playing the challenge, twice got all cleared @fenikus strategy and one into the pack all yielding about 118k can’t figure out were the extra points are coming from. had 124k from years ago but can’t remember how.

I had a pretty decent score by aiming between the two faint stars just inside the gravity circle, then I manually exploded him shortly after impact as he came in just lower and left of front pig… but your way got me much better scores…Top Score (for now) so thank you!

Sorry about bumping you my friend @bernersenn…now you’ll have to come back and try and take your spot back :-)

@fenikus your strat is a winner! Sorry @steely59 @lesleyg for joining in the sheriff battle. I had nothing but a part from one of the pig bubbles left in the middle, but the lava on the south asteroid was still intact, so it seens like 130k might be possible on this one.

I’m also adding a big thank you @fenikus !!! After about half a dozen Android phone flings, I too got my 1-birder for 127440. After launching, I’d turned my attention to try it on my iPad, so I didn’t see everything on the phone screen. The last I saw, the middle was gone & the southern bubble pig was being pulled into the middle, but the southern fiery asteroid was still intact. I wish I’d been watching more closely for the explosion, I don’t think it could have exploded, but I wasn’t expecting the score to be this high (not that I’m complaining), so perhaps it did

131k with @fenikus‘s approach. I got the chain to drag the lower bubble into the bricks and a glowing ember blew up the last of the bricks. I did not detonate the lower lava asteroid.

Thank you @fenikus for your alternate strategy and video. During my revisit, I just had to try this again, after failing to get over 124K previously. A few resets and it finally worked! I’m done with this level and not looking back, yippeee!

Good approach @fenikus. But don’t forget the other boulder group, and that cable between the pig bubbles is worth over 10k by itself. I see scores over 140k before we’re done with this one.

@fenikus Your video shows parts of the tubing intact as well as a light. I had no debris left. I also had more of the lava bits from the boulder explosion go into the gravity field. I thought I had put my strategy in here. Oops, I forgot. I will rectify that.

Have to take my words back – with the strat from @fenikus this game is much more predictable. Didn’t made it yet, still got 121k with 2 birds. This way, this game equals #14 in ABR BR #14.

Was flying back home from SFO and the plane had no entertainment, so all I did was play this level until my battery ran out. I though 130K was average, and what a surprise to find out I had the #2 score (for now). My strategy was pretty much what @feninkus wrote (and here I thought I had something new). I did notice the metal wire connecting the two pigs went into the atmosphere very late (along with the bottom pig) and all blocks were destroyed. Being I hadn’t gotten over 121K, I’m guessing that wire added major points.

@smonard88 It really does. Each tiny segment of that wire/cable/jose is worth 340 points. Destroying the whole thing makes all the difference.

These boards would make a great cure for narcissism. For every ingenious strategy you discover, someone’s probably posted it already. :)

I’m trying to match but your background is quite different as far as star placement. .and my lava boulder just won’t fall properly:(

First! Kudos to @fenikus. He was my inspiration for this strategy.

It’s a variation of the Fenikus strat, but instead of going past the boulder group, activate at about the 10:00 o’clock position. This will slowly push the lava boulder into the pig bubble and then fall into the gravity field. Since the lava boulder is now pointing towards the cubes, instead of out towards Space, you get better destruction and more points. If you pushed the lava boulder correctly, the hose will get caught in the gravity field and pull the remaining pig bubble with it. I wasn’t able to get that last boulder group. Someone will be rewarded with a 140k score when they succeed.

Thanks for sharing how you got your amazing score, @Rat9. Interesting, I’ve been avoiding lava side first into cubes shot you’ve described because I could never get results with it. Will have to try again.

I’m less optimistic about 140K scores than you, though. The lower lava rock doesn’t get that many points on its own…if you hit it with Chuck, it yields less than 1K without hitting anything and there just isn’t much stuff leftover for it to hit. Then again, I didn’t think much more than 132K was possible on this level and you’ve proven me wrong. Well done.

I could not make sense from @rat9‘s strat, so I used @fenikus‘s one.

I found a more or less repeatable aiming point that allowed some debris from first cluster to ignite lower one. From time to time debris from both clusters popped the two bubbles, and much more uncommonly, the chain was sufficiently shaken so that one of its edge ends up in being sucked by gravitational field. What happens next depends on how efficient inner square stuff explodes after being hit by fiery debris. For my almost 138k top score, I could notice that the explosion was somehow delayed by several seconds after those debris “landed” on structure, although I cannot tell whether it was the cause of the subsequent very high score. One stone square survived to the explosion, as well as the two red lamps, which were outside the gravitational field. Whether or not all those can be destroyed together so as to reach the 140k barrier predicted by Rat is unknown to me, but 138k is certainly possible (I shall mention that my strat almost never destroyed any of the two lamps).
