Welcome to our first walkthrough for Summer Pignic. Be sure to check back every day for new walkthroughs. Our strategy for level 1 is to fire the first Yellow bird just above the first horizontal stone block, all the way through the left structure to cause it to fall. Launch Big Brother into the left side of the top structure, causing it to topple to the right. The score in the video below is 125,800.

Regarding the “score wind up bug”… What were they thinking to have the total score counter climb for several minutes? They could increment by 10s, or climb real fast at first then slow at the end. The counter should only go maybe 10 seconds.

Well usually the score will only increment maybe 100k or so. That would be the first time you play a level. It was never intended to wind for 4M points.

Mine goes up to 4.1 million too. Is it a coincidence that my Trick or Treat is 4.1 million?

Not a coincidence at all. The counter is was programmed incorrectly and records the “Trick or Treat” score. Rovio is aware and will correct this.

I got a higher score, but still with the same method. If you can get the score over 50000 with the first bird, there’s a better chance of getting a score in the 130000s.

You destroy TNT with first bird? I can’t see how this is possible. Any clues you can offer would be welcome. Thanks.
Best I have been able to do is 131,000+ I just can’t see how to get the 140,000+ scores.

You’ve got to bounce the big red bird so that it will knock over the far half of the level but also crashes through and blows the TNT. Haven’t been able to get it to do that myself yet.

Can you be more specific about the problem?

Either way, I would suggest restarting your device. Also, to open new levels of Summer Pignic, you must be connected to Internet (WiFi or 3G)

I dreamed up a sort of trick shot with the red bird for this level and then to my surprise I made it work.

The idea was to score 50k to 55K with the yellow bird like the walkthrough, but then cannon the red bird into the nearest concrete corner of the right hand structure sharply enough to bring down the right hand structure. But having delivered this sharp hit the red bird would then spin back down and roll the concrete enough to explode the TNT. I was thinking of it like a snooker shot.

After a gazillion attempts I made this work twice but both times I scored about 127K. It’s a fun shot to try though, and makes for an interesting 2 bird and 3 star finish. I wonder if this is where the 140K secret lies?

I have over 3,500,000 for summer picnic, but my Acievements do not give me credit for the required 3,398,000. Any suggestions?

Known bug. No one has that achievement. We are expecting an update soon, so perhaps it will be fixed then.

I’m seriously hating this level with a PASSION. I can’t get over that stupid 1 star hump and I’ve been trying for hours/days to get over it. I don’t get how I can get 3 stars in almost everything else but I’m absolutely failing at getting anything about 100k in this one.

On the first shot, you generally don’t want to go cleanly through the wood, because this tends to cause the stone piece in the center to fall rightwards, which in turn tends to lead to very little of the wood falling off the edge. Instead try to aim the first shot so that it hits near the point at which the vertical wood and stone blocks in the center meet. This is still inconsistent, but it gives you a much better chance to get 55k+, which is pretty much required to score above 130k.

My revisit of Summer Pignic is done, yeahhh! For this first level I needed a lot of resets and ended up using the same strat as the video on top. But my Big red finally did more damage and I got a score of 138930 :D

Basically followed @e-star video, thank you.
With the first Yellow Bird one needs to get into the 50k+ range to obtain a higher score. This can be produced with YB going through the long thin vertical plank to the right of the pig with glasses and smashing the wood block to the left of the lemonade pitcher and only if one get a tumble to the left of the stones and wood planks.
There seems to be a “sweet spot” with the Red Bird just to the left of the lemonade glass that when hit provides a great deal of destruction. Gained over 2k in points.

Hit the first pig directly, it breaks the first piece of wood, it’s pushes off mossy then the rest of first structure falls. Then do like video but closer the beginning of second structure. 136,290 final score. Took a bit but worked for higher scores

Thanks for clearing this up @kathy. I never noticed that I was in the #2 spot or that the top score might be false. I suppose I should give some insight into my own score now. It’s been quite a long time but I believe I used the same first shot as everyone else and the right part was pushed over by the debris pile. A fluke no doubt because I don’t see anyone else mentoning this happening to them.
Then big brother straight ahead smashing through all the little wood pieces on the left and detonating the tnt.

@kathy What do you mean? I believe I described it quite well. If you are talking about the first shot, that goes through the pig with the sunglasses into the wooden rectangle at the centre of the left structure.

142650 with two birds.

The idea is like in the video… almost.
For the first bird, it was more like in @e-star video with about 55k.

The second shot was, in fact, a miss. It was much lower than it should have been but the effect was spectacular.

Terence went below the horizontal stone plank, hitting the vertical stone block almost head on. The difference is that one or two damaged wood planks were in front of it, triggering the accelerating effect and the right part of the structure literally jumped and collapsed as a result while Terence jumped back on top the TNT (without triggering it though).
