Our strategy for High Dive Level #11 is to push the stones from the elevated tent rightward using a Black bird. Then clean up the left side using more Bombs. The score in the video below is 144,880.

Did it like the video, but first used a bomb to go into the pile of boxes at the bottom left for 20k points, which makes it worth not getting the bonus points for an unused bird.

Finally a high score in High Dive! Used all 5 birds. First shot was critical and lucky. Up to the top platform and detonate just as it goes thru the wooden vertical. If you leave it too long, it blasts the boulders hidden in the crates too far to the right, or destroys them outright. The boulders triggered the two TNT’s, and general mayhem ensued. All of the cages were destroyed, but there was tons of debris left, so I set about destroying it with the rest of the birds – one to the lower left crates, one to the platform just above that, next one to the right side of the lowest platform, and the final to the raft. Not much debris left. Fun stuff!

I definitely believe @raven22 is onto something here. Using all 5 bomb birds as described, not an easy feat due to how quickly level starts to score preventing subsequent launches, led to a 12k improvement on Android phone of 170690.

Well this was a refreshingly fun level ;-) I got my best score with 4 BB’s so far but several times when I did get the 5th bird in…I would have actually had about 175K if I hadn’t thrown in the last one which wasn’t worth 10K ;( Oh well…obviously it depends on what’s left…still waiting on the massive 5 bird score to come my way ;D

haven’t hit the stellar scores (only 10 flings in to a serious pursuit of scoring), but a couple more observations:
the best first bird seems to be when all mayhem breaks loos but leaves the last cage on the raft. that gives more time to carefully place the follow up destructo-shots.
when shooting at the lower platform, just barely missing the platform above and landing on the mini-box seems to score highest.

Fling on, late comers!

going back to add some points, used 4 birds and got 10K more, securing spot #62 on the Rio leaderboard.

1st bird arced so it landed barely on the platform and detonated just as it broke the tent leg. took out top, right platform, and raft with damage to the raft from TNT. then the top half of the right stack fell, causing more damage and leaving only the yellow birds in a cage there

2nd bird downward directly into the little box to vaporize all of the stones in the boxes, except for the one that likes to defy gravity and float,

3rd bird ever so slightly below level, into the ice block so it rolls onto the fruit and blows everything outward for max destruction.

4th bird slightly above level to drop into the gap where the boxes are and finish it all off.

in 10 attempts I increased my previous high of 163 4 times, so very repeatable.

Thanks to @knichy for the strategy and @comex666 for the video. I played this level like the video. Fun level to fling but I have to agree with the other comments for this level that that the scoring is kinda weird in that when their is not a lot of debris remaining the scores are low and higher scores are awarded with more debris.

I might’ve missed a post or something on M.E. It says I “feather out” each level of high dive before I reach 100%. Even if my first shot is 80% I go back to the levels and shows I’m feathered out.

@amslimfordy I’ve noticed two very strange, possibly related things about this level that I haven’t seen anyone mention, but they can’t be unique. First, when I send a bb into the space between the first two platforms to pick up damage points, usually at least one stone ball is left over, and it floats just below the upper platform. The wooden duck also floats a little some of the time, but it slowly falls down. The ball however doesn’t drop until I send a bb to the platform above it. And that’s when the next peculiar thing happens: the upper right box on the platform (which contains stone balls if it gets opened) will just float in very odd positions. It comes to rest when any corner of it touches something else, but at strange angles that could not be maintained if it had any weight. I’ve posted some screenshots in my album to show you what I mean. They were all taken after everything had come to rest. I haven’t been able to figure out how to take advantage of these phenomena in boosting my score, but I don’t remember anything like them on any other level of any of the games.

@snoid I see this too on PC, and it is pretty weird. For me, the upper left stone ball inside the box just stays stuck in midair after the blast, and that box in the upper structure also gets stuck in midair, then slides down and to the right in an arc, like it’s rolling off a big invisible ball.

I’ve found no advantage, either, so I guess it’s just fun to look at.

I got a few ‘onezee’s – but NOT w as high a score as yours… SOoo, I started w the works-better-for-me-strat of selectively blowing stuff up w/o getting the *quik-countout*. Obviously, I haven’t been much good at my ‘selectivity’ component —- BUT, the combined startegy of you folks is sure W A A A Y better than what I was doing :-). (I also, occasionally, end up w a slow-moving box —- that floats on air — then sinks, some —- & does NOT add points ….. so maybe it, too, is just fun to look at :-) ?

This is a weird one score-wise. Been following strat of @knichy, but mostly getting scores in the 155-165K range. Then suddenly racked up 180K with 4 birds. Only difference seemed to be that, in addition to bird 1 totally clearing two right platforms and raft, central platform was partially destroyed. Still quite a bit of debris left after 4 birds, and raft only slightly damaged. So maybe it’s just one of those L-factor levels?

I totally agree with you @peejaydee27 ;-) Very strange scoring level and I also hit a 180K out of the blue with 4 birds. Slightly different scenario though. The first bird destroyed the two right platforms and the raft was pretty well damaged, but it was the front top structure that was partially collapsed.

I believe it is the little stones that hold all the points here which is why the scores vary so widely. I say this because I’ve noticed that when the weird “floating” crate that some others have mentioned above, floats about and then finally falls and hits something, it racks up about 3K+ points to your score! I have also had a lot of 175K+ range scores where it seemed that more of the stones were destroyed. If you notice, your scores seem to be lower when there is a lot of these small stones still laying around…

Yep!, I just tested it again and The floating crate landed on the ledge this time with out getting destroyed, it was still intact. There were exactly two stone pieces near by it, one being the regular rectangular plank and the other was a little small square… I aimed BB right at the crate, he blew it up and hit rolled into the two cement pieces, knocking over the rectangular one of the ledge bit it didn’t hit anything as there was nothing down where it fell. It was just cracked and my score gained over 6000 points that time! So I think it’s definitely safe to say that these stones hold a lot of the “higher scores” power :D

Thanks for your insights @lesleyg. I’m sure your right, those stones are the key to higher scores. They seem to be worth 500 each and there’s a lot (didn’t count them though!). Had a last few flings with your variation and others before the challenge ended, but couldn’t get a better result. Onwards and upwards :-)
