Angry Birds Seasons Abra-Ca-Bacon Level 2-3 Walkthrough

Our strategy for Angry Birds Seasons Abra-Ca-Bacon level 2-3 is to shoot the moon with a Yellow bird, tossing him nearly straight up and then attacking the left side of the central tower. The falling tower should clear most of the level after the TNT explodes. Speed a Yellow bird through both swinging ropes, trying to pop the leftmost pig if you can. Otherwise, a simple snipe at the end should do. The score in the video below is 120,260.

Here’s a variation on the video strategy:

With the first bird, make sure you pop the left swinging pig on the way down. The remaining swinging piece of rope will after a few swings hit the right swinging pig, so you don’t have to waste a bird on him. Depending on what happens on the ground, use one or to birds to mop up. 126k with three birds.

I fired the first bird immediately on a high arc accelerating through the 2 ropes with the swinging rings. The 2 rings fell in just the right way and took out everything but 1 of the pigs on the far right. Sniped him with the second bird. Only did this once so not sure how repeatable it is. At the time I had no idea what the high score was.

I went for the 2 blocks that hold the ropes, a medium arc takes them both out with one bird, I think the ‘capsules’ at the ends of the ropes were swinging to the left when they came down. I wasn’t paying too much attention and I’m not sure how much debris there was left but it was a one bird hit (sorry I don’t usually get high enough up the leaderboard for my methods to possibly make a difference).

Definitely a one-bird solution. Timing makes a big difference. I used the same method as@jshfire and @dbird. I had been cutting through the ropes closer to the pigs but decided to go high and found it much better. This is a fun level in that its a skill level that doesn’t require any L-Factor, (of course a little L-Factor is always nice). The fact that there are different ways to achieve a high score makes its fun too.

First bird fired nearly straight up immediately upon starting level, do not activate. goal is to float up over the left swinging pig, cutting the rope so that the pig lands on top of left tower, popping pig and knocking it down. bird then follows through landing on and breaking the horizontal plank at the bottom of the third tower, causing that tower to tip to the left and fall on TNT. Debris from the explosion flies up to break rope fo right hand swinging pig. If timed just right, he could fall on remaining pigs on far right, however, I had to use second bird for clean up there, which allowed me to pick up the juggling pin as well.

Similar first shot to yours @burbman, cutting the rope of the left swinging pig so that it took out the left tower. However, first bird continued through to hit the middle tower — just like the video — except that the debris from the TNT explosion knocked the right swinging pig down and only cleared half of the pigs on the far right. Second bird took out the three right most pigs and the juggling pin beneath them. I think there is a one-bird solution in this approach.

This isn’t the easiest strategy but with a bit of practice it works.
Shoot the moon with the 1st bird – zoom in & leave just a sliver between the bird & the slingshot. Boost immediately so the bird flies over to the far tower & lands over the juggling pin. This should get all the pigs on the far right & the pin, & cause the tower to fall left, starting a chain reaction to knock down everything except the 1st tower. I aim & fire pretty quickly after reset to leave both swinging pigs, you need at least one for the next shot, preferably the left one. Screenshot shows the trajectory of the shot.

http://angrybir.de/Z57TEQ

2nd shot I find easier to fling zoomed out, wait for the pigs to swing right & as they start coming back left aim through the top of the ropes, the left one should fly left as it falls to take out the left tower & pig. Even if the pig in the circle misses the tower, the rope seems to be strong enough to at least get the pig. The right pig falls to do more damage.
The toughest part is the moon shot, it’s so sensitive to aim so you may need to play around a bit to find the perfect shot.

@karen68 – Thanks for the Awesome strat!!! It got me Top Score for now with 136950 ;-))) I found this level very boring before coming here and reading your strat. I saw your first bird method and immediately gave it a try (gotta love those crazy moon shots)… to my surprise was able to do it right away for 130K. I tried a few more times and…Viola!!! Very creative my friend ;-)
Here’s how mine played out…after shooting the moon with YB, he cut through the rope of the second swinging pig as it was coming left and landed on the bowling (juggling) pin…meanwhile as the first swinging pig was still in motion and now swinging back to the right, the right swinging pig (which had already been cut off) hit the left swinging pig that again, was now swinging over to the right. He got hit by debris meanwhile the bottom was in the midst of falling left as you decribed with the chain reaction. I eneded up with 102060 and only the front left most pig remained. Here’s a screenshot where you can see how the ropes were:

http://angrybir.de/125OHuC

For the second bird, I sent him about 2/3 of the way up on his post hoping to get the most out of it. It pretty much took out the whole post. Here’s a screenshot of the final outcome:

Thanks again! It turned out to be quite a fun level!!!

I should probably clarify that I believe it was the right rope that swung back and hit the left swinging pig causing it to get cut off. As you mentioned…the rope seems to be strong enough to do some damage ;-)
