Beach Volley level 5-11 is one of the most difficult levels in Angry Birds Rio. Our first strategy is to fire the Red bird into the top of the left structure. Launch Blu & Jewel at a similar trajectory, speeding through the top of the middle palm tree and into the right tower. The key to proper destruction is to take out the sand blocks in the bottom-left, clearing all marmosets. The score in the video below is 110,120.
We’ve seen a lot of folks are having trouble with this level so we’ve combined a few strategies seen in the comments to create another way of achieving 3 stars on this level. We’ve also included notes in the video to hopefully help describe what needs to happen in the strategy. NOTE: YouTube notes and annotations don’t show up on all mobile devices. You know what, there have been so many levels (especially in Rio) that are hard to beat WITHOUT getting 3 stars. I think it’s genuinely refreshing that this one is so challenging to get good at, hasn’t been a level this challenging (or fun) in a long time.
omg. You guys rock. I been trying this level for 2 weeks. I neglected the kids, kicked the cat more than once, got a pile of washing up taller than a large dog. I think my wife has gone (not sure… Haven’t looked for days) the post is blocking the front door. And I think I might need a shower. Work keep ringing but I ignore it. And I’ve lost 28 lbs. And FINALLY I find this website try the 2nd solution and crack it on the 2nd go I’m elated. Now, where’s the wife? :-)

All of the Angry Birds games that been released i have cleared with three stars and found every golden fruits etc etc…. So i CAN play AB’s games and Damn good too….
But this really beats me …. Ten and out !!!
Try the method in the 2nd video. Many users seem to have success copying (to some degree) that method. This is indeed a difficult level to 3-star.

Idea: STOP PLAYING for 24hours. You’re probably getting frustrated and not thinking about it properly. Come back to it tomorrow with a fresh and open mind. You might find you get it quickly then.

But ? I took out all monkeys with two Birds but all i get is around 90,000 and One star ?
And i have destroyed almost everything , with all Birds and just got around 90-100 thousend points. This is very difficult !! Have Played this level 850 times now !!! Damn !
BEACHVOLLEY MASTERED !!! YEEEAH !! Got it at last after 858 tryes, did it as shown in the second video. Got 115,280 points, and One Bird left. THANKS FOR ALL THE HELP ÖN THIS SITE. And thank you Pete for your words of wisdom. It really helped to stop trying and just do something else for a while . Damn this was Hard to beat !! My girlfriend isnt so happy, … Who cares, now i can continue playing Angry Birds, yeah !

this level is awful. Ready to throw the iPad. Going to try all suggestions.
No kidding!! I thought Level 17 on the Christmas edition was shambolic but this is just ridiculous.

I’m tired and frustrated, impossible to get 3 star, I’d been trying this for more than a week in a daily basis. None of the strategies have work…..hate this level!!
It’s not impossible, but it is very very difficult. Hardest Rio level thus far.
Just achieved 131,500.
Start by taking out the blocks under the 2nd tree. Aim the bird a tiny amount over level and you can take out all the crates in the middle and most of the stuff to their left.
It’s fairly obvious from there!
Help..how do you get lil red past the first tree to take out blocks under second tree? I have tried but he only takes out 2 sand blocks…ty for help:)
The second video is pretty well detailed with annotations.

FINALLY got 3 stars 127470 and two birds left – thanks for the 2nd vid, it seems like i’ve been trying to crack this for years.
132800 scored Took out blocks under 2nd tree then used blue and yellow bird to finish,am convinced can be done with 2 birds only,came very close yesterday,was so amazed by first score that made a cock up with blue bird,very frustrating though
Did it with 2 birds yesterday ,first bird took out practally everything to third palm tree ,then blue bird under third palm and took out base of last structure with total collapse Score 139090. The main factor for a high score is how the second palm tree falls as it stops the structure falling completely,even if you get the second palm tree and all the sand underneath out it won’t always collapse ,but send the blue bird low and generally it will all collapse and then finish with yellow bird,for a high 3 star score
I cannot get this one no matter which way I try. Have been working on it for hours today. I may have to give up on 3 stars. I was only off by 130 pts!
Don’t give up! Use a combination of both videos trial and error you will get it.

113,000 and an even easier way:
1) red bird like the red bird in the second video
2) second bird aimed low. does not have to be shot like in the video — just low enough to clear out most boxes and most of the tower. this will leave only a few sand blocks to the left of the center crate
3) yellow bird into center crate (through sand blocks)
4) white bird shot exactly the same as yellow bird. explode bomb where crate was. this will cause the bird to fly up and to the right and take out the blocks/tower on the right side of the screen.
113,000+ much more easily than either video!

I’ve heard others say that once they complain about a level, things work out. So here goes: what in gods name does a person have to do???!!!! NOTHING gets me over 107,400. No method. Other than the problem where I only show 14/15 bananas this is the only thing in Rio not yet accomplished. How about lowering the requirement already?!
Thankyou!!!! It’s been driving me mad, had three stars on them all bar No 11! Just done it, I followed the second instructions due to previous comments! It worked, although I fired the 2nd blue bird across instead of up straight into the air!
I got 113k points, it took about 30 mins of non stop trying.

This level took a couple of weeks out of my life! Finally got 113K with a kazillion tries :( following the first video! And due to a lot of luck….thx for the help
Finally had a perfect storm with the first 3 birds: 122800. Just kept working at each shot until I was able to put 3 perfect ones together.
After getting 109.760 and risking dumping my iPhone in a fit, I looked for another method. I got it with this method after just a dozen tries.
NOTES:
The only shot that needs mastering is the fourth with the white bird. You can pretty much fumble around with the others.
I don’t bother to hit the first palm with the blue bird. If there’s enough space, shoot it right over the stump aiming for the sand.
Holy that was rough, finaly got it using this this method, on 3rd try. You’ve save the Ipod from certain destruction……..
I got 3 stars while trying to go for the hidden fruit.
I found a way to 3-bird this level with 129,940!
Red Bird just like in the 2nd video,but with luck,he clears the structure with the crates.
Blu & Jewel just like Yellow Bird in 2nd video,but does some damage.
Yellow Bird clears the right structure and the small crates.
White and Red Bird giving 20,000 extra points for 129,940!

My strategy was to follow the 2nd video. I did it with 3 birds giving me 120550.
well I came back to improve all my score in Beach Volley and after reading all of these post…I Think I will keep my original 117590 and move on…YIKES!!!
