Our strategy for Angry Birds Seasons The Pig Days Level 2-6 is to fling the piggy at the base of the main structure, then work your way to the right. The score in the video below is 263,380.
Note: This level celebrates the Ahtisaari Days, for the former Finnish President.

Yes, 249k is 2 stars, 250k is 3 stars.
Interesting idea: birds and pigs are on the same side, all conflicts are resolved (in the spirit of Ahtisaari Days). Looks like the goal is to destroy all the weapons.
I got 285050 with 3 birds ;-)
I sent the first Pig to the top near the stove. It exploded and took out a lot of the top.
Second, BB low to the bottom to get through the swords.
Third and final Pig to the tnt’s. To my surprise, everything exploded! The canon and all the back blew off the right edge. I was expected the pig to be able to do all that ;-)
I was prepared to throw in another BB but there wasn’t much left:

Same strategy used by @lesleyg. This level requires some luck for points made by debris.
First use the first two to break down the main wall and explode the TNT. The next pig knock down cannon. Use the bomb bird to destroy what’s left
Can be done with two shots and a bit of luck. First shot to the left hand side just above the two vertical supporting pillars should bring down the whole left hand side. Second shot to the four thin vertical slabs next to the TNT and detonate when it reaches the bottom, with luck debris can cause the right hand structure housing the cannon to collapse.
@newcybroon,
2 birds (or is that 1 bird and 1 pig?) is possible. I was able to get 291k with just 2.
The first one yielded about 78k, but the bomb bird was able to detonate the tnts and send everything over the right side. There is some debris left but not sure it would be enough to get over 300k

I got 267k with all six birds/pigs and no debris left so you can do the math on that for the approximate score maximums with fewer birds. The debris keys seem to be to have as much go down the front hole or roll off the back ledge.
@newcybroon After many attempts this week, I did finally get over the 290k,, using your strat.. I originally was shooting for the top left side, and was in the 275-278k range that way. There was some debris left, but what I could see was not worth wasting a bird!!
This is downright embarrassing, my birds & pigs are getting along so nicely that neither is aggressive enough to cause the excessive damage I’m seeking with just 2 shots. My best is 4 shots for 278410 by attempting to shoot as @newcybroon. My 2nd shot to TNT is causing a lot of damage, but I just can’t get the cannon to explode.
I agree with @newcybroon. Can be done with two. I had my best luck with manually detonating the bomb bird before it gets to the bottom. I think you need the structures to be bounced to the right when you detonate, I.e. Don’t let it settle back down before you give it the push right.
I used the 1st 2 shots as @newcybroon describes, but have never managed a decent 2-bird score, the bomb has failed every time to push everything off the right side or even cause a decent collapse.
I used the 3rd bird/pig, there was some damaged debris remaining on the platform so I aimed the pig left of the middle, through the debris & he did the Terence-bowling-ball routine, plowing into the cannon & pushing everything over the right edge.
I agree with @karen68 and @elcapitan below. It’s hard to score over 290k with two birds, with three you can clear most of the debris and top 295k.
Hi @karen68. For the challenge today, I managed to get 252,980 with 2 birds, so thought I’d get a total of 292k+. But the points didn’t add up, and there was quite a bit of debris left, including 1 sword at the end. So I sent Terrance to do his bowling ball routine and clear what was left. As soon as he took out the sword (3,000 points), the points started to tally. Silly me! I hadn’t realized until then that all the swords had to be destroyed for the level to end. Anyway, jthe debris points made up for it and I got a total of 293,700! If the sword had been destroyed with everything else, the 2-bird clear would have been worth 295,980.
Mine was with 2 using @newcybroon strategy, it is the only time the rhs has tumbled over the edge so luck was with me. Thanks for posting @newcybroon
@peejaydee27 nice score! I didn’t realize about the swords either, and I think you have to destroy the cannon as well for the level to end.
My bowling skills must be rusty, I’m having no luck with that shot today :(
Did mine the same way. Thanks for posting @newcybroon. The key was to destroy all the swords. The right side usually falls to the right off the platform. Got lucky once with a lot of destruction.
277k with two birds…first to the two vertical supporters at the bottom and smash the first of them…bomb bird at same point and let him roll through the three swords and 2 o 5 times it will explode the tnt’s as well…rest is a bit of luck and debris
Three birds.
1st. Terrence (piggie disguise), timed to hit vertical stone pillar clean with drawbridge out of the way. Hit the stone pillar at the top, as close to the stone block above without hitting the stone block. Just hit the stone pillar. Destroy the first stone pillar.
2nd. BB on same arc as first shot. Goal is for BB to roll as far right as possible; exploding the TNT.
3rd. Terrence cleanup. Skip Terrence and he will skip with force and take out most everything else. He will tip the cannon and cage around it over the cliff.
Not a lot left after third shot and not worth taking another shot with BB for more points.
These pigs are strong like…
OMG terence become a pig.!!
287.910, 2 birds, low on first tower, low on tower with the Canon, with a little luck.
my Ahtisaari Day still says 2 days til release, does anyone know what could cause this issue, I disconnected then reconnected to my network to no avail. thanks for any assisstance
@explore07, I had the same problem with level 2-4 (Guy Fawkes). I sent a report to Rovio and the reply was to make sure you have a good wi-fi connection. I checked, and I had no problem with my connection, so I exited the game, then completely turned off the power on my Android tablet. After I waited a few seconds, I turned it back on and made sure I had a good connection. When I opened Seasons, it still did not update, so I turned everything off and then on again. After starting the game, it updated on its own and I finally got the new levels.
Hope you can get your update to work after a complete shutdown and re-boot.
Thanks @sweetp – I found some other post that said to reboot my ipod touch operating system, I did that and the level was instantly available, by the way -nice score, I thought I was lucky to get 291K with a rare collapse of the back
Thank you @explore07, you’ve got a great score too! I used @newcybroon‘s strategy above and got a rare L-factor moment, heehee!
I’m glad you were able to get the update after rebooting. I’m surprised it’s not an Android problem exclusively, this time. Well, we know what to do if it happens again.
Happy Flinging and GL!
If you go the high shot route, it’s possible launch the lance on top of the stove up and over to set off the other stove. Good potential score if lots of debris falls both left and right, clean up as necessary.
Took me a while to figure out a few things…I had to destroy all swords to complete level, that I was working w/ the pigs to do it, and I had to stay low. Still haven’t beat my high scores with less than 4 shots. Now attempting @newcybroon strat and improving…trying to shoot ’em in place just right.
Fun level!
Bested by almost 10k but still haven’t been able to do it w/ under 4 shots. Frustrating, but’ll keep trying for under 4.
My level stil says 1 day. Why?
it happened to me 2 times already @habink it will open tomorrow. i know its frustrating.
@habink & @joeyba, this happens to me just about every time & I was attributing it to my incredibly slow/archaic Verizon Wireless internet signal/strength. I’ve been able to resolve it (I think always) by going “backwards” in the Seasons app to the opening screen or page (not game terminology literate) & never by closing the app.
Even though I started on this screen or page when I initially opened the app, for some reason, even if the level shows as not ready when I navigate thru Pig Days, if I keep using the arrow left until I can’t go back any further, within a minute or so I get a popup that it’s available.
For example, a number of level openings ago, mine still showed 5 days, even though I had an iPad notification that it was available. I kept going backwards and within a couple of minutes it was available, the same thing happened today, it showed 5 hrs, which is what it showed last night when I’d looked.
I haven’t followed this issue, so I don’t know if anyone else has suggested this. You two & I are in 3 different countries & at least 2, probably 3 different time zones & I definitely don’t know if either of these is an issue. Pls let me know if this by any chance helps.
I was having a similar issue and now everytime I openAB seasons nothing happens then it crashes. This is going in day four now.
@justpast40 and @beth, Here’s the reply from Rovio when I contacted them with the same problem:
“The game requires a good internet connection to update the Pig Days levels. Make sure you are connected to a good WiFi connection when trying to load the levels…”
So I suggest that after you exit the game, power off your device, wait a few seconds and then turn it back on. Then make sure you have a good internet connection before starting Seasons. This worked for me after waiting over a week!
@sweetp, interesting reply from Rovio. Their reply seems to indicate they have absolutely no clue that at least here in the good ole US of A a vast majority of Americans in rural areas have very limited access to the internet or even a choice of providers. I know I’m/we’re not alone. As an intentional community, I imagine lots of members are affected. I’m actually embarrassed to admit I don’t know where you are on our ABN Map, even after all these years, but your post confirms my suspicion that a lot of what I am seeing with Pig Days is related to the fact I don’t have access to high speed internet.
@justpast40, that’s an interesting observation you have about living in rural areas and limited ISPs with poor internet connections. But you’re right, I live in a rural part of southern California, and about 45% of the time, hubby and I have poor connections on our Android devices. I guess I’ll just have to stand in the bathroom where the signal is the strongest (seriously!) next time I need to update. Haha!
Maybe if it’s not too inconvenient, try updating while you’re in the city? Anyway, at least we know what the problem is and can resolve it without too much frustration. GL to you!
what a twist in the Angry Birds universe! :D
This is not one of my better levels. Not sure why. Now that I have whined…. ;-)
Whining for the win. :-) There’s a heck of a sweet spot between the second & third bricks above the drawbridge.
Agreed. That first pig can reliably clear away the left side for 80-90k, accomplishing in one shot what the video does in two. Then a clear shot through as many of the vertical blocks as possible will explode the TNT and wipe out everything except the canon enclosure. What I can’t seem to accomplish is tipping the remaining concrete off the edge. Anyone have any aiming tips?
Tipping off the cliff has to start with the TNT exploding. Sometimes (rarely) the right structure will move a bit to the right when the TNT explodes, so it only needs a slight nudge to fall off. Even more rarely the TNT will make it fall off the cliff. Since the TNT is random the whole thing is just matter of luck.
It always looks like it’s about to fall after the TNT explodes but never does. Can’t seem to get the right angle to “nudge” it, as the tap is either too light or too low, making it fall inward. Thanks, guess I’ll have to keep trying.
It’s happened to me several times @purplepaws, but before resetting wait a few seconds and you’ll notice the structure moving ever so slightly. And if you wait longer, it sways a bit more then collapses! But, if the motion stops, then it’s time to reset.
Thanks, @sweetp! Just need to take a break from my AB Original catch-up to replay this level properly.
I send the first Pig (?!? how weird is that… right? but such a good find of Rovio!) towards the left side of the structure. Hitting the stones just above the vertical stone pieces usually makes the whole left side collaps. I send the first bird, or second player… ermmm confusing I know, anyway I send bomb bird towards the middle section of the structure (left side was completely gone, 80k± is a good place to start) and it detonated the TNTs and with luck it takes down the right side as well. I got a score of 290110.
Here is my my video.
Thanks @E-star! Took a while, but suddenly everything exploded with the second shot. Watching your video really helped me get a high percentage of good first shots.
@mvnla2 sorry for the late reply, I must have missed it, but glad I could help. Getting the hang of the first shot is key to do the rinse and repeat on the second shot.
@e-star thanks a lot for this video. Almost got depressed, took a gazillion retries. In your video everything is smoothly crushing, didn’t see it working. Suddenly, the second bird (bb) pushed everything to the right. Again, thank. Feeling as I am back in business for Seasons. Seasons Pig Days 2-6
@bernersenn WOW! from depressed to Top score… that must have been an amazing rollercoaster! Congratz on your topscore!
@E-star sure, a rollercoaster it was. My mouth fell wide open. Thanks.
Wooot Thanks fir all the postse and the video @e-star ,@sweetp and everyone, with some patienice I managed a decent score :)
Another helpful video ~ Thanks @E-Star!
My second shot was slightly different but otherwise I found the video from @e-star to be truly helpful. :)
First try on this level. I thought I had destroyed everything but the level wouldn’t finish. No idea why. Hidden pig I guess. Finally managed 304k/2
