Welcome to the most complete Angry Birds Golden Eggs guide on the web. By following this guide you can unlock all 35 Golden Eggs and enjoy some fun — and sometimes challenging — new levels! Using this guide is simple, just match the number on the image below to the instructions further down the page. Remember there is a video walkthrough for each Golden Egg that shows its location (how to unlock it) and how to obtain the star. For a complete list of the update history click here.
Golden Egg #1
Pause any level and press the "?" (help) button in the bottom left hand corner. The Golden Egg will be on the White Bird instruction screen. Note, you have to have unlocked the White Bird before the White Bird instruction screen will appear.
Golden Egg #2Mighty Hoax Level 5-19 (Rocket Ship)
The Golden Egg is located on the right side off the screen directly above the rocket ship. If you zoom out and throw a Yellow Bird in that direction you will see it when the screen moves up a little. You can reach it with either a Yellow Bird or with the White Bird. If you opt to use the White Bird drop a bomb to the right of the wood sticking up on the first tower and the bird will take off and hit the Golden Egg (probably easier to use the Yellow Bird).
Golden Egg #5
On the main screen press the "i" (credits) button and watch the credits all the way to the end and the Golden Egg will appear under the White Bird.
Golden Egg #6Poached Eggs Level 1-8
Tap the treasure chest (I had to tap several times).
PC & Mac users: To open the treasure chest, depress the caps-lock key then click and hold the left mouse button over the treasure chest and then type open.
Golden Egg #8Mine and Dine Level Selection Screen
v3.3.0 and higher: Currently obtained on the headlamp of the smaller pig in the Mine and Dine Level Selection Screen.
v3.2.0 and lower: Originally obtained on the episode select screen double-tap the sun below the levels (bottom center).
Golden Egg #9Mighty Hoax Level 4-7
Zoom out and Golden Egg will be on top of the cliff on the right. Aim and hit it with the Yellow Bird.
Golden Egg #10Danger Above Level 6-14
Break yellow balloon under the treehouse. You can bounce the Yellow Bird off the tree or use the Boomerang Bird.
Golden Egg #11Danger Above Level Selection Screen
Once on the Danger Above Level Selection Screen, drag the screen to the left until you can't go any further. You'll see the Golden Egg hidden on the right past the last group of levels.
PC & Mac users: You have to click inside the window and then drag.
Golden Egg #13Danger Above Level 8-15
The Golden Egg is under the slingshot platform. To get it just bounce a Yellow Bird off the trampoline on the bottom right across from the Golden Egg or use Boomerang Bird.
Golden Egg #14The Big Setup Level 9-14
Zoom out and if you look closely you will see the Golden Egg on the bottom right hiding under a hard hat. Use a Boomerang Bird to hit it.
Golden Egg #16The Big Setup Level 11-15
Zoom out to see the whole level and you will see the Golden Egg to the left below the slingshot. Hit it with the Boomerang Bird.
Golden Egg #18Ham 'Em High level 12-12
Destroy the trophy in the middle of the level that sits between the two piles of jewels. This one is not easy to get!
Golden Egg #19Ham 'Em High level 13-10
First zoom out. Now launch a white bird and at the right time tap the screen to launch him up in the air to hit the Golden Egg.
Golden Egg #20Ham 'Em High level 14-4
First zoom all the way out and you'll see the Golden Egg on the top of the cliff to the far right. Launch a yellow bird at a high trajectory and tap him at just the right time to arch him up and over to the Golden Egg. Note, on PC/Mac this was formerly Golden Egg #22.
Golden Egg #21
Obtain 3 stars on all levels of Ham 'Em High, including all the three Facebook levels.
Super Bowl / Rio #22Ham 'Em High level 13-12
Zoom out then shoot a white bird backwards and drop an egg bomb on the back side of the hill. We were the first ones to find this secret Golden Egg. We have a much more detailed walkthrough and post about this level here. Note, on PC/Mac this was formerly Golden Egg #20.
Golden Egg #23Mine And Dine level 15-12
Zoom out and you'll see the Golden Egg sitting on top of ridge. Aim a yellow bird at a high trajectory (click for screenshot) and time the speed burst to get the Golden Egg. You can also get it with a white bird, though it might be a little trickier.
Golden Egg #24Mine And Dine level 16-9
Zoom out and the you'll find Golden Egg is sitting on top of the cave on the right. You can use your first yellow bird to take out the stone structure above the slingshot. This makes for a slightly easier shot, but you don't have to do this. Aim the second yellow bird and hit the speed burst at the right time to nail the Golden Egg. Timing is tricky, so it may take a couple times. When in doubt, just watch the video walkthrough.
Golden Egg #26Mine And Dine level 17-12
Zoom out and you'll see a treasure chest sitting up high on top of the second rock ledge. Burn your red and white birds and then shoot a yellow bird at a very high arch so it clears the front ledge. Time the speed burst so it clears the first and second ledge and nicks the top left corner of the treasure chest.
Golden Egg #27Birdday Party Cake 2 Level 6
Zoom out and you'll see the Golden Egg sitting up on a ledge on the top right hand side of the level. Burn the Blue Birds and nail it with your Yellow Speedster.
Golden Egg #28Birdday Party Cake 3 Level 14
The Golden Egg is not visible, but it is certainly in this level. To reveal the Egg, destroy the TNT cake on the left side of the structure. In doing so, the Egg will appear behind the slingshot platform. Use the last Boomerang bird, flung backwards, to reach it.
Golden Egg #29Red's Mighty Feathers level 24-8
The Golden Egg is not visible, but rather hidden in the motor suspended high above the level. It's a very tricky shot to reach, but the Yellow bird is your best bet for cutting the rope holding the motor.
Golden Egg #30
Obtain 3 stars on all classic levels of Red's Mighty Feathers -- namely 24-1 through 24-15. You do not need to 3-star the Egg Defender Levels.
Golden Egg #31Short Fuse level 26-15
The Golden Egg is not visible, but rather hidden under the slingshot platform. Use the Boomerang bird to enter the cave and obtain the Egg.
Golden Egg #32BirdDay 5 Level 30-15
The Golden Egg is high above the level, out of sight unless you zoom out. A well-shot Yellow bird can reach it, if you dare.

Special RED Golden Egg (#33 - iOS Only)
This special Golden Egg level was added in support of (RED)'s fight to end AIDS. The level is unlocked by simply tapping the Golden Egg that appears at the bottom of the episode selection screen.
Golden Egg #34Golden League Sticker
The Golden League sticker Golden Egg is found hidden in the Golden League sticker in the Angry Birds Mighty League.
Golden Egg #35BirdDay 7 Stickers
The BirdDay 7 Golden Egg is found hidden in one of the BirdDay 7 stickers in the Angry Birds Mighty League.
King Pig Level
In the v2.2.0, a new "Golden Egg"-like level called the "King Pig Level" was released for iPad (other platforms in v2.3.0). This level is unlocked by obtaining three stars on all levels up to and including Birdday Party. For more information, read more in the v2.2.0 release post.

I can’t find the last egg… I have 21 including the superbowl one. I’ve seen pictures that there should be 7 eggs on the second page (including the super bowl one). Which of the above am I missing? :) The five eggs on the 2nd page are 3 in middle row and 3 on bottom row.
You seem to be missing Egg 20 — Ham ’em High 14-4. The eggs are numbered in the image at the top of this post for easy reference.

How do I get the golden egg # 11 if I do not have multitouch? :-S
Can be done without Multi-touch since it can be done on Mac/PC. You just have to slide as much as possible and tap quickly.

How do I beat the last egg u can get it’s on the bottom right corner of the second screen. I have 22 including the superbowl but can’t find instructions for this last one it’s a puzzle one, that musicle instrument one I can’t think of the name.

This Golden Egg # 23 was very easy. In my first try I did it I spent about 4 hours but I did my 15 capitules with 3 Stars an also 15 Mighty eagles an all them. It was really fun. But question when Rovio Will release the Next Episodes 16 and 17…!!

how to find golden eggs in psp
The same way as on other platform. There are some though, such as the treasure chest that seem impossible on the PSP.
Woah, how do you get that one? I have a PSP and I’ve tried it too, how DO you get it?
I never liked Angry Birds on the PSP, I always thought it was too hard.
I am changing computers and when I connect my ipod touch to the computer it says all of my data will be erased from the ipod. how can I back up and save the levels on the game I have completed? I don’t want to play them all over again.
You can follow this article to back up your score files. Alternatively, or better yet, in addition to that you could do a transfer of your itunes library and settings.

If you are transferring from mac to mac then I recommend using Macs built in transfer utility.

I thought I had 3 stars in all the levels and I even have golden egg n4 and I just found out I’m missing a star in level 3-5 that I’m positive I had three because I spent a lot of time trying to get three stars in that level… was there any change to the game that made me lose a star??
You aren’t alone, Sara. There were a few levels that were tweaked in the “Mine and Dine” update, and 3-5 is the most easily recognized. (Check out our forum post for our current list.)
In 3-5, the roof of the structure used to be made of stone, but on Mac/PC it was made of ice. The v1.6.0 update was an attempt to sync these platforms, so now mobile devices have ice roofs. Since it’s easier to tackle, the minimum 3-star score jumped from 89k to 108k.

umm.. i thought u said dt in mobile the roof is made of ice.. bt its still stone on my one.. n ive got the golden egg my getting 3 stars in all levels of porched eggs.. bt couldnt figure out what i had to do now to get a star on dt.. can u pls help..
Have you updated your game to v1.6.0 or higher? If so, then the roof is indeed ice. If not, then the roof will still be stone.

You earn a feather in a particular level by attaining Total Destruction with the Mighty Eagle.
question – how do you find the white bird to unlock it?
You don’t actually find the white bird. After you progress far enough in the game it will be unlocked.

Bah that’s a shame. also, how do I start using the leaderboard? I have 3 stars on every level and now (thanks to you) a star on each egg and would like to get on the leaderboard but I can’t find how to do it anywhere!
If you’re referring to the leaderboards here you first need to be sure you have an account. If you do, go ahead and sign in. If not, register for one. Once done head to any leaderboard and click the, “How to Enter Your Scores” button for instructions on inputting your scores.
Ok so I got the golden egg #4, when you click on the egg it pops up the pig,birds,slingshot exc. Ummm I’m not getting what to do next. You click on the icons and nothing happens??? Is that it, do you not play anything on this egg? Or is it something super simple I’m just not getting?
If you look at the list above, next to any Golden Egg is a link that says “Video & Star Walkthrough“. If you click on that, it will show you how to unlock the star.

Hello, So I did the right combo to unlock the stra on my ipad (clicking the birds and the sling shot and so on…. in the GE part, then the star flashed on the screen but nothing happened after that, the icons are still there but no new world or level appeared….HELP!
That’s all that is done. The puzzle is itself a “level”, and the only goal therein is to unlock the star (done).
Eggs within Eggs?
I realize that eggs are numbered, and putting aside the platform numbering issues discussed elsewhere, we pretty much have a good numbering of them which should validate that we don’t have other eggs out there. However, I am curious if anyone has spent time shooting birds around the various GE levels looking for a hidden “egg in an egg”?
It would be super cool to discover one like this. If I were Rovio, I might even “number” them with letters to keep the existence of them hidden further.
I realize this is highly unlikely, which is why I thought I’d post here to ask before spending a lot of time myself – maybe I can leverage the work of others.
And Rovio, if you read this, maybe it gives you an idea?

Angry birds came pre loaded on my android & don’t have level 15 or anything else. I have all levels completed & 3 stars but don’t want to loose any of them..how do i get the other levels??
Update your app in the Android Market. Your data should not be erased.
I don’t find update in the market..guess since it came preloaded it doesn’t have that option..it only downloads the new version W/ no levels completed.

You should be able to update your app to unlock the second page. The third has not yet been released.

Not so. If you update your app via the AppStore, your progress should remain in-tact. Simply update to unlock the 2nd page of Mine and Dine.

My friend tol me that he got 16 golden melons (click for screenshot). Is it a program’s BUG?
This is indeed a bug that Rovio is aware of. Your friend is actually missing a watermelon. If you watch FujiToast’s video of obtaining the Golden Beachball, you will see his total go from 15/15 to 17/15, so the fact that your friend has 16/15 means he’s missing one. I solved the mystery.
16/15 means the beachball is visible,
17/15 means you got it.
bit disappointed that you have to be on face book to complete as my kids love this game and they are to young for face book quite unfair as I have paid for this app! Is there any chance all levels will be available for those not on Facebook!
I understand your frustration Marie. Originally, you could click the “Like” icon, your device would be redirected to the Facebook page, you could immediately leave and the levels would be unlocked. You did not have to use Facebook at all. I’m not sure if this has changed, but if it has, you can always create a dummy account and delete it immediately thereafter.
I actually created a fake Facebook acciount under my cats name, which takes about 5 mins. Worked perfectly. I suffer from paranoia that rovio will use my personal details to somehow take over the world. It’s a bit scary how much information they must have about us??

Unfortunately, the Mighty Eagle isn’t available for Android devices yet. Probably at some point in the future.

On the Mac version, it is not necessary to play the Facebook levels to get Golden Egg #21.
True for both Mac and PC, since they don’t have the Facebook levels at all.
Is there a picture reference for the PC version? Our eggs are all on one page and don’t corespond exactly to the pictures above, so I can’t tell what I am missing or not
Hi Julia – I literally just created one that you can see here. Notice the arrows connecting Golden Egg #20 and #22. Those Golden Egg numbers are flip-flopped on the PC and Mac. That means when looking at the walkthrough text above you want to use #20 for #22 and #22 for #20. I will be updating this page in the near future to better account for the discrepancies we see between devices.
