Angry Birds Rio Smugglers Den Star Bonus Walkthrough Level 2

This is our walkthrough video for Angry Birds Rio Smugglers Den Star Bonus Level #2. The level is unlocked by earning 50 stars in Smugglers Den. Time your shot with the Yellow bird, launching him through the chains supporting the pendulum-like boulder. The goal is to have the boulder crash into the left tower, but not so far left that it can’t fall down the central chute. It will take a few tries to get the timing right, but a one-bird clear is very possible. The score in the video below is 83,130.

I wait for the ball to start coming back for second swing and the launch bird and cut rope so that ball hits the inside edge of the middle structure, this will push some debris left to get first bird and collapse the middle and far right structure. One bird 90k+ but I think one ca go higher with two by collapse the front structure with second that will gain you more than 10k points

What inside edge are you talking about toward the upper part or bottom of the middle structure ?

I somehow managed to head-on-hit and break the suspension of the pendulum, I guess with an extra 1000 points.

And if you hit the ball with the bird, the pendulum can make even more movement with maybe even better scores if disconnected differently…?

Hi Manu, it’s been a while feeling good to play again, I go for the inside (right edge) of the horizontal stone bar the red bird is on. You want the ball to have momentum going left still, if you hit it right the left stone pillar will fall left and take out the left most bird and the rest including the stone ball will go right to drop the rest of the middle and right structure

Up to 95k with 2. First shot to get the first structure. Second shot is same as rockands with a twist. You can actually destroy the support that hold the chain. I think 100k are possible this way.

I used this strat as well but am settling for 93280 for now. This is with getting partial damage to the support holding the chain. Everytime I destroy the support completely, the strucuture below doesn’t get enough damage points. It seems when I get a good hit to the support, the ball and chain decide to do a weak job below. I’ll have to come back and try again.

Got 89820 using all three birds, first to destroy the pile of crates to the left, second destroyed the thing holding the pendulum taking out most of the middle and the right but missed the leftmost birdcage. Third bird through remaining crates, last birdcage and what was left of the middle structure. No highscore but above average – at least for now.

92080/1 using @rocklands method. There’s quite a bit of debris left over – tempting to throw others but I don’t think it’s worth more than 10k most of the time.

Now almost every day one of my scores on the leaderboard is disappearing. Until a few days ago I was listed with 98120, 1150 points behind the high score (gone too). Please could someone tell me what is going on? Unfortunately @admins won’t reply on that specific question.
