Here is our walkthrough strategy for Angry Birds Seasons Ragnahog Level 1-2. You can read more about the Ragnahog update and find helpful links here.
Send the Boomerang over the top, activating to come back to the gap above the stove, setting it off and destroying the structure. A one bird clear is very possible but clean up with Stella if necessary. In the video, even though we killed all the pigs, Cousin Tony remained caged so we used Stella to set him free. His bonus points offset using Stella, and we got the extra collateral points too!
One bird. First (and only) as walkthrough above. Exploded oven/fire and debris fell on both caged birds for 30k. Debris left. Rinse and repeat level with wide range of scores. 136k. I expect higher scores.
Same thing here for 136740 (for now).
Here is a screenshot so that you can see the trajectory and what’s left.
Thanks @asher! Looks like a little higher arc worked better for you.
For me on the iPad, I don’t see anything to the right of Tony, so kinda guess where to activate. Seems to right at or just past where my screen stops.
Could not get the one bird solution. Exploded the oven many times but did not have any debris going to the right to release the bird.
Alternative strategy.
Reverse Remy so he creates a gap under left flag.
Send Stella through gap to pick up stove and send everything flying all over the place.
I was trying for an alternative one-birder to @dasa51 but even when the structure collapses on the stove I haven’t managed to make it blow up yet.
So far I’ve got 107350 for 2 and 111050 for 3. This one won’t stop counting when you hit the arrows to stop it! I know, unusual complaint to NOT stop counting, but makes it difficult to threshold hunt
107,590 is 2*
108,230 is 3*
@admins
Cool @steely59 welcome aboard!
@steely59 thanks
Lowest score? 55480!
Dang it @steely59. Just spent 30 min nailing down the three star limit and you beat me to it.
Totally agree @knichy that the scores rapidly spin past. I got the same limits.
Well guys I just got lucky when it stopped at 108k and that happened to be the threshold. Very hard to stop the counter!
Now I just have to figure out how to beat the average scores ;)
@captrec @knichy
Yeah @CaptREC I hit the button that is supposed to stop everything and watched it just keep going like the energizer bunny. And usually its the other way around, things are falling and it times out.
Got a 1 birder a few times, but for only a little over 100k. 3 birds for 123k
@terribletom I am having the same trouble ,i had trouble at first getting Booomer to blow the stove, then i saw @asher screenshot and can get it to blow, I did manage 117k But that was without red and using 3 birds
Now I blew the stove with Boomer , got Both red, and sent Stella to get Tony, still only 113k!!! Where are the 130k points coming from?????
ohh and i had not that much debris left over ?
This is ridiculous!! How many times do you have to blow the stove to get a decent LUCKY break!!?? I’d rather levels based on skill, Rovio has lost its touch on developing games for real competition imo . just rush out the updates and rake in the $$
@kathy, I got my 130K score yesterday almost exactly as shown in the walkthru video. Important points; you MUST have most of the top buildings slide down to the left, which isn’t easy as it’s a very UNslippery slope, and you need to know where you are going to fling stella, as you have no wait time. As soon as you have a clear shot, go for the black blocks sitting next to Tony (there should be little left on top but a few scraps and some of the blocks, if not all), lifting some or most, and one of them whacking Tony. If the pieces are stuck on the hill and not sliding down after the first shot, no way to get an upper score. So it’s back to our rinse and repeat. Good luck!
Thanks so much @waimea :) Stella hates me, but i think you’ve hit exactly on what I’m doing wrong! I’ve been flinging over those black blocks, flinging over them directly to Tony..
I’ve got the stove to explode pretty consistently though so I’ll keep at it with your tips and hope the AngryBirdsGoddess shines her light of luck my way?
It isn’t that the slope is UNslippery, it’s that the three vertical red planks on the slope are fastened or frozen to the slope. They all have to break loose in order for the debris to slide down the hill.
One of the Golden eggs is on level 1-12, half way up the rocks on the right.
For me, part of the fun is finding the Golden Eggs myself!
We have Dec. 2 today, not 12
@triggerfish, @trishohara…I agree wholeheartedly. Jeez, at least wait until the level opens properly and post on the appropriate page. ):<
I’ve gotten as low as 66k with 1 bird and as high as 120k. I noticed on the 66k the debris went straight up, so no help at all.
This is a good level. It helps me remember why I hate Boomerang Boy so much.
Does anybody else feel that Red down in the pit is redundant?
@Rowdypup, hey, 10K is 10K. :D I agree he’s not good for anything else but the extra points.
Hi @rowdypup. You absolutely need Red in the pit for his 10k bonus bird points at the end, (but not to use for flinging). I don’t see any way of getting high scores unles debris falls into the pit and releases him. Tricky level and needs a lot of luck with the way the structure collapses. Good luck!
Playing on an iPad Air 2, I don’t get the same screen view as the walk through. On my screen the image right edge is just a few pixels to the right of Tony’s cage and I can’t see all of the upper right cliff. It means that I am firing blind and releasing once the first bird goes off screen. On the left side there is a lot less space between the screen edge anwd the launch pad and nothing like the walk through has.
i am zoomed in to the max the device will alllow, but my setup must be wrong although I haven’t changed it although I recently updated the op system to IOS 10.1.1.
Does anyone else have a similar experience? I would appreciate any advice to correct the issue.
Zoomed out, not in! In fact I can’t see the right cliffs on any of the Ragnahog games.
@tiffin I have the same problem all these years later so Rovio never corrected this.
My Hal is not boomeranging. I had the same issue on Hammier Things level 8, I think it was? Anyone else fighting this?
Finally >avg, just like the video and write-up portrays
Holy Moley, Ragnahog in its entirety is proving to be a boring, boring nightmare trying to better average and there is no such thing as a lucky shot in this house. 3 star is easy peezy but beating average is quite another story altogether. I am so hating the monotony of rinse and repeat the same level for weeks without result. Aaaarrrgh……
Here’s a video for 128k. Luck needed!

So this score was achieved on the day the level was released (Dec 2 2016), unfortunately I can remember zero about it and never thought it would last that long. All I have found is a tally screenshot:
