The best strategy for Mooncake Festival level 1-2 is to fire the first Black bird through the top of the third tower and trigger its explosion above the second hatted pig. The explosion will push the last two towers to the right, popping all the pigs. Fire the next Black bird through the hollow stone square on the left side, and ideally into the small gap next to it, to maximize the destruction and score. The score in the video below is 111,500.

Well just when you think you’ve cracked this game you come across a level that stumps you – I guess that’s what keeps me coming back for more and more piggies!! Thanks for the video here – so damn easy when you know how :0)

Hi all……. @Steve jack – too true. Spent hours trying to get good scores – even one birded it a couple times but not very high scores. Watched the vid and voila! 106330 first time ! Same method as vid – thanks so much.

This was a tough one to get a consistent score of over 105k.

Launch the first bird high so that it comes down between the second and third structure from right side. Tap the screen before it touches any of the blocks or bird(s). The impact from the explosion pushes the whole second structure (from right) towards the right side taking all of the second and third structure out, this should give you a minimum score of 55k, gotten as high as 67k. Launch the second bird in a shallow arc so that it lands between the first and second structure (from left), let it fall between the two structure, when it explodes, it’ll take out more blocks than if it landed elsewhere.

This was a tough one. I must have played it 400 plus times to finally reach the “secret” way my board played.
Following the walkthrough I NEVER could knock down the required left side concrete blocks to increase my score.
I constantly knocked out the pigs with two birds….. But not the blocks. I reversed the walkthrough strategy……
knocking out the Left side concrete blocks and pigs FIRST. If I accomplished that with over 70,+ points, then
I went for the two right towers which by this time I had that side down to a science……It WORKED!! After 4-5 tries
I totaled over 106,+ points.

Following your lead, I just hit 112600.

Not sure how you got 70k on first bird, but only when I had 50k or more on the first I fired the 2nd bird to finish out the level.

Also started on the left side.
1. First Bomb Bird over the top of the hollow stone block so it hits and breaks the vertical stone block causing the left side to fall to the left. Bomb Bird falls to the ground and activates when it times-out. Goal is to obtain 50k+ with the first bird.
2. Line up the yellow top of the head feather of the second Bomb Bird with the dark purple edge of the back ground hillside. Bomb Bird hits the top left corner of the highest base rock. Activate upon impact so the two right structures fall to the right. The activation should take out the far right pig in the hat.

Its hard to believe shooters have gotten as many as 116,000 pts on this one wow! I would love to see some of those walkthroughs. I have tried everything, can barely get 100,00. Just once by sheer luck.this its very hard.

In the never ending quest to improve my scores, I think I have discovered something that will help with this level. If you follow the video, it seems like scores can range from 97k to 111k or more. I think that the secret it to make sure that the first bird is detonated manually, just as described. I have tried waiting, but that usually results in a lower score after the first bird, and sometimes the hatted pig remains. It is important to detonate manually. The second shot has to destroy the thick vertical piece of stone that is supporting the second structure (right next to the hollow block). The video helped me so much. This level definitely requires precision, and a lot of re-dos. I almost scored 110k, but that hatted pig didn’t die with the first bird :(. Thanks again for these walkthroughs. Now, if I could just do as well on 1-1!

I agree with @wanda in that manual detonation is a must. I don’t know about others but quite often, I don’t read the description/method instructions above the video and just go straight to viewing the video. On this level, it is worthwhile because it says “…trigger its explosion”…. Sometimes a triggered explosion is not obvious or can be easily missed when viewing videos.

Using Fuji’s video, I managed to score 111,110. It’s such an unusual score (i.e. I don’t recall seeing so many ones) that I’m tempted to leave it and not bother trying to improve lol.

I gott three stars in all levels and all my achievements and I didnt get the cake with the three stars. How do I get that?

You have verified that the episode selection screen says 99/99 stars? The stars don’t shine on the Big Mooncake until you play and pass its level.

Otherwise, we will need more information, such as device and app version.

This level is a consistent 1-Birder headache, the only one where a 1-Birder gives you a low good for nothing score, so I had to modify the approach.
1) Launch first Black Bird to go above the pig in the video, then detonate, (don’t let it touch the pillar on the right) that knocked down everything on the right side including the baseball fan pig and the kung fu master pig.
2) Launch second Black Bird at the center of the 2 remaining structures and detonate before it starts going down, that ensures maximum collateral damage.

First bird thru the China hat of the left pig, as in @e-star video ( thanks!) Make sure you damage the hollow stone blocker on the right and drop bomb bird next to it so it disappears. Enough tries will get you nearly total destruction as pictured here for 55k

My second shot is higher than @e-star video, manually detonating over the Piggie head even with the junction of the lowest and second hollow block, all five tilt to the right with the top one leaning back left to break the others. 100% destruction on the right for 54k more, 10 k bonus for 119.
