Angry Birds Seasons Winter Wonderham level 1-11 was first available on Tuesday, December 11th, 2012. Loft Stella high, so that she lands on Moustache Pig, through the gap between the top ice block and the tallest tower. With a little luck, this should detonate the tnt and clear the entire level. Use a second bird if necessary to destroy the remaining pig. The score in the video below is 148,510.
Bonus! Our Winter Wonderham level 1-11 Mighty Eagle walkthrough is live as well!
I sent the first pink bird through the snow block at the bottom right. TNT blows up and takes out everything to the left of the big fat pig. Second pink bird through the pulley lines holding big fat pig, everything else goes too. Score 142,030
I’m using a slight variation on the 1st shot under the snow, detonating as it hits the snow square in front of the TNT. This causes the bubbles to pick up the TNT and it explodes in the air throwing the debris into the blue ball tower much more violently, usually resulting in much more damage.
Clever – while this does not result in any more points it is a better way of approaching then just firing the bird into the snow.
@all — Please post any data on self-destruction on this level in forum on self-destroying levels:
So far 2 different modes described.
Would like to get data on
number of points
frequency of occurrence
length of time after restart
description of destruction, including what to look for.
After many-many restarts, I actually saw tower fall to left, but didn’t completely wipe out left side, in fact, only 7650 pts. Happened quickly (a few sec), but maybe ~1/100
The 2nd tower with the blue ball. The top four elements fell left. The ball survived. 2450 points.
This time, the 2nd tower top, and part of the far right tower fell for 5500 points. It happens very fast after a restart. I don’t have a frequency of how often.
Again the tower with the blue ball fell left. This time it took out the shorter tower below it. The TNT did not blow. Part of the far right tower again fell right. Points that time were about 12K.
One last time. It seems to be very sporadic in frequency and in what falls. This last time it was again the blue ball tower going left and took out a lot of the left side for 26K. SThe TNT didn’t blow again this time.
I have even seen that little flat piece of ‘wood’ on the upper left of the swinging pig’s box flip up and land vertical on the top of the ‘stone’ vertical beam next to it for 50 points.
@mvnla2 this happen to me on about the 18th restart, also leaving a big pile of debris on the left, not many points..
@mvnla2 I got 5810 points when the tower with the blue ball slowly leaned over and fell to the left. This happened after about two dozen resets.
Hi my name is mzmynah and I am an angrybirds addict.
If you wipe out the first 3 towers on the left by diving through the snow block on the left (wait a really long time to see if blue ball tower implodes, taking out everything but the swinging pig and right side).
If you can wipe out all three towers with one pig, plus lots of debris…
The underside of the swinging pig is glass, so if you leave enough debris there you can wipe out the whole right side by detonating the tnt on the lift.
Should be a two-birder. Got it once for 149110.
First bird hits the top of the top vertical stone bar in the second tower from the left. This wipes out everything to the left. The second bird should be run through the pully lines and will in most cases wipe out the rest of the pigs. Topscore: 152.000 this way.
One bird as described in the video 146,650. I launched the bird, then my wife asked me a question. After answering I looked back and saw the level was done. I didn’t even get to enjoy the destruction.
For PC users, if your screen is like mine, there is a single white dot directly below some darker dots under the left side corner(not directly under) of the block the sling is on.
Put the tip of index finger of that stupid hand just to the right(or nearly so) of center of that dot. That should get pinkie through the gap in the top like the video shows about 7 out of ten times.
Yahoo. 152k with two birds… Same strategy
got this score hours ago but waited for challenge… Even higher is possible.
And what strategy is that if you would be so kind?
See my post in first page. I followed that
I should really like to hear from peeps who have a score of 150k+ to find out how they did it please…
I’ve been at this level for hours now, have tried every technique/video available, random fling shots, you name it, yet with two birds I can’t get passed 147210, and on the one occasion that I did manage a one birder, the score didn’t even register 3 stars – so pray please, reveal all peeps as I’d love to know how you managed it.
leggy I will try to help but like most of thes episodes it depends on the fall. One birders do not give you a high score, having tried many different ways this has been the most consistant method of giving 150+
Bird 1 high arc between the gap of tall tower and fixed ice breaking the first rope hopefully this will topple the tower, do not worry about score at this point.( If tnt doesn’t blow it may go on the 2nd shot)
Bird 2 you need to aim for the 2nd rope do not activate bird if you can get a clear though shot sometimes the bird will drop down and lift some of the stone below which causes extra damage.
Hope this helps.
@ftdrew – thank you so much for your reply. I’ve been at this level for near on 24 hours and I don’t know if its an android issue, but I just can’t get above 142k using the high arc method. A few new videos have now been posted, including one from yuriyigolkin, but even his/her technique is proving difficult to master for this level. On the good side, I’ve gotten my high score to 148830 now but I so desperately want to hit the 150k mark…guess I’ll just have to work harder eh ;)
This is one I definitely have to read all the comments when I revisit this level, I have a one birdie but it landed me only 147100 and according to my leader board there is at least 10k extra somewhere :D
Here is my video of the one birdie!
Same trajectory as E. Slightly more damage resulting in a 151,880 total. Destruction happened in same sequence as video as well but I think more damage took place to he left side, clearing out most of the wood.
@e-star…!! My favorite bird with Santa’s hat… :D
Wooo-hoooo! I got a one-birder just like yours @e-star, after lobbing Stella a few times to get the precise angle. It was fun watching everything fall apart after the explosion and seeing there were no stinkin’ piggies with the evil grins blinking back at me! Got 149,120, but as you say there’s an extra 10K somewhere. Maybe I’ll see if I can get some self-destruction for a headstart. Haha!
158140 with one bird.
Indeed 10k extra were available ;-) Thanks for the video.
Here is the final result.
And the highscore screenshot.
As a side note I struggled for 5 days on the previous two levels, and for this one the top score was obtained after 15 minutes. Go figure…
Lol @asher guessing precise one bird shot is easy with gaming mouse!!!
@hunnybunny: easier maybe, easy certainly not ;-)
One birders are notoriously flimsy…
15minutes! Took me more than a week to almost get past your score – as you said “Go figure”
Anyway next level. Merry Christmas
160700/1 with that in little time, shortly after getting 158k/2 by lifting the remnants of tower right next to the pit, so more in it. up from 151k on which i had spent some time, so seems easier than before (stones more brittle?).
Nice Shot @vuelva !!! I don’t think it’s easier at all – I am about to invoke Tuesday’s Whiiiine!
@knichy just tried it again for 10 minutes, and still think it’s easier and easy. i get the 1st through the gap between the tower and the ice 1 in 3 by taking aim via the relative position of the sling strap and the node on the sling (on ipad with fingers; so better if you have a pc). my goal is to lift the whole cage (skew; does not happen in the video) so that the tnt explodes and it falls down, and hope for the best. lifting the whole cage requires that the bird comes close to the stone slabs, which can be achieved in several ways, one being that the bird breaks through the small wood, but all needing luck. (even if that does not happen and the cage does not drop, 150k+/2 is possible. this time got it by sending the bird just over the cage against the tower, after which it should fall down low before being activated). good luck.
Thanks for the tips @vuelva – i’ll just keep flinging, just keep flinging …
BTW I use birdwear on this one, Stell has this silly long horned Viking hat. If you pull her down until the very tip of the right horn is reduced to one pixel or just ever so slightly disappears, she drops in the gap almost every time unless the tower leans to the right.
I just hardly ever get that center TNT to go.
I got a pretty good one birdie by going through the top gap as many others but with an unconventional twist of fate ;-) Only the left string of the pully broke (like many times before.) However, the funny thing is, when the left side tnt exploded, one of the green piglets went flying up in the air and went right through the right string! The tnt and mustache pig dropped and the explosion cleared the level!!! I bet I couldn’t do that again if I tried, lol ;-)
Okay I have a different strat similar to @austinrhl that yielded a 1 birder but if not great can still give great 2 or three bird scores.
1st pink Nearly flat shot over the first tower passing *THROUGH* the tip of the very first light bulb hitting at or on the wood below that vertical stone plank. Yes the bulb has no substance but the wire its attached to does! The key here is to keep resetting till you see a bit of a gap between the stone plank and the horizontal stone block. If you hit the wood then pinky will break one or both wood planks coming to rest just near the lower left corner of the cage. The main point is to cause the top half of the second tower to fold left while pinky’s bubbles are lifting. Everything went and debris broke the glass of the cage. I quit early but with patience for the resets to let the gap happen as @lamia said would be ideal.
@swelld…you are indeed my savour and friend for life, thank you so much for posting this technique, I have finally after about 36 hours gotten the big 150k, thank you thank you thank you :)
You are indeed welcome!
@swelld again thanks for the alternate strat, much easier and I’ve improved a lot, haven’t managed the one birder yet, still trying to hit the 150k range , but my sanity has been restored after trying to get blue into that top gap for hours on end, happy i came across your post :D
First day aiming a top tiny gap – most consequence point of impact was … an left blue corner of hanging icy rock ;). If they gave a medal for it I’ll be record-holder. I was trying many ways: by ice underneath first tower / by blue bauble flatter arc catching. Never mind, it’s ended with 137,5K.
3rd day at this level, short time each ones play. This look so it’s good method, not only there. Start an level, go to nice score, rised a bit, stop, go away, to return later (and so on). Today I rised +7K to 144.600 by classic top way. No so bad score lift but 232 under an adverage. I’ll be back.
Used the ABN video of high arcing and landing into the ropes of the pulley. The explosions just took both sides out. It seemed the explosions had more intensity or they occurred simultaneously with destruction greater than viewed previously for the same shot. Maybe a sweet spot somewhere in the big pig area.
Because I had such a hard time landing the bird as in the video I went another route (sorry if this has already been documented):
I seemed to have better luck tossing the first bird ever so slightly above and/or through the small square on the first tower then through the lights. If you’re lucky the bird will destroy towers 1 and 2 and most, if not all, of tower three (counting from the left). Then I tossed the second bird through the two ropes which cleared out the rest of the level.
One of the keys to this is making sure the helmet-wearing pig in the bottom center gets destroyed. I managed many scores over 140K using this strategy.
I had great success with a two-bird strategy. First shot like in the video, but somehow the pink bird cut both ropes of the box with the big pig. the bubbles didn’t do much, but the box fell down and the TNT exploded. All remaining was the little tower right of the middle (that fell last in the video). Threw the 2nd bird againts the tower, ignite on impact. The floating stones destroyed some of the remaining debris for a 154k score.
What sweet self-destruction I got after only a dozen goes at the challenge:
After which I proceded to take advantage of it. And did I ever? Well, shortly as possible, absolutely not! I failed my dear Stella utterly, completely and inexplicably :'( (That is, I have no desire to explain it)
As a result, my contribution today is visible proof of devastating self destruction for what it’s worth, @sweetp, @mvnla2.
My experience exactly @micromax. 3 times I’ve had the partial self destruct and then failed with Stella to take advantage. My current 150K is with 2 birds, but without the tall left tower leaning to the left. Also had several one birders but disappointing scores. Sigh 😔
E-Star strat. Red tower pig still left.Lifting remnants and dropping it to the right – almost top score (if you don’t count @vuelva )
