Top score for now at 435930, though the walkthrough is a close second. Not much more to add.
A couple things I’ve noticed. The snake will likely quiver and fall if you are patient and you haven’t killed all the piggies.
Then the rest is as the video – keep flinging birds to the right spot even if all piggies gone. There are lots of points to be had.

This level certainly takes a lot of patience, as you said, waiting for that Worm to quiver and fall, idk if it’s better to get all the debris before it falls adding to the pile, or after. Still working on it!
My stupid nails must’ve hit one of the PU in the top left because somehow i have a lightening bolt score under my regular score Pita! 🐣

I got my current score of 410,940 using a different strategy.
First bird same as video. ( BTW this first bird can sometimes bring the main structure down). Second bird above snake, dropping egg near its head and aiming body to the brown clouds. Depending on damage, use remaining birds to bring the main structure down and free up the caged birds. Use all birds to maximise destruction.
I found this a fun strategy, as the damage caused by second bird was very varied and I had to decide carefully how to use the next birds.

It is definitely “Spirited Away”. The character on the bridge with the mask confirms it. Go to any ComicCon and you’ll see at least one Cos Player as that character. :)

I can get in the 430’s regularly with this strat.
1st to the firework. Every 5-10 goes it will go right and dislodge the side of the house and set off tnt. Explosion should take down dragon but not essential.
2nd drop wherever looks good. Don’t ricochet into clouds. You want them to fall later rather than get bust. Drop dragon if it’s still there.
3rd again wherever looks good. Usually clear some debris like the boulder out of the way for big red.
4th into first pit
5th towards water. Either high or straight. Usually tnt and firework still there. Orange doesn’t normally make it into the water.
6th high lob into first pit. Explosion from 5th or 6th should drop clouds

First two birds like video. After that everything depends on where things have fallen. I played for two hours and not one time did the bridge fall through from Matilda. Screen shot shows more points to be gotten.

Played this level just like the video except that the bridge did not fall with the white bird. There has to be a sweet spot to make the bridge fall but it eludes me for now.
