Beach Volley level 5-11 is one of the most difficult levels in Angry Birds Rio. Our first strategy is to fire the Red bird into the top of the left structure. Launch Blu & Jewel at a similar trajectory, speeding through the top of the middle palm tree and into the right tower. The key to proper destruction is to take out the sand blocks in the bottom-left, clearing all marmosets. The score in the video below is 110,120.
We’ve seen a lot of folks are having trouble with this level so we’ve combined a few strategies seen in the comments to create another way of achieving 3 stars on this level. We’ve also included notes in the video to hopefully help describe what needs to happen in the strategy. NOTE: YouTube notes and annotations don’t show up on all mobile devices. The score in the video below is 114,630.

Very frustrating!!! Had 3 stars & all melons within a couple of hours of update – except for this level!!!!! Can get 105,000 with great difficulty!!! Any trick to the blue bird I’m missing? Thanks!

Red Bird: Launch into the second palm tree so it breaks through. Quite a bit of the front structure should fall.
Blu & Jewel: Launch lightly straight up so they come down after the first palm tree. Tap to have them take out the bottom of the crates. Should be nothing between you and sand.
Yellow Bird: Blast through the sand, taking out as much as possible. (You may beat the level here, but I didn’t)
White Bird: Bomb what’s left.
Red Bird: +10k

That level really frustrated me yesterday night. But with your description I got the three stars in 3 tries
i use a slight variant, aim red bird at leaves of first palm and contnue to take out the sand below the second palm. This should collapse the entire front structure and crates if you are lucky. Still figuring out how to get highest score from there but launching blu against the third palm should finish it off, 116k so far but I recon around 130k should be possible

Currently siting at 71 for beach volley…my goal is to break the 3.5 barrier…then I might actually have to get work done…heh
I used this method as well. This was quite some time ago and for some reason, my score was deleted so i reinstated it.

OMG! After about an hour of complete frustration, I just had a once in a lifetime shot. Shot the red bird and it brushed the palm leaves and hit the structure-I didn’t mean to shoot so high, but it wiped out most of the structure, crates and sand. Shot Blu and Jewel hitting middle palm 3/4 up and it wiped out nearly everything else
126,800. I couldnt repeat it if my life depended on it.

I wish that I had been a bit more specific, although I’m glad that this helped lisa. Whatever I did, I havent been able to repeat it today!
@DocTonyNYC — I can almost see this happening, but it isn’t happening for me. I think it truly is a once in a lifetime, or twice in 2 lifetimes, shot. This should have been in blue for alt. strat. Maybe someone else with more patience would have gotten it to work. Who knows, maybe all the really high scores were done this way? You were quite a ways there.
I don’t recall, but I’m not sure if the blue for alt strat was avaiable in May 2011. I see Slim, above me, is in blue, but he may have done that later.
Anyway, given my lack of description, it’s maybe not really a viable strat anyway.

Just got 132,390. I have played this level for about 3 hours and my previous high was 109,780. I did it by shooting the red bird through the leaves of the first tre and somehow taking out most of the first structure with it. The I shot blu and jewel under the second structure and tooh out most ofthe rest of the level. Lucky shots, but urease Ed them after the time I put in. The first shot was the key.

I hate this level, I’ve tried about 400 times I think so far.
There always seems to be one level which is practically impossible and yet others I get 3 stars on by using 1 bird first time around.
Am keeping the faith but it’s not easy :(
(I have 109’750 points but I can’t get anywhere near that again)
Oof, after another fair few hours and I reckon around 1,000 attempts…. I finally have 3 stars! With 110,100 points. I think I’ve just about scraped it with that but at least I got there.
I spent most of the weekend doing this level!

I finally did it. Don’t even want to know how much time I wasted. I ended with 110500 and I am a happy camper! I tried to follow AMslimfordy but came down after Third tree and then used the yellow bird to finish off. Whatever I did it worked.
133470. Clip the leaves on the top of the first palm tree and then break into the sand below the 2nd tree. With some serious luck the tree clips the tower and brings the whole lot down and smashes the crates. I finished the rest off with the blue bird. It takes a lot of luck and even more attempts to pull it off. Not managed it again since
This level is so hard, I hv taken everythg out high score of 106k & still can’t get 3 stars!!!! WTH!!!!! so frustrated! Watched the videos & still no 3 stars>=|
this is my last last one and I have done it maybe 200 times and cannot get 3 *** only 2!!! whats the secret??
We’ll be uploading a new strategy soon, which is a mix of some of the other strategies seen in the comments. I’ve been able to achieve 3 stars multiple times with this one. It’ll be up soon!

It’s all in the first red bird !!!! Gotta just skim the leaves of the second tree and blow the support triangle block under the boxes. Then continue as in the second vid. I’d you can finish with 2 birds left your in the money :-) :-)
After a week of trying this method, and many bad words, the red bird toppled the first set of blocks and the blue bird sailed through the sand under the middle palm, clearing everything in its path…..134,320 points
FINALLY!!! Tried the second method after too many times to count using the first and finished with 123670…YEAH! Thx SO much!
the secret lies in destroying the entire front section with the first 2 birds. If you shoot the first bird into the first tree and bust it out, and then aim blue down towards the new tree line, if you hit it right you’ll take out the entire building and base pyramid. From there, use the yellow bird to take out the third tree and the majority of that building. Then use the white bomber bird to take out the final buildings remains and the monkey should go with it. I got a top score of 130,010 with this method
Yeah, this is easily the most difficult item in Beach Volley. Been stuck at approx. 108K forever, but I will re-attack using strategy #2 above.
I made it over my high of 108,000 to 109,000 and still did not get 3 stars!!! I’m spending waaaay too much time on this level. What do you have to get over your
high level to get 3 STARS?
Pretty sure that 110,000 is the min 3 star score threshold.

Thank the Lord!!! The second vid helped me get thru after gord only knows how long trying…only one prob…am missing a Melon…Have 14..but for the life of me cant find the 15th!!! Will carry on persevering!!! Thanks guys…look forward to the next espisode…any idea when it’s coming out???

Used the second vid. Got it on the third try.
126370 using three birds. Shot first red bird just like in 2nd video, took down whole first structure. Blue bird I angled thru the sand blocks into second structure, almost took all of it out. Finished with yellow bird.
OMG! I used the 2nd video above and finally got to 113450 on this level. I thought this level was going to be the death of me! You basically have to destroy almost everything without using the last bird. Good Luck!
I still can’t get this one and it’s the only one stopping me from completing it!
It seems quite a few people have had success with the method in the 2nd video. But this is definitely the hardest of the lot.
