Our strategy for Angry Birds Seasons The Pig Days Level 2-5 is send Stella into the first pigs, and trigger the bubbles upon impact. Then drop the bomb bird on top of the main structure. Finally, detonate the tnt with chuck. The score in the video below is 130,430.
Note: “Don’t you Remember, The Fifth of November” This level marks Guy Fawkes Night.

There are a lot of points in destroying as much wood as possible. I used Stella to clear as much wood away from the closest TNT. Then the bomb bird as close as possible. Everything destroyed in the ensuing chain reaction. Nice way to celebrate the man who tried to blow up Parliament.
That’s how I did it, but with 3 birds. Stella above the first vertical wood to clear the path. Then a nice chain reaction on the whole right side with the Bomb Bird and a slightly lower trajectory. And finally Chuck into the left side of the horizontal stone plank above the last remaining pig. 166k
@mg516 Nice strategy, thank you.
I used 2 birds. Pink bird to wood pile, opening up a bit of a channel. Black bird into the channel in wood pile. Boom…..flying debris set off the TNT, on both right& left sides. 161k.
Same strategy for me but haven’t managed a two-birder yet.
I think this might be the strategy that got me 171K on a two birder. My aim for Stella is the triangle under the three planks. I follow the exact same path with BB. If the TNT in the woodpile lifts and explodes on contact with the ground, this should set off a chain reaction. The TNT on the left seldom explodes, but when it does, there
isn’t much left.
followed the same strategy. Stella to open a pass then Bomb. I used also Chuck.
Alternative 2 bird strategy.
PB into first pig. You want the TNT encased in stone slabs to be lifted and dropped onto the wood at the left of the bonfire to clear enough wood away so your second bird detonates the TNT in the bonfire and sets off the same chain reaction described by @mg516.
This is how I did it as well @pauliboy. Was your 170k score doing it thus way? I got 163k
@captREC yes, those were the shots I fired for 170k. In fact, I cleared all the pigs with the first shot, because the Guy rolled off the top and into the pig on the right of the wood, and then toppled the structure on the right scattering fireworks and destroying some more of the wood in the process. But there was still a lot of wood so I detonated the TNT before the level timed out.
Thanks @pauliboy! Great score! I’ve had Guy wobble but not quite fall. May not matter since, as you say, the big scores come from obliterating as much wood as possible.
This has never worked for me. Regardless of where I pick up the TNT, it either explodes long before traveling to the wood pile or doesn’t hit the pile in a spot that clears enough wood to allow the bomb far enough in to set off the chain reaction. It’s not like the chain reaction is leaving birds behind – I’ve NEVER seen the chain reaction. Not once. Ever.……Ever. I’m SO sick of 99 flings out of 100 blowing up the TNT mid-air and then the 100th fling not clearing enough wood. I’m a decent enough player that I should have happened upon this once if even out of blind luck. Is this happening for iPhone players? Is there something I’m missing? I’ve watched the @e-star video a dozen times and read all your descriptions but it just will not happen. Beyond frustrated. Ready to throw phone. If there is some sweet spot that hasn’t been described previously, someone please put me out of my misery!
First shot like the video, but I try to pick up the TNT and drop it on the wood pile. Key is to expose the two vertical blanks for the second shot. Only 157k with two birds, but the back TNT on the cart didn’t go off.
off topic: @AMslimfordy @birdleader first video from the winter update for seasons:
Stella into the angle between the hollow triangle on the left and the three planks. This will open up a sort of gap or notch. Fire the black bird into that notch. It will destroy much of the woodpile and everything else. Then use the yellow bird to clear everything up.
Can’t believe I just got top score! Pink lifted the left TNT into the bonfire which created a small gap in the middle. Threw black bird into it and exploded on impact. This set off both bonfire TNTs, which sent the wood flying to the right, igniting the remaining TNTs and setting off most of the rockets. I was happy to see a score of 156k + 10k bonus, but then I realized I hadn’t used my third bird and had TWO bonuses. So much fun when everything falls into place.
Thanks for the strat @purplepaws. If you can get Stella just over the front pig and lift the TNT into the woodpile you can also create a gap for the bomb bird. I haven’t managed a 2 birder yet, but definitely see the potential for a high score this way.
@admins – I know this is rather late, but it just occured to me that I may be eligible for an underdog badge. I wasn’t following the challenge at the time, but being that the pattern seems to be featuring the previous day’s level, I realized I may have posted my score during the correct time period. Is there a statute of limitations on requests? Do I even qualify? If so, I can provide a screenshot. Thanks.
@purplepaws Our challenges are currently for the On Finn Ice Advent Calendar.
@amslimfordy – Yes, I know. I am referring to the score I posted on Nov. 6. I believe there may have been a challenge for this level going on at that time. If you check past challenges as well as the time stamp on my score, it can easily be verified (if my hunch is correct). Can you only make requests during the actual challenge period?
@purplepaws we haven’t had any Challenges from Pig Days yet, as the levels are fairly new.
@karen68 – Oh, okay. Thanks for settling that. I thought I had seen some awhile back and was noticing a pattern, but I guess I was mistaken. Now I feel a little stupid, but at least I won’t have to wonder.
@purplepaws during my revisit I played like this way. Worked terrific. Thanks
@terribletom and others have used pick up triangle and follow with black bird. This play is so much easier than transport tnt to the pile strategy that has rewarded the top score by @purplepaws
Top scores are with 2 birds, I am still with 3 and therefore my score is lower. I recon pick up triangle, it’s easier than the video and gives you better score. I like to add that manually detonated black bird works to me better than waiting it to explode. This directs debris towards right and increases changes that furthest tnt will explode. Unfortunately the pig and tnt at left are left to third bird.
Is there a wiki about scoring in Seasons, I’ve notice that double tnt explosion inside the wood pile scores noticeable more than doing similar carnage with two separate explosions. Is there a multiplayer or is my carnage estimates just off?
Hmm…interestingly I did not get this update on my Android tablet. I’ve completely exited Seasons, restarted my device, but did not get this level. And the padlock on the menu screen says 3 Days.
Anyone else on Android platform have this problem?
Hi @sweetp, I don’t know if this is happening to you, but when I first looked at the (tiny) screen on my i4, I thought it said 3 Days also. But then I put on my glasses and could see that there was a little white ghost or something that was hard to make out – and that was the active icon (just below the 3 Days). Maybe this is happening to you?
Thanks @steinbird, I think you’re referring to the Day of the Dead level 2-4. The white skull icon is directly below the “3 Days” so that’s what I think you’re seeing. Anyway, I hope I get this update soon! In the meantime, I think I’ll send a message to Rovio.
lol I never even knew about these levels on seasons till I seen it on here 1st….I kept thinking the pig days?????????? I thought it was just seasons 2011-2015 so thanx guys for letting me know bout these extra fun levels…lol don’t know why I missed it it has pig days with flashing going around it doh..lol silly me
I tried both methods mentioned in the above comments, picking up wood from the pile and picking up the TNT on the left. For sure a tricky shot, but I got better results when I managed to pick up the TNT than I with picking up the wood. So I stuck with the picking up the TNT. NOTE, there is a moving debris here as well! The firework on the left will start moving when there is a stone piece on top of it ( you can see for yourself in my video). This helps with breaking down a bit more of the left side of the pile of wood. Bomb bird in the pile as far as possible. It blew everything up and I got a score of 167540.
Here is my my video.
Thank you for the video, @e-star. I spent 2 weeks trying every strategy here, but finally got above average 20 minutes after watching your video.
Happy to hear my good vibes I try to pack in the videos do result in some good fortune for the watchers. 20 minutes is indeed sweet after trying for 2 weeks. Happy flinging @annem302
I just scored 191,670 points by following the @e-star video, with one minor adjustment. I aimed the Pink bird slightly lower than in the video, just under the horizontal stone piece, activating as she passed thru the tophat on the far left pig.
For once, the dropped tnt left a good opening in the woodpile. It seems that to get the tnt’s in the woodpile to detonate with great force the bomb bird needs to land almost level with the tnt’s.
The rockets, from the far right side, also did a lot of damage. Two birds were left unused.
@sweetp – Tally screen;
Good luck & happy flinging to all !!!
Congratulations @meanguy on your High Score and new Puppy!
I like everyone else above tried to lift the tnt box on the left side. I rolled pink bird under the pig with the top hat hoping it wouldn’t activate the tnt box. About one out of twenty times it worked. Had one time where it worked and the bomb bird destroyed everything else. Obtained an above average score but not a high score which was ok.
