Our strategy for Mighty Hoax level 5-10 is to fire the Blue bird flat, splitting through the window of the main structure and popping at least three pigs on the right side. Fire the Red bird into the highest stone triangle to pop the leftmost pig, and ricochet into the mustachioed pig. The score in the video below is 52,100.
Version 2022:
Same method, 1 bird finish.
The front wooden roofpart rolled back on top of 2 blue birds striking mr moustache, then striking the wooden fishing rod pushing it onto the boat-pig.

Me too :)
Got a video of this one birdie!
Yup that’s the same method. Nice vid.
indeed confirmed
Same here I got a one bird finish by accident. I almost destroyed my score though cause I had no idea the first bird could do the level and I was so close to launching the red one Im so glad I didnt though.
Hi E-Star. Just going through some old levels and came across your video. Impressive. I see it was made about a year ago. I’ve been trying to replicate it but not having any luck at all. Is this shot still possible do you think? Or, have the updates since, changed it’s dynamic to make it impossible to do now? Be interested to know what you think and if anyone else on here has managed this shot recently.
@steviep147. I went back to this level a few weeks back. estars video method is still valid as I finally succeeded with the 1 bird shot. Hundreds of reps and luck is the answer. A very frustrating level indeed as I recall striking the pig in the boat with the plank a number of times before I got one shot where the plank finally killed the pig. Good Luck here.
Thanks. I’ll give another million tries then!
Three tries this morning and done. Thanks to all those who responded.
@steviep147 et al. Just in case anyone is still wondering. Five years later the great strat by @e-Star still works!
Had lost a bunch of scores, so now rolling thru ABO again.
On iPad, zoomed out, pull blues to just touch hills, activate just past concrete triangle and voila!
In other words – just like the video! Lol.
@e-star video is spot on and still works 8 years later. I was having a little difficulty, because of the old square format, getting the aiming points. I eventually managed it so this video may help iOS users (and maybe Android)

Sadly, for me the @e-star method does not work. My best w/2 birds is 55250. Is there a good method to get 60k?
@E-Star followig you:0 thanks for vids;)
Used the strategy created by AMslimfordy for the ABN site. Worked with 2 birds. Take the points.
E-Star’s one bird strategy also worked but could not get a strong enough push on the wood plank to take out the left pig in the concrete triangles.
Usually, that’s the result that I’m getting. There’s definitely a timing/angle issue that I can’t seem to resolve with E-Star’s method. I’m discovering that if you miss the 1 birder, you’ll have trouble finishing the level with anything close to a decent score.
@truckdriver, what i can tell about timing and angle in @e-star‘s video are as follow :
Angle :
Fully zoom in to find the bigger “tree” (i really don’t have any idea of what are those green circular things on the background) at the back (left) of the slingshot platform. Notice there’s a “crack” on the ground below said “tree”. Put the tip line of your pointy exactly in line with the ground, a little to the right of the “crack” (somewhere around 3/5 of the “tree” base width from left). I’m playing the PC version of the game so i won’t know how to describe “the tip line of your pointy” on other devices. That’s usually the right angle.
Timing (i’ll have to assume this as when to split Blue) :
Wait until it’s somewhere above the pig on boat and let go.
With some minor adjustments, i think @e-star will say yes, LOL.
We need Jay to land somewhere on the roof (unsignificant, shame on him), Jake to bounce off of the helmet pig and break 1 layer of the glass “window”, and Jim to bounce off of grandpa pig and break the other layer. Those were the easy parts. The hard part is we still need to be lucky enough to have the desired effects. @wrw01 & @kathy, waiting for you guys to climb up the board too… :)
It shocked me to find how “tight” the scores are on this level… :D
Split the blue bird before it reaches the top triangular rock. The lowest bird should catch the tip of the triangle and kill the pig below while the other two go on to batter the building. It must be possible to clear the level this way, though I have never done it. The red bird then clears up any remaining pigs. I got 50,100 this way.
Another frustrating level. To break into the top 200 in think it can only be a one birder. Must have come close a hundred times of just leaving the 1st pig in the water. The few times I was able to kill him, either the helmet pig or the mustache pig survived.. Finally after hundreds of resets I finally got the lucky roll of the 3 blue birds that act like bearings pushing the debris to the left with enough speed to finally get them all… Best 2 bird score I could manage was 53800 ranked 230. My only 1 bird score is 59160 now ranked 81.
I see it’s been nearly a year since anyone posted here, but for the record, I have to say that this is one of the most difficult and frustrating levels of all in ABO. I originally got my personal best in Dec ’13 on my iPhone. Now I have upgraded to AB-HD on my iPad, so am redoing the whole of ABO. This level seems to need such pixel-perfect precision to get the one-birder. I have been following @e-star ‘s excellent video, which makes it look so easy, but after literally many hundreds of tries, the nearest I’ve come is just “bruising” that left most pig perhaps 3 times. I cannot even match my original score. I’m stubborn enough to keep trying but… Grrrrrrr!!! :)
Finally got the 1 birder. Thx @e-star. At least 1000 attempts.
Got number 1 second time in three days. Some of these level seem to be easier. Still trying to work out how to post photo. thanks estar for the video.
Here’s the photo. https://angrybir.de/3bVA0jQ
Is anyone going to mention how low the top score is?
My strat is to fling the blues; the low one goes to the shark pig, the middle one pops Foreman Pig and the top one destroys the glass, popping the remaining pigs.
It takes about 30 minutes for the one-birder with my strategy.
61710/1
Aimed very low and split late so that bottom bird takes out left most pig, top bird bounces off top of moustache pig (killing it) before crashing through the glass. Wood topples left and with luck, kills remaining pigs.
61870\1 for top spot. ABO, not Classics. Strategy as above. Nest site refuses to upload screenshot at the moment. Will try later.
using AB Classics… 1 birder similar to that described in the posts above!
