by 10 points per minute after the first hour passes is normal. Having your score freeze for more than 5-10 minutes is bad.
Srrry @loox I just got this message after question below ..ty soo.much for expaining sooo welll :)
this is a loong one and your tips give me an idea of everything to watch for I really appreciate your taking the time for this..I owe you one:) pop by the bloated pig ill buy you a drink or dinner for that matter lol;).ty soooo much
One more question. srry does antything have to do.with pigs sleeping. ?
here. goes.
good night all:) wish me luck :)
I agree loox. I was just introduced to the “Overnight Solution” and have found, as you correctly state, that the score should increase APPROXIMATELY 10 points per minute. If it is not increasing, and you’re not sure what to do, let it run for 10 – 15 minutes. If the score has not changed, it’s time to either play the level out then start again, or just simply start again. Be patient!!
4th try also one bird left! every night one try ;) and i leaf the brightness as it is and load the battery all the time! and also check ebery hour if the score is growing! and then sleep well for a hopefully 0-birder ;)
Thank You so much!
After the third try (night) without doing anything on this level I finally got the zero birder with amazing 138.180.
This shot me on rank 110 in danger zone and brought to me the long awaited score addict achievement.
@anyone How looong does this take all together ..I am at 520…does using pphone slow it down?
maybe ill shut it and start over before bed any advice will help..:).* yawn* lol I want to fling!!!
Hey, @kathy. For me it took several hours, and I never got complete destruction. Ultimately, I got enough destruction to get a high scoring one birder. I would do the overnight thing…
Funny, though, looking t some of the scores right now, maybe I will try the overnight thing, too!
Ty @DocTonyNYC
the is what I will do after reading @loox respose above sounds best;)
good luck :)
Good deal, @kathy. @loox, that is an excellent description of what happens.
It’s a little like watching paint dry.
Its funny watching the pigs yawn and fall asleep. that’s a hint I think @loox
@DocTonyNYC lol
I agree, @kathy. I can’t bring myself to read back through the 265+ comments here, but if I remember correctly, someone theorized that it is the tremors from the snoring that cause the slow destruction.
Still, my favorite pig animation so far is the eating pigs in Utopia.
I tired this again today, but kept going back and forth to other applications. The last time I re-opened it, rather than hitting the play button, I hit reset. Oops. Clearly, I use the reset button a lot and i was on remote control. Will set it to go before I hit the hay.
;l @DocTonyNYC ty for this comments reminder of wby I joined abn :) comrades and help..company. in levels ;)gonna start it in 2) minutes and sleep;)
ITA. I like the competiton, but there far too little humor in the world. My sarcastic personality has come out several times today.
I’m right behind you in restarting then bed.
Good luck @Kathy ! And even if everything stops in like the 40-50,000’s, still shoot the Ice Bird. I got my score with that, everything just absolutely blew up.
I’m looking at 1830 right now. It has been about 1.5 hours. I’m hoping that by end of work day I’ll have good news.
Been trying since April 2nd for no birder and no luck on my Samsung Galaxy (i phone at next upgrade called for I think). Ah well. At least I was top of the heap for a short time with my one birder. Think I need to attack something else now or I’ll go loopy. Not got the no-birder on Rio yet…….
which I just got. Happier with rio at the momemnt.
Came back today for another crack – to get away from surf and turf. Got my no birder second try (after nearly a month) so this one can be put to bed. :)
Well I finally got the 0-birder but I do feel guilty (almost as if I cheated). I left it on during work, and actually saw it happen just by luck. But with the Danger Zone Addict score so tough to achieve, I needed those extra 24,000 points. Doing it the conventional way, I couldn’t break 112,000 points. Who figures these things out anyway? What Rio level has the 0-birder associated with it?
Airfield Chase – last episode 10-15. Does not always work but often shows a spectacular plane crash
Ahhh, tried the Airfeild Chase 10-15, 0-birder and my 3GS locked up to the point that it couldn’t be restored. So be careful people. Apple gave me another 3GS, but I lost all my Space Scores (however the achievements are still there). My other 3 Angry Birds games are in tact. Not sure why only the AB Space scores were lost. Last backup was Apr 1. This happened yesterday Apr 20, so I’m guessing any scores earned since my last backup are gone? Am I toast? Is there any way to get scores back or do I have to start again? How do achevements handle new scores, since I would have new totals, and it’s already given me many achievements? If this is posted in the incorrect place, can you please move it to the right place or let me know where the best place to put this post is? Thanks.
I would recommend the following:
1) Restore the the last available backup.
2) Manually back up those files using our method.
3) Delete the apps from your device; be sure to delete all GameCenter information when prompted.
4) Reinstall the apps (free).
5) Play a level of each app to create the necessary files.
6) Transfer your progress back, again using our method.
Unfortunately, yes, all scores since Apr 1 will be gone.
Thanks for the info. I figured my scores were lost for good. Bye-bye 136,570 0-birder. Oh well. I’ll start again, that will be okay. And I’ll be sure to backup using your method. But I do have to get rid of Gamecenter achievements for AB Space only (I won’t lose all GameCenter achievements from all my AB games right?) as my new scores won’t match these achievements. Lesson learned. Backup daily. You never know. It’s also just a game. Need to keep it all in perspective. I’ll remove my scores from the leaderboard as soon as I transfer them to another file. I’d like to try and match them.
I also learned this the hard way with AB Seasons, I know you say it’s a game, but I still got teary eyed when my hours of work where gone. I back up nearly every day now.
I was lucky enough someone was kind enough to help me out and gave me their files. Like you I wanted to reach my score level again. So I played most of the levels (250!!) again. I didn’t delete my Gamecentre score (bit hpig-headed I guess, haha) and found that my achievements and scores staid as they where. The score’s didn’t change until I got more points on a world than I previously had. I think the Gamecentre only registers more points, not less. I hope you understand what I mean.
Good luck on you revist!
That’s happened to me to on Angry Birds Oringal
Question:
What backs up the save game file (the .lua one we can save via the third party windows/Mac program)?
Backing up an iDevice or syncing it?
Because iCloud backs up daily and I only sync once in a while. If syncing backs up the scores then I would do it more often.
I think an iTunes backup is supposed to work, but an entire system restore would be needed if necessary.
Oh.
If its in the iTunes backup file, then that takes syncing out of the equation. I’ve wondered that for a long time.
Just as long as its in the backup on our computersr. That way We can either do the full restore (from icloud or computer i believe) or pick the file out of a backup using a 3rd party utility (computer only).
I think I’ve got it. Thank you.
btw the way if you’re jailbroken, the process to move your files is even easier, but itunes restore would not be a viable option obviously.
Got a full no-birder on second attempt last night. Feel marginally guilty about it, but it’s good to increase my top score by 30k! I can rationalise it by convincing myself that I got a reasonable 3* score in the conventional way before doing the no-birder.
I tried this again last night to see if I could get the 0 birdie, but no, same as before, partial collapse then used first ice bird which gave a good hit and demolished everything…I did get a higher score of 123575 but not by much, I had before 123010.
Woke up to a 0-birder for only 117,000. How is that possible? Could it have forgotten the extra 30,000 for the 3 birds? Remember, that 136,000+ I got, is now lost forever so trying to replicate.
Haha, I have gotten even lower with zero birds. If the pigs die but the structure remains mostly intact, there are not many points to be had. You gotta bust the blocks to get the big score!
Did Rovio fix things with the new update? I have never achieved a 0-birder but was regularly getting 75K with 2 pigs left and finishing them off for low 120Ks. Now I can’t get anything past the dreaded 1630 or so.
There is still active conversation at the bottom of the page.
Ok, I am trying the 0 birder again! I think this level, if no other, will make me buy an iPod touch! I am playing this on my phone and every time my score gets to about 3k, the game closes :(. I noticed a few other comments here and there about Space shutting down on Android phones, so this must be the reason. I tried again last night, put the device on no time out, plugged in the charger and the score was about 2k when I went to sleep. Woke up and the game had closed. I am running it right now, and so far 1260 about 45 minutes in.
I have an iPod related question, hope someone can help :). I know that the older versions will not support Space, but will a 3rd generation? I see they are on Apple’s site (refurbished) and since I don’t want to spend a fortune for what will essentially be an Angry Birds device, I thought that might be the way to go. Thanks for any input.
I am going to let this thing run and keep my fingers crossed. 1280 now, yay!! :)
how do you let it run overnight on Android? The longest screen timeout I have is 10 minutes, at which time it goes into standby. I don’t see any other settings that will let it stay running longer.
@howie-k I use an app called Screebl Pro. It lets you keep your screen on indefinitely. You can find it on the Play store and Amazon app store. There is also a free version, which works just fine. It was the free app on Amazon one day, so I got it then. It is very handy.
Thanks Wanda. I downloaded it this morning and will try for a no birder tonight(and tomorrow night and the next night etc. lol)
Screebl lite worked and finally got the 0 birder last night. 130100. Thanks
@howie-k glad it worked for you! I use this app alot. very nice score, by the way. I still haven’t gotten the 0 birder on this one :(.
1. Bird (Ice Bird): Shoot him under the “planet” so that the gravity field will take him to the first structure on the left and freeze the first pig to the left and his structure.
2. Bird (Bomb Bird): Shoot him over the “planet” so that the gravity field will take him to the first structure and breaks the ice, and when he is in the middle of the structure and explode, it will kill all the pigs.
If I needed more proof, here it is- this level is PURE EVIL!! Yesterday morning,I started one more try for the zero birder, set my phone on the bookcase and went about my business. I heard a thud, but couldn’t find anything out of place until about an hour later. My phone had fallen down into my cat’s water fountain and was still playing the level. I grabbed the phone and pulled the battery, put the phone into a ziploc with rice and so far, it looks like it will pull through. I knew this level would be the most difficult, but I didn’t think it would actually attack my phone :). Of course, I had just downloaded the Fry Me to the Moon levels and hadn’t had a chance to really play them. Hopefully, by tomorrow, things will be back to normal. I just had to vent for a minute -again- and am going through withdrawal. I am so close to Danger Addict and the wait is killing me.
Anyway, hope everyone is doing well with AB Space, I can’t wait to get back to it.
No!! The idea alone makes me frightend. My iPad is attached to me ever since I started to play AB games. The Thought of not being able to play the game and check back at ABN whenever I want, almost makes me want to buy a backup iPad, just to avoid getting into withdrawal, but they are just to expensive. Otherwise I really would ;)
Hope you are getting your fix soon and your phone is okay. Hang in there!
@E-Star thanks for the kind words. All appears to be well and I am now trying to hit the mark for Danger Addict. Less than 25k to go, so hopefully it won’t be much longer! I will be glad whenever the Angry Birds Sync is up and running :).
@wanda, sorry for what you are going through! Let me know if I can help or give you info!! :)
If you need to ease your troubled mind, @wanda, come join us at The Bloated Pig in the Forum. You won’t regret it.
I think a pig killer is just what Wanda need! :)
At what point value does the collapse start happening?
Mine has been going for over four hours but is only at 3510 points so far. So far nothing has collapsed. Just wondering if there is hope or if I should just give up and try another day.
If it is still scoring points, it is still collapsing. Every ten points is a little bit of damage getting you closer to your ultimate goal!
Once it starts collapsing does it continue or just do some and then quit? Like mine finally started collapsing, but then stopped after only 1 pig died. I waited another 15 minutes but it wasn’t changing so I gave up.
For what it’s worth, it started that collapse somewhere between 4,000 & 5,000. But I didn’t see any movement after that and was tired of waiting .. I figure if it’s going to collapse all the way, it would’ve done it then?
It can end up with an incomplete collapse, yes. fortunately this consolidates the structure and you can get a very good score using one or two birds. I have scored over 120k this way.
Does anyone know how long it takes to beat the level with 0 birds?
It is extremely variable, and doesn’t always happen. Read all the posts on page 1.
k thanks!
All the wood broke in the middle with the zero bird attempt, my score’s at 49,460 none of the pigs popped, should i throw the ice bird or wait longer?
If it doesn’t start adding more points on in say 20 minutes…its probably time to throw the ice bird and probably the lazer too…you can still get a good score this way. I believe that’s how everyone explained it to me…15 to 20 minutes with no further activity will probably mean it’s stalled out? Hard to say for sure..just go with your gut and good luck! I never ended up getting the zero bird but I honestly only tried about 7 times.
Thanks I waited a while and threw the ice bird and the ice bird made the silver blocks go flying and I got a score of 119,360 only using one bird!
Great job..its usually hard to get the remaining pigs with just the ice bird so nice job. Perhaps I will let mine run over night again…why not, right!
First time to try this, I just plugged in the iPhone & let it run on a flight from Japan back to US, when i woke up after ~6 hours i had both 138k & the 30hr playing achievement. Result!
My first attempt at 0 birder on iPhone 4. Lowered the brightness connected the charger. Opened episode 4 and set on bedside table. Got 10 points immediately. Checked after about 1 hr approx 400 points (can’t quite remember was trying to sleep though it had increased). Went to sleep for 5 hrs checked the score 40,690. Checked after another hr and it was still at 40,690. Fired two birds to clear the level and a new personal high score above average of 115,180.
Oh well no 0 birder just yet.
Back to trying to beet average in danger zone. 3 episodes to go.
Will try another 0 bird attempt tonight.
For those of you in Australia happy mothers day.
Now that is interesting. I have not noticed the posting dates and time put on a post until now.
It is 07:14 AM Sunday 13 th may in Melbourne Australia and my above post has been noted with a date time stamp of 2:10 pm Saturday 12 th May.
Does this site use a U.S.A time zone.
No malice intended with this post I just had not noticed the date time display before.
Time/date only appear for registered / signed-in users.
This site is based in the Pacific time zone, USA.
Second attempt stalled at 3,250 after 5 hrs. 2 birds yeilded less than my previous high score.
third attempt overnight stalled at 73,270 with 2 pigs left. Fired ice bird for 103,610. + 20k for remaining birds new personal high score 123,610.
Will Try again tonight for 0 bird.
Have tried twice so far for a 0 birder. First try stopped around 6,000. Second try stopped at 1,670. Trying again tonight to see if I can get it, it’s now on 3,150.
Just woke up to check my results. The game had stopped racking up points at the score of 58,620. After a couple of minutes to make sure nothing was being scored, I fired the first Ice bird.
The Ice Bird literally BLEW UP the entire board, sending boards and bricks in every direction all over the one gravity field. It successfully killed all pigs and only one brick ring (that had enclosed the pigs inside) and one wooden board remained, with no debris flying into space. My score was 128,770, which more than satisfies me in terms of a score. Will be updating the leaderboards tomorrow or Wednesday.
If I see 1670 for more than 10 mins, I abort and start over. That is one kill point that is consistent.
omg i have been playing this over and over and now i’m come on here and find that there is a zero birder strategy!! aghh!!!
Yea, but I’ve been playing the zero-birder for two months and can’t get it to fly. Same thing on Fry me to the Moon level 10.
Woohoo! Finally! After at least 250 attempts… A zero-birder… Only 129K but still. Best before this was 124K on the 1 birder. What a relief. I thought I was going to be shut out forever! To everyone who hasn’t gotten it yet, keep trying!
what happened? @dougwo
Which platform? can i get it on PC?
I am on iPad. I noticed that if I run the level and don’t touch ANYTHING, it always stops at 1670. But if I fiddle a little with zoom or something first, I can get it go to the 60-80K region most times. But never all the way to zero-birder. I started this morning and put my iPad in my bag and went to work and when I looked down at it around 3PM, it was done and saying 129,610. Now I am bound and determined to break 135K. It was easy to stay in top 10 on Rio, but Space seems like there is only one way to get a top score on each level and everyone just plays a zillions times until they get lucky.
@dougwo, Congratulations. I am still afraid to try again. Last time, my phone didn’t fare too well. How long did it take?
About 6 hours. I turn the brightness down on my pad and close the lid.
It must be my day. I came home from work and started it again around 6 and at 9:38 I look at my screen and it says 138360.
115,705. Wow, I thought they got rid of those 05 suffixes. Oh well. I went for the 0-birder just like everyone else, but this ended up being a 2-birder for me. I have a 1-bird score as well, but it’s not as high. I think I will have this level on every night as I go to sleep now. I know I’ll eventually get it!
Alternate 100k+ Strategy for those preferring not to wait for structure collapse:
Fire Ice bird upward at approximately a 45* angle so that it just leaves the first gravitational field before reentering the second. The goal here is to hit the joint between the left and upper lobes of the structure, breaking through to pop center pig and freeze as much of the inner portion of the lobes as possible.(see attached screenshot)https://www.angrybirdsnest.com/members/burbman/album/picture/281/
Allow a minute or two for all frozen pieces to break, which can lead to a one bird score in the 105-110k range. If one or more pigs in the outer lobes survive, bomb bird can be directed to as close to the center of the remaining mass as possible, which will pop remaining pigs and destroy more of the stone pieces, and can yield scores in the 97-103k range.
Good Luck!
It looks like 0-birder is no longer possible after the last (Utopia) update. :( When I leave it overnight, I find it stopped at 3070 every morning now. I don’t think it is just me doing something wrong. Can anyone else try it and see if it still works or not?
I was actually afraid that was going to happen. I had put off running mine until tonight. It was a pride thing. I didn’t want to have to resort to running a 0-bird level to maintain my above average on every possible level status. So I will report back as soon as I find out. I am playing on Android. It seems to be moving a lot faster than my previous attempts. I have been running it for about an hour and am at 1900 as we speak.
Five attempts on my droid since update, all ended on a partial collapse and 12,000 points exactly and reached there a lot quicker than usual. Looks like that’s that
I did it a few nights ago, and ran it for several hours before I accidentally stopped it. If memory serves, I had reached nearly 10K.
So I tried once more. Saw the partial collapse and collection of 12,000 points (in ten minutes). About to exit when it clicked on ten points. Then two minutes later a further collapse to 15K and three mins later another to 21k. I’ll let it run a while longer to see what goes on, but it does not look as if it has been completely reset as part of the update.
That’s great, I hope that they didn’t “fix” it. To be honest, I’m not a big fan of these collapsing levels, and I would rather earn my scores by flinging birds, but when they correct problems it puts people at a big disadvantage in terms of competing with others who get tow the levels later.
Do keep us posted!
Latest run ended up at 124K so I am assuming there is no deliberate reset of this level.
Good to know that the 12k limit is breachable. I’ve had 3 attempts apparently stop at 12k and was thinking they fixed this with the latest update. I guess I’ll have to let it sit for a while still.
All — it appears as though the zero birder may have been “fixed” in the latest update. I play on an iPad and have run it three times. All three times, it has frozen at 3070 points. The same score all three times leads me to believe that it may no longer work on the iOS platforms. I will run it once more, but I am not optimistic.
Is anyone else having any better luck?
I also play on iPad and have had the same experience after the latest update ( see my comment above from Jun 9). I also came to a conclusion that the zero-birder has been “fixed”. However, some people replied that it still worked for them. I suppose Dasa51 did it on an android device. It looks like it was “fixed” on iOS devices only.
Oh well. I guess those of us on iOS will just have to work harder to get an above average score! :-)
I ran it and got to over 76k on my ipod.
With 2 pigs left I fired the birds in for 119k.
I think it is still possible.
This is interesting! Could it be that it was “fixed” only for HD version of the game?
Just to throw a spanner in the works, I have two ‘droids’ one which sticks 90% of the time at 12000 and the other which seems to go on just as normal (just got 130k no birder) – both Samsung if that makes any difference.
Also, can we use ‘repaired’ rather than ‘fixed’ – having been a copper (policeman for those not from UK) fixed has a darker meaning. Hope it’s just a random thing as part of the update and not designed (like removal of exploding santa hats in ABSG).
Probably will not be around for a few days as I have to have two molars out and a crown fitted – too many sweets as a youth no doubt(I love my dentist) and I do not expect to be able to concentrate much for a few days. What joy!
Perhaps I should have said @wrench’ for ‘spanner’ for non UK. Babbling now as Scotch has the effect of numbing tooth pain but also brain functionsssssssss
Bah, hate this, I am still getting stuck at 12K on every attempt. Have been able to get close to surpassing my current score, but I was able to get that score without any self-damage before, so that isn’t saying much.
12k in pre-collapse damage is a lot, I am suprised the entire thing doesnt just crumble as soon as the first bird touches it. Mine usually collapses at around 4k!
I should have mentioned, I play on an Android device, and the 12k is consistent. I have my phone connected to my work Exchange, so the longest I can let the screen run is 15 minutes before it turns off and pauses. I get to 12k, and I mean exactly 12,000, in either 2 or 3 cycles before it just won’t move anymore. Once that happens, no more piggie rotation, no more movement or shimmy.
Zero bird is alive and well! I have run it a few times since the Utopia update on my iPhone, and also run it since the bug fix update, still works for me.
Running on a Samsung Fascinate. I started at 11:26pm and had partial collapse resulting in 26,050 by 12:12am. I
think we still have a chance here folks.
I should add, I went from 1590 to 26,050 within three minutes.
@Burbman: How many times did you try it? And How long does it take?
@momo_hh I have let this level run dozens of times and probably only had eight or ten total collapses. Run time for me is usually about four hours, though I have had a total collapse in as little as two, or as much as eight. Every time it is a little different.
o.k trying again got 20 pts in first 10 minutes
.time now is 11:16 so say I started at roughly 11:00 will see what happens in a
m..
and I promise @Burbman I wont wake. up peeking ;) night all.gck to everyons pulling ” all nighters”:)
Gck ..lol meant good luck.srry;)
Call me crazy..but I swear sometimes there is an extra square block on the left side of the top pig..that’s when the points don’t rack up..believe me I stared at it.alll day yestereday ..well peeked lol..and was wondering why that block was different..tonighg it isn’t thete and my.score is going quicker…
Have been running it for a few days and the most points have been 3070 before the freeze on an iPad. Launched two birds for 108k. Going to set it up each night and still try for a zero bird solution. Based on the comments above there still may be “hope”.
Facing the same situation on iPad. Score @ 3050 or 3070. Can get 111k with two birds but I do not think 0 bird is still alive.
hey, just wondering, is there anyone here crazy enough to try the zero-bird on Mac or PC?
After reading other posts re: this level, and in good humor, this analogy is offered to you and all ABN fans…
“So last night I slept on the 17th tee, a 5-par. I woke up this morning with a triple-eagle without swinging a single club! Dang, am I good, or what?”
TY, Burbman, for your alt strat :)
Tried now three nights in a row, each time has stopped at 3070. For me I think the zero birder is gone!
I have run the 0 bird about 20 times now and have gotten total destruction twice. The first was my 3rd time for around 115K. The 2nd just made 131K. I use an Iphone so it looks as though there was no fix in the last update to get the 0 bird. I have to say I have had more fun watching paint dry or the grass grow. It is a very slow process. Most of the crashes happened in about 4 hours, sometimes longer. If you don’t get total destruction you can use the ice bird and even the bomb bird for still good scores so don’t quit if you don’t get it. I was able to get 118K doing this. I am now wondering if the top scores used 1 bird for cleanup on top of an already good score. Might try it now that I already have a fairly descent score. Only problem is I will have to be awake to see the final crash. Good luck!
So my 21st time yielded 137K. I actually got to see it happen this time. I was amazed how many blocks actually were left. I would guess that there was around 16 – 20 blocks with one ring fully in tact. I now believe the top scores simply had more destruction with the 0 bird. It took just at 5 hours with the score at 5760 before it popped. Some other things I did on this level was to put my phone in airplane mode & turned notifications off so the game couldn’t be interrupted. I also turned my brightness all the way down. The last thing I do is take my phone cover off & left it underneath a fan I had running anyway as it can get very hot while charging & running the game simultaneously. Don’t give up…
Easiest one to get 3 stars in so far!
Up until I signed up to the Angry Birds Nest, I had already completed the Danger Zone level and was going back to polish up my scores. Imagine my shock when I did sign up and found that there were scores in the D-4 level over 130K and I couldn’t get over 107,000 no matter what I did. THEN I read about the zero-bird solution. Wow! Some of you guys and gals are either REALLY patient, incredibly observant, or terminally sleep deprived!! I consider myself to be reasonably observant but I didn’t catch on to this without all you guys’ help. I’m going to start on an overnight run tonight and see what happens. Thanks much!
Glad the community could help @michaelwiggins!

Thanks for the responses. I have now tried the “Overnight Solution” several times. Most of them stall out at 1670 or mid-3000’s. But I DID get a stall at 57600 one time with two pigs gone. With the shot of the first ice bird I had a final score of 119170. So THAT is satisfying to say the least (raised my score by 12000). Since it’s easy to do I’m going to continue to try in order to get at LEAST an additional 10000 points.
