Our strategy for Rocket Rumble Level #11 is to fling the Yellow bird into the top structure. The drop an egg bomb on the detonating cord to finish off the level. The score in the video below is 118,140.

‘New’ golden eggs question
Same method as video, two birds.
Upon re watching video, slightly different.
1. First bird similar, but breaks the horizontal wood, top collapses. The result is essentially the same as the video I.e., stones break the wood above the fuse.
2. Second bird has clear shot to the fuse just like video.
One bird.
Yellow to the low front structure.
Ignited the cord to the rocket.
It went straight up, taking out the upper structure.
Almost 131K in points were achieved via obtainment.
This is the way to go for scores nearing or exceeding 140K. YB to lower square block of the first structure with the objective of dropping horizontal plank holding green lantern vertically and igniting the fuse. Fairly repeatable but my first few one-birders using this method only gave 128K – 133K range. I was convinced that this is the only deliberate way to break 140K so I persisted and it paid off.
well done @fenikus. I had given up on this one after a handful of low scoring 1 birder. Will try some more.
I am not sure what string of luck I have on this board but not even a minute after starting to work on this I hit a 137k
@eweber you’ve been on a tear starting this past weekend…I’ve been watching your progress by being notified of 4 of my top scores being beaten by you. Respect dude, truly well done.
Thx @fenikus good to see some new faces fighting at the top of the board
For those pursuing this strategy during today’s Challenge of the Day, here is a video: http://youtu.be/LRcAds8ZUh4
Note the instrumental role a small concrete rectangle plays in guiding the wood plank to the fuse cord. Good luck!
@fenikus, thanks for you video!! You got it working, nice job
many thx to @fenikus for the video
i use the same strat.
Thank you @playdbird and @fenikus! I too had previously tried for the 1-birder with poor results, but your comments prompted me to try again. Like @eweber I got lucky within a few minutes!
I got one 1 birder using the 1st bird of the video’s method which gave me (after many many tries)132,760. I then went and tried the @playdbird method which required even more tries (no early lucky shots for me). The trouble is I seem to have received the warped rocket (why do I always get the warped one lol). Three out of the only 4 times so far that I got the stubborn piece of wood to set the fuse off, my warped rocket went left leaving the top structure intact. Fortunately, one time it worked giving me 135,400. Don’t know if I’ll persevere but thanks Bag of Hamsters for this method.
I did persevere with this level and was unable to get the rocket to go up again. It went left another 8 times and even went right once! The warped rocket is on the PC. (Note in my original post, the rocket did go up and destroy the top level once.) Since you need to feather this level to be able to play one of the bonus levels, I then played on my iPad (using Bag of Hamsters method). Out of 3 goes, the rocket went up each time! It only succeeded in destroying the top level once but that did give me a better score of 136,920.
I’ve played quite a few levels on both PC and iPad now and have never seen such a difference. Btw I checked, and both devices have the same version – v1.8.0.
@chicadee my rocket just went right…LOL!
THANKS to @playdbird for originally posting the strategy and to @fenikus for elaborating on it. Initial results got me to +134K which was about a +6K improvement on my previous best and now it’s time to implement the “persistence” side of your strategy!
The difficult challenge with this strategy is to get the green lantern horizontal plank to rotate counterclockwise all the way down to the bottom right corner to ignite the tip of the fuse ~ after that it’s all up to luck that the rocket will go up through the top structure.
Don’t know if it’s different for other platforms but on the PC I’ve noticed the best chance of getting the proper plank rotation seems to be dependent on how the lower left structure is toppled. Without accelerating YB aim to just barely nick the very bottom front corner of the lower block which will cause a slow collapse of the structure ~ then hope for the best…..
tyupturn to @playdbird for the strat and also @uncle-b on the extra tip, I only started getting any sort of result when I read your post about not accelerating.
Lol don’t know where ‘upturn’ came from
That CRAZY Rocket has a mind of it’s own as to where it will go. It seems to me that it only goes up through the top structure perhaps 1 out of 4 times at best ~ very frustrating when combined with how difficult it is to light the rocket fuse.
Thanks @playdbird and all the others that convinced me to keep trying the 1-birder shooting at the bottom wooden square. It works! (eventually)
I’ve been able a dozen times to ignite the rocket with the first bird, but it never clears the top.
Thanks to @playbird for the strategy and @fenikus for the video and tips. Zoomed in on this one and made the one bird solution a number of times with the green rocket going straight up about 1 in 10 times. The other 9 times the green rocket went to the right. Never had it go to the left. Hitting the very bottom corner of the lowest hollow wood box produced somewhat consistent results.
One bird for 134,560. First bird into top structure & a lucky stone fell & ignited the detonator! :-)
Came to check my score and found it to be above average with a different strategy: yb very high arch to destroy wood with blue lantern above rocket rope, wb to ignite rope – rocket takes out upper structure. Haven’t tried often enough yet, but definitely 1birder should be possible that way.
125K very high arc with chuck, speed to take out wood over detcord. then bomb cord with matilda…with luck, it will set off the cord AND the rocket will keep going straight up
A lucky 1 birder too, with YB bird as same as video…. then TNT was ignited
and, miracle, i got the Top Score !!

OK, officially whining about how hard that “one-bird to the front block” shot is. Now I hope I’ll finally get it.
