Did this with 2 shots, and more points are definitely available.
First shot similar to first shot of the video, but a fraction lower (ie go through the pig) so as to leave more stones to fling to the right with your second bomb.
Second shot go into the stones rather than below them: ideally break the lower hollow square stone that should now be exposed, so as the explosion sends debris flying all over and kills all the pigs.
In practice, a third shot is usually required because the stones only rarely get as far as the rightmost pig, but when they do a 20k bonus is your reward.

High score for the moment — similar to walk through with the same twist @pauliboy mentioned for the second shot — first bomb bird, I try to hit the grass just above the rope holding the pig with the blue hat then let bomb bird fall about even with where the cage used to be and explode manually — second bomb bird to the stones (NOT the grass below), I let the bird settle in so explosion will send stones to the right and down taking out most of the grass and at least all of the musician pigs and their instruments — third shot, lob bomb bird so it goes through the umbrella, rolls to the right and destroys coffee cup, pig, tea pot and 1 or 2 of the stone table planks — 1 bonus bird — this is how I achieved 184,880 — screen shot of score is provided below — keep on flingin’

Those cellos on the ground don’t seem to be giving the promised 3k in points. I’ve hit them directly several times & it looks like it’s only 1k..

189190 with 3 birds.

As described by @realfish and @pauliboy.

I am not letting the second Bomb burrow into the structure though. I am trying to detonate it manually so that the boulder is falling close to the left to maximize the damages.

This is the best result I had after two birds (161k with one violin remaining…).

And then the third Bomb is fairly easy and this is the final result for my best score.

congrats on new high score @asher! I try to let bomb bird fall under the remaining tower and manually detonate so the boulder will fall almost straight down and often will take out all of the green hedge (?) while some of the remaining tower will fall a bit right taking out all of the musician pigs just to the right of the hedge (I think my best 2 bird score was 158,000+ so I think you need high 150’s or low 160’s to get a score above 180,000)

Nothing special here, I used the strategy by @realfish and @pauliboy. The first shot brings about half the stones down for a score around 70k. If you have 95-105k you know you broke too much of the grass and you are unlikely to get good destruction on the right.
So now you should have a clear shot towards 2 hollow squares in the remaining stones. Aim BB into the lower one and manually detonate shortly after. I had 162k here with the 2 right pigs still alive.
Then as described before, aim through the umbrella and let the bird roll a bit to the right.

I am a little surprised this is a highscore. Compared to asher’s highscore screenshot, this does not look like 181k destruction at all. Perhaps something has changed in the latest update?

Thanks for the mention @angrychicken – I went back and had another go and upped my score with 3 birds. I think you may be right that the points come easier since the latest update.

Like @pauliboy & @angrychicken described, leaving more stone up top with the 1st shot is better.
The 2nd needs to be detonated to send the boulder in particular down onto the stone on the bottom left. Most of this stone has to be destroyed.
For a high score you need 160k+ with 2 pigs remaining on the right after the 2nd shot.
