Welcome to the most complete Angry Birds Golden Eggs guide on the web. By following this guide you can unlock all 35 Golden Eggs and enjoy some fun — and sometimes challenging — new levels! Using this guide is simple, just match the number on the image below to the instructions further down the page. Golden Egg #1
Pause any level and press the "?" (help) button in the bottom left hand corner. The Golden Egg will be on the White Bird instruction screen. Note, you have to have unlocked the White Bird before the White Bird instruction screen will appear.
Golden Egg #2Mighty Hoax Level 5-19 (Rocket Ship)
The Golden Egg is located on the right side off the screen directly above the rocket ship. If you zoom out and throw a Yellow Bird in that direction you will see it when the screen moves up a little. You can reach it with either a Yellow Bird or with the White Bird. If you opt to use the White Bird drop a bomb to the right of the wood sticking up on the first tower and the bird will take off and hit the Golden Egg (probably easier to use the Yellow Bird).
Golden Egg #5
On the main screen press the "i" (credits) button and watch the credits all the way to the end and the Golden Egg will appear under the White Bird.
Golden Egg #6Poached Eggs Level 1-8
Tap the treasure chest (I had to tap several times).
PC & Mac users: To open the treasure chest, depress the caps-lock key then click and hold the left mouse button over the treasure chest and then type open.
Golden Egg #8Mine and Dine Level Selection Screen
v3.3.0 and higher: Currently obtained on the headlamp of the smaller pig in the Mine and Dine Level Selection Screen.
v3.2.0 and lower: Originally obtained on the episode select screen double-tap the sun below the levels (bottom center).
Golden Egg #9Mighty Hoax Level 4-7
Zoom out and Golden Egg will be on top of the cliff on the right. Aim and hit it with the Yellow Bird.
Golden Egg #10Danger Above Level 6-14
Break yellow balloon under the treehouse. You can bounce the Yellow Bird off the tree or use the Boomerang Bird.
Golden Egg #11Danger Above Level Selection Screen
Once on the Danger Above Level Selection Screen, drag the screen to the left until you can't go any further. You'll see the Golden Egg hidden on the right past the last group of levels.
PC & Mac users: You have to click inside the window and then drag.
Golden Egg #13Danger Above Level 8-15
The Golden Egg is under the slingshot platform. To get it just bounce a Yellow Bird off the trampoline on the bottom right across from the Golden Egg or use Boomerang Bird.
Golden Egg #14The Big Setup Level 9-14
Zoom out and if you look closely you will see the Golden Egg on the bottom right hiding under a hard hat. Use a Boomerang Bird to hit it.
Golden Egg #16The Big Setup Level 11-15
Zoom out to see the whole level and you will see the Golden Egg to the left below the slingshot. Hit it with the Boomerang Bird.
Golden Egg #18Ham 'Em High level 12-12
Destroy the trophy in the middle of the level that sits between the two piles of jewels. This one is not easy to get!
Golden Egg #19Ham 'Em High level 13-10
First zoom out. Now launch a white bird and at the right time tap the screen to launch him up in the air to hit the Golden Egg.
Golden Egg #20Ham 'Em High level 14-4
First zoom all the way out and you'll see the Golden Egg on the top of the cliff to the far right. Launch a yellow bird at a high trajectory and tap him at just the right time to arch him up and over to the Golden Egg. Note, on PC/Mac this was formerly Golden Egg #22.
Golden Egg #21
Obtain 3 stars on all levels of Ham 'Em High, including all the three Facebook levels.
Super Bowl / Rio #22Ham 'Em High level 13-12
Zoom out then shoot a white bird backwards and drop an egg bomb on the back side of the hill. We were the first ones to find this secret Golden Egg. We have a much more detailed walkthrough and post about this level here. Note, on PC/Mac this was formerly Golden Egg #20.
Golden Egg #23Mine And Dine level 15-12
Zoom out and you'll see the Golden Egg sitting on top of ridge. Aim a yellow bird at a high trajectory (click for screenshot) and time the speed burst to get the Golden Egg. You can also get it with a white bird, though it might be a little trickier.
Golden Egg #24Mine And Dine level 16-9
Zoom out and the you'll find Golden Egg is sitting on top of the cave on the right. You can use your first yellow bird to take out the stone structure above the slingshot. This makes for a slightly easier shot, but you don't have to do this. Aim the second yellow bird and hit the speed burst at the right time to nail the Golden Egg. Timing is tricky, so it may take a couple times. When in doubt, just watch the video walkthrough.
Golden Egg #26Mine And Dine level 17-12
Zoom out and you'll see a treasure chest sitting up high on top of the second rock ledge. Burn your red and white birds and then shoot a yellow bird at a very high arch so it clears the front ledge. Time the speed burst so it clears the first and second ledge and nicks the top left corner of the treasure chest.
Golden Egg #27Birdday Party Cake 2 Level 6
Zoom out and you'll see the Golden Egg sitting up on a ledge on the top right hand side of the level. Burn the Blue Birds and nail it with your Yellow Speedster.
Golden Egg #28Birdday Party Cake 3 Level 14
The Golden Egg is not visible, but it is certainly in this level. To reveal the Egg, destroy the TNT cake on the left side of the structure. In doing so, the Egg will appear behind the slingshot platform. Use the last Boomerang bird, flung backwards, to reach it.
Golden Egg #29Red's Mighty Feathers level 24-8
The Golden Egg is not visible, but rather hidden in the motor suspended high above the level. It's a very tricky shot to reach, but the Yellow bird is your best bet for cutting the rope holding the motor.
Golden Egg #30
Obtain 3 stars on all classic levels of Red's Mighty Feathers -- namely 24-1 through 24-15. You do not need to 3-star the Egg Defender Levels.
Golden Egg #31Short Fuse level 26-15
The Golden Egg is not visible, but rather hidden under the slingshot platform. Use the Boomerang bird to enter the cave and obtain the Egg.
Golden Egg #32BirdDay 5 Level 30-15
The Golden Egg is high above the level, out of sight unless you zoom out. A well-shot Yellow bird can reach it, if you dare.

Special RED Golden Egg (#33 - iOS Only)
This special Golden Egg level was added in support of (RED)'s fight to end AIDS. The level is unlocked by simply tapping the Golden Egg that appears at the bottom of the episode selection screen.
Golden Egg #34Golden League Sticker
The Golden League sticker Golden Egg is found hidden in the Golden League sticker in the Angry Birds Mighty League.
Golden Egg #35BirdDay 7 Stickers
The BirdDay 7 Golden Egg is found hidden in one of the BirdDay 7 stickers in the Angry Birds Mighty League.
King Pig Level
In the v2.2.0, a new "Golden Egg"-like level called the "King Pig Level" was released for iPad (other platforms in v2.3.0). This level is unlocked by obtaining three stars on all levels up to and including Birdday Party. For more information, read more in the v2.2.0 release post.

Hi, I have three stars in every level of angry birds but at the end I have only 17 stars showing. I’ve accomplished all 17. Online though I see 22 I think it is stars showing. I’ve updated angry birds but still only show 17. Why? If I find out how to get the stars updated stars what else does it do to the game? I’m thinking about leaving it alone at this point since everything there is in the game I have has been done/accomplished: all stars, all points. What do you think? Also, I have all stars on the seasons (though I don’t have the Easter update) and have the three star level (egg) as well as one regular egg is all 4 seasons. Am I missing something? Thanks for your help!
What are you playing on and what version does it show that you have (can be found in the info screen)?
I am playing on a T-Mobile 3G Slide. The regular Angry Birds is v1.4.2 and the Seasons is v1.3.0

You have the right amount of Golden Eggs for the v1.4.2. You need to update to v1.5.3 to get the rest of the GEs.
Thank you, I have now updated. I have a question though about the eggs. With the levels before the outline for the eggs were already at the end they just weren’t colored in until we actually found them. I checked after the Ham em high update and there was outline of eggs. Is this level different? Do the eggs only appear after you have found them? Thanks again for all of your help!

You are correct. With the exception of the first maybe… 4 eggs? all the eggs now are hidden on the GE Page until found.

On the PC you have to click inside the level window and drag to the far left past chapter 8. Just keep dragging and you will see the Golden Egg (keep dragging and it will pop up). Here is a video in case you still need help.

Those are what you receive if you get Total Destruction with the MIghty Eagle, so obviously you have to have purchased it.
LOL I am getting such a kick out of reading people’s comments…do they read or pay attention to anything? Cracks me up! Anyhow…I play on the iPad…have all three games, three stars on all levels and all golden eggs, bananas, etc. My question is that I don’t know how to get the stars on two of my golden eggs from the original game. The first I believe is egg #4…it is the center egg at the top of my first page of eggs, It pulls up the various birds that make sounds when tapped…am I supposed to play them in a certain order? I’ve tried everything I can think of.
Also, same game, second screen of golden eggs…there is an egg that pulls up a screen with the large red bird at the bottom, then shadows of pigs in rows and columns at the top…they appear when tapped…there is a lighted column that moves across the screen…again, I have tried everything I can think of but no star yet.

Yeah, I’m beginning to wonder if they left some of these off the Android version (I use a Samsung Galaxie S). In the original AB, Mighty Hoax, Level 19, I’ve zoomed out, but see no egg above the rocket ship. I’ve lofted the yellow bird as high as possible then shot him to the right off the screen…no egg. I’ve gone as high and to the right as possible…no egg. Yet when I go back to the golden egg screen, I still have no #2 egg. Sadness…
You can’t see the Golden Egg above the Rocket Ship on an iPhone either. You have to shoot the bird up there and get lucky. It’s there, trust me.
I have the Mytouch 4g with the v1.5.3 of angry birds. It only gave me the option to locate 6 golden eggs # 5, 8, 3, 6 I have found. But I can’t seem to locate #1. I know I hit pause on any game and go to the white bird slide…. But it won’t let me go past the yellow bird slide.
You probably haven’t unlocked the White Bird yet, thus there are no instructions. Once you play a level with the White Bird, try again. Should be there ;-)
How do you get the stars on the 12th and 4th eggs? What do you have to do, make the birds do a song?

There is no Golden Egg #22 at this time. There are 22 GE’s, but one of them is the Super Bowl / Rio GE, which isn’t numbered. As of writing the numbered Golden Eggs stop at 21.

Hi there! Thanks for all of the fun and info. I needed cheats on the eggs that were other than “take downs”, musical etc so thank you for those, I just didn’t have the patience. My question: I got all three stars and all of the eggs for every level. What I need to know is will you be expanding on the original angry birds or can I delete it and now go on to Easter on the seasons since I have finished all other levels and eggs there? The reason I am asking is because between the two of them I have no space left on my phone for any other applications. As much as I’d hate to do it I need to delete angry birds if it will go no further. Otherwise hmmm I’ll have to figure out what to do about no space. Thanks again!

That being said, Rovio has announced that “Episode 6” of Angry Birds will be out towards the end of May.
Also, Rio updates next week; and Seasons will update before summer. (All sources: Twitter)
Just so you’re aware we aren’t actually the creators of the game, just a fan site. BUT I can still answer your questions. Yes, Rovio (the creator of the game) is planning updates to the original Angry Birds. I think last I heard was an early summer ETA. So you really don’t want to delete your game or else you’ll have to redo it all to play the new levels. If you really want to keep your game progress I’d try to find some more space elsewhere. And remember Angry Birds is a VERY light game, it’s less then 20MB which is really only above 5 MP3s, so deleting it isn’t going to get you very much extra space anyway. Good Luck!
On Golden Egg 4 there is no star but there is not a board to play just a picture of each of the birds and so forth am I missing something?
If there is no star, then you haven’t solved the egg yet. Check out the videos on the star walkthrough page and it’ll show you how to get the star.

The update for PC should be out soon, according to Rovio. The update will include Ham ’em High 14.
Can’t wait for lvl 14 (PC). Completed 3* all levels & starred all golden eggs/bananas/pineapples/melons. Even completed all 7 Chrome levels 3*.

is there any way to get the mighty eagle without buying it and if i use the mighty eagle to complete a level, will i have 3 stars?
Nope, you have to buy the Mighty Eagle. It’s a one time, 99 cent purchase so you’re not breaking the bank. And if you complete a level using the the mighty eagle you do not get stars, actually the scoring system changes as soon as the button is pressed. You are now trying to destroy as much on screen as possible to get the feather on the level.
I bought the mighty eagle on the original angry birds, can it carry onto Rio?? Bc I don’t see it in the top left corner anymore…?
No, It does not carry over. At least not yet. Currently the original Angry Birds is the only one with the Mighty Eagle. Though when is DOES come out for the other games it’s still not quite clear if you’ll have to repurchase it for the other Angry Birds Editions. Guess we have to wait and see.
Hey Fuji, I received a Direct Message (available on the Updates Page) that says that Mighty Eagle will (hopefully) be a one-time-purchase across all three versions of the game, once active. Rovio has said this is their goal, and it’s the reason why it is taking so long.

If you’re an achievement finder fo crystal games, then you’ll want the mighty eagle. 3 or 4 of the achievements account for finding this many feathers. I already have feathers for all of world 1-3!

The Mighty Eagle isn’t available for the PC…yet (right now it’s only available on iOS devices).
Is there a golden egg on Danger Above level 7-2 because I see one and I don’t know how to get it.

It doesn’t. We just added that for reference. It will fill in with a star like the rest of the Golden Eggs.
