Thanks ever so much for your hard work! Hope your week is going as planned, I am having a very productive start of the week actually. just finished my report on my big adventure to Finland! Just working out the fine details, but I expect it to come online either in a few hours or tomorrow (my evening).

I couldn’t get a good destruction with the 2nd shot like the walkthrough. Here is my 2 bird strat for 123k

First bird – just like the walkthrough. Key to getting an extra 3k is to make sure the boulder stays within the gravity field and crashes into the planet.

Second bird – Aim to just barely skim the gravity field of the closest planet. The key is to have orange go to the left of the boulder between the 2 pigs. Activate just before the boulder so the boulder takes out the upper right pig and sends it into the planet. Orange should send the left pig and debris to the left to take out that last far left pig and the left planet.

If you send the first bird pretty much straight ahead, it will destroy the large crystal planet if it bounces at least three times, which happens most of the time. Don’t hit the orbiting pig; if you do, the planet won’t explode. A small shard usually pushes the right arm of the upper spaceship into the gravity well of the adjacent small crystal planet. If the pig orbiting the large planet is destroyed by a shard, running into a boulder, etc., this will only give you a score in the 9-10k range, versus the 12k or so you can get with the walkthrough’s first shot. However, if you time the destruction of the large planet correctly, launching red when the orbiting pig is at about 6 o’clock, that pig will drift into the gravity well of the upper small crystal planet, damaging or destroying the right arm of the spaceship that’s now there, giving you a score in the 13k range.

The second shot all depends on where everything comes to rest between the two upper spaceships. There is generally a large shard from the first planet, and it may push the small boulder into any of many possible locations. If it’s on the high side, you may have to expand orange bird to push it into the upper spaceship, which can give you a decent score, depending of course on what happens with the other two. If it’s very close to or up against the middle spaceship, then push them together to the southwest, and rely on the gravity of the upper crystal planet to eventually pull the other spaceship in and destroy it.

I got 127k on one of my very first tries, but could not get over 122k or so on hundreds of subsequent attempts. I then came here and found that I was fourth, but no one mentioned my first shot as an alternative. So I went back and tried the walkthrough method for a while with no success, and then went back to my first shot. I’m not sure just how I got the high score, but I think that it was when the boulder came to rest against the middle spaceship. Then orange bird shoved both the spaceship and small boulder into the gravity well of the large lower planet, taking the two large boulders above the planet with them, and just nudging the right arm of the lower spaceship into the gravity well of the lower crystal planet, causing it to explode and send the remnants of the spaceship into the lower planet. The score at this point was about 90k if I recall, but the small pig on the upper spaceship still survived, and the wreckage of the ship was gradually rotating around the planet. I knew that could take a while, so I put my phone down and got lunch. When I came back, I found that the upper crystal planet had apparently exploded and probably pushed any remnants into the large upper planet to account for such a high score. I was too late to get a picture of the total damage, but I did get a screenshot of my score, which is in my album.

Your English is quite good. I had not noticed that you were not a native speaker. It’s certainly far better than my Deutsch. @comex666 This is on an unrelated topic, but since this is our most recent exchange, I’m sending it here. I just finished repeating Space Mirror World for the last time, and it showed that I ranked 15th, which is as high as I’m going to get. When I looked at the leader list, I was surprised to see that you were only 8th, but then I saw why: you haven’t posted any scores in four levels. Even if you only come out a little above average, you’d be in 4th place, and if you perform up to your normal standards 2nd place (and maybe even 1st) is within reach. I’m sure that you would pass the legendary Rat, who unfortunately is no longer with us or he’d still be trying to regain the lead.

@snoid I used your strategy with one difference after the second shot their was a pig still attached to arms on each of the two small crystals. Both arms were moving around the crystals. I just sat my IPad down and went to dinner when I came back the level had ended. I think both crystals must have exploded causing a lot of damage. Hope this helps

It sounds like the only real differences between our best attempts were (i) I only had one ship circling a small crystal while you had two, and (ii) you stopped for dinner and I stopped for lunch! I think they rack up points while they go around, hence your higher score. I suppose that someone could possibly beat it, but I’m not even going to waste my time trying. I had been expecting to get the “new sheriff” email because @rat9 had come to retake the lead, but now I’ll just wait to see if he can take it from you!

1st shot horizontal on nearest left planet. Planet explodes and timing is such that orbiting pig goes toward top planet (unsure it can land on it). One debris pushed one arm of upper contraption on top planet.

2nd shot on middle contraption. When done correctly, makes upper contraption of land on upper planet, and other contraptions to land on leftmost planet. 50-55k at this stage.

Then wait. Left planet has too much crawling debris to survive. It explodes, and if lucky all contraption parts are sucked into permanent gravitational fields. 110k at this stage if everything falls somewhere, with upper contraption still there and previously orbiting pig nearby. It does not seem possible for upper planet to explode spontaneously, alas.

Last two birds as cleanup. 3-birder is possible but I fumbled it so I had to use both for 143k. A 150k three-birder is possible I think but a one-day challenge is too short for this as waiting time is too long and does not allow many attempts in a single day.
