Our strategy for Blossom River Level #6 is to fling the Red bird into the leftmost marmoset through the small wooden plank protecting it. Nearly the entire level should clear from the domino effect, leaving a weak tower with cardboard boxes as legs on the right side of the level. The score in the video below is 131,310.

New Event – Novastar
I used a slightly different trajectory on the first shot. Aim Red just over the three marmosets on the fishing pole, hitting the horizontal wood plank head-on. This will cause the middle structure to collapse with more debris damage, and dropping the round boulder down to take out the marmosets on the pole. You should have between 88k-92k. Then second shot as the walkthrough video shows.

Great tip @sweetp – got it in a few tries! Many Thanks
You’re welcome @earthbound, glad it helped and for a nice score! Now…how to break that 139k?
Thanks @sweetp, I was sending the bird as you described to hit the horizontal wooden plank. After a number of tries I suddenly got lucky, and the back structure also collapsed giving me a one-birder and top score.
Congrats on your top score @annach! That sure was a lucky one-birder shot. The AB goddess was smiling upon you on that fling, WTG! I almost got it with one bird, but the right structure didn’t collapse completely, and lots of debris left.
Great strategy @annach. I wasted a lot of effort shooting at the wrong horizontal plank above yours because early on I got a total collapse with the exception of one little marmoset at the far right. Had he died I would have had a 149-150k score. On the middle horizontal plank shot you can, very very rarely, get the wood plank to the right of the one you shoot at to destroy a bottom box in the right tower.
Thanks for bringing me back to the lower plank.
Very constans strategy with scores over 130K. I was at 133K on my own and nicely improve. Because I stop improving I take a brake. I made 2nd blind shoot aiming by little lowering start point of arc.
And a thank you back @sweetp So far improved my score a couple thousand with your alternative strategy. For awhile I was trying to figure out how the people were able to get 143k on this. Figured a few just gotten a lucky one bird shot. But could very well be the same as the strategy you shared. I’ve been flinging for several hours now trying to improve my score here but I may just have to be happy with what I have. :-)
I’m glad I could return the favor @coffeeking, nice score! I think it’s a rinse, repeat level with a whole bunch of luck added in.
@sweetp, found the same strat. Tip for other players: after the first bird the wooden duck in the middle has to be crushed. If it doesn’t reset.
Nice tip @bernensen. I tried to clear out as much debris as possible, wooden ducks included! During one of my many resets I got up to 94k! And then finally broke my previous 139k score.
@earthbound, I’m going to try and squeeze out a few more points…fling, rinse, repeat…fling, rinse, repeat!! Aargghhh!
@bernersenn, @sweetp, I do not see any “wooden ducks”. Am I blind?
@bonneypattycat, right next to the first building. Now I zoomed in I see it’s not a duck but a sack. The same thing is a little more right. Anyway, the left ‘duck’ is what I meant that you have to destroy, it gains good points. I remembered these things from High Dive. So keep on flinging, you will pass the both of us.
Hee hee, yes, those are sacks, worth 500 points. You sure had me scratching my head :)
@bonneypattycat, I was wondering when someone would ask @bernersenn, “what ducks”, lol. I saw him call them that in High Dive but didn’t have the heart to correct him :)
@fenikus ~ I thought perhaps it was a “duck roast” ~ LOL
Heehee, thanks @bernersenn for letting us know. With these old weary eyes, they looked like wooden ducks to me, too! (That’s my story and I’m sticking to it!)
@annach Congrats on the great score! I had a question for you and @sweetp Did you hit the plank above the stone ball, or the plank below the stone cube and marmoset? Both are aimable with that shot, and provide similar results.
annach, I’m guessing you got the 1-bird from debris pushing a pole into the right structure, destabilizing it? I came very close to 149k with that shot. The right structure stabilized at the most ridiculous tilt I’ve ever seen. Screenshot made me laugh…after I stopped screaming. :)
Balancing Act
@Kelani, I hit the wood plank sitting on top of the round stone ball. I never thought to try the one below the stone cube. I’ll have to try that shot and see if there’s more room for points improvement.
@kelani – I hit the lower wooden plank that is above the stone ball. I don’t remember exactly how the right structure got destabilized. Your picture shows that it is possible, you just needed a little bit more luck. I have seen structures tilt and stay in crazy positions in these levels. This game is definitely not based on real laws of physics.
Correct! :-) I read an article some time ago wherein Rovio acknowledged that two exact shots were not guaranteed to produce the same results. At this writing, anything > 141K seems pretty elusive; however, Kelani’s ‘Balancing Act’ shot is encouraging :-). THX, folks! …. rogue
lol @Kelani I have sooo many ‘soooo close’ ‘unbelievable’ screenshots hee hee thanks for sharing. and thanks for posting your question i was confused as to which plank also
great score @rat9 :)
@Kelani @rat9 @mvnla2 @everyone AHA!! I just tossed my second bird backwards for the heck of it and hit some watermelons AND He junped back inn the Sling!!! not sure how helpful this might be in gathering points as I’ve only done it the one time.. but thought it a cool find! !
@Kathy — Pretty cool, especially as he gets some points, but more like 1000 than 10K. Maybe need to try more, 1st try knocked one of the birds out of commission.
@mvnla2 I’ve only been able to do it with the second bird. .and actually only 2 times he jumped back inn the sling. m but i was over excited about it and of course missed the next shot lol.. I’m still trying though I’ll keep you posted.
ohh and i tossed him directly behind into the middle pile of watermelons.. when i tried the upper or lowre level he just fizzled out.
@Kathy Wow, that new. You have a SuperBird! About all I’ve been able to do is get yellow to hop in the sling upside down.
You do know everyone’s gonna be spending all night playing Bird-Gallagher on the watermelons :P
@Kelani lol!! anyway like i told mvnla2 it hasn’t helped me much. . I’ve only got him to hop back in the sling twice. and both times I’ve missed the next shot:(
I’ve got my fingers on the button to try and capture a screenshot. .I’ll Keep ya’s posted:)
@sweetp @annach Thanks, both of you. :) That’s the same plank I was hitting. It was worth a shot to rule out the other.
SweetP – Almost every spot on the left side can cause a collapse, all with near-identical results, as far as I could tell.
annach – You got that right. AB physics were written by mathematicians on psychedelics. I’ve seen them described elsewhere as a ‘colorful blend of cartoon and drunken physics’ :)
Hmmm… Lots of stuff on this level that is not coming into play. Wonder if there is any way to use some of it to improve my score? Maybe I should beat the average the conventional way first though. If I find anything, I will be sure to post.
I have had moderate (just above average so far)success with an alternate strategy here. I am pretty sure it has the potential for a one birder with very high scores. First bird off the life ring into the lower of the two hanging monkeys on the outside of the pole. Goal here is to get the monkey holding the TNT to hit the left ball, when this happens, it is going to be BIG, but even if he misses slightly, it can still result in a 90+k score and the same second shot as the video…now…about all that fruit…
Alternate strategy… One birder… Slow developing destruction….
Low arcing shot that lands at the right-most foot of the highest marmoset. The bird should one hop to the right, occasionally this will take out the right tower. Even if it does not it shoul remove the tent and most of the tent poles making way for the next thing to happen.
The middle structure will slowly crumble… the two sides CAN split and fall to the left and right to take out both side structures and complete the one birder!
A lot of luck involved on which way the collapse falls but it is tantalizing to watch. This is the strategy used for my 145k score.
Just repeated the feat for 144+k… So not an aberration…
Patience grasshopper.
Used the same strategy thanks for posting @woodpecker. Obtained the one bird solution a few times but the present score was obtained with two birds with the second bird going to the bottom of the far right structure.
Obtained the best score when the three stones at the top fall to the right to cause good destruction in the middle of the boat. Tried to break the 140k point range but couldn’t get enough destruction.
@woodpecker Just to clarify, you’re saying to arc into the large marmoset behind the three stone blocks, at the very top of the tower?
First time I read your strategy I thought you meant bounce red bird off the top of the front pole with 3 marmosets, which also works. Then I saw the part about taking out the right tower. :)
This is a good idea. There’s all kinds of ways to get the collapse, but this looks like an easier way to take out that right tower.
In case anyone hasn’t noticed it, the collapse is caused by the two vertical wood blocks to the right of the boat’s porthole. Hitting the main structure just about anywhere makes the upper block slide to the left and pop out.
Kelani,
Yes, your description is correct.
@woodpecker do you mean the Left foot? I can’t sget to the Right foot with low arc without taking out the Marmoset. A high arc you can but it didn’t take out the marmoset on the mast. @kelani Ami missing something?
@Kathy : Find the huge marmoset on top of the tower. Look at his nose, go straight down until you see a paw at the end of a skinny little leg. That’s the right right paw :P
woodpecker’s description below is as good as it gets. :)
Kathy,
Don’t concern yourself with the marmosets on the mast… the collapse will take care of those. When I say low arc… think of it as skipping a stone on water (no moon shot or high arc). The left foot may work… but going through that marmoset and landing it where his right foot would be has been my successful target for multiple 140+k scores. Landing at the left foot seemed to produce multiple bounces or a roll… what I found was get the one bounce and I stood a better chance of the hopeful collapse.(the description may not seem exact, but once it occurs for you -you will understand.)
Again the collapse takes multiple forms and may not resort in the one-birder, but it does happen. On most of my successful attempts, the bird did NOT take out the right tower but did take out most of the tent and poles. Then the middle tower collapsed both right and left to bring down the remaining structures.
Thanks @woodpecker I will keep trying; )
@communistpride congrats on high score; ) can you share which strat you used? Was it a one birder or 2 ? Any details certainly appreciated; )
2 birds. 1st red bird to the top vertical plank, with the 2 stone blocks. 2nd bird to far right lower barrel, causing it to topple. I was lucky and there wasn’t a lot of debris left. Could not get it in one bird.
high arc on top, bird roll to the right
here a video with 135k:
https://youtu.be/qRvpTqfQRqo
I am filled with dread on this level when even the @comex666 video doesn’t get above average… lol
I am positive, though, that that method will work. :)
