Angry Birds Facebook Surf and Turf level 18 is fairly easy and can be done with one boomerang bird. Just fire him and at a medium arch and have him loop back so he destroys the bottom wood beams supporting the structure. With a few tries all the pigs will come crashing down. The score in the video below is 55,830.
Our Angry Birds Facebook walkthroughs show you how to obtain 3 stars, most of the time without the aid of Power-Ups (we do make exceptions). If you have a different strategy feel free to leave a comment below; however, don't just post your score via the comments, as that's what the Facebook leaderboard is for.
One shimmy can bring this whole level down. But don’t think that you will get the high score so quickly. I’ve spent several hours on this level doing nothing but shaking it to death every 10 seconds. It never ceases to amaze me that things will never fall the same way twice in this game.
It never ceases to amaze me that you can get a different amount of points by destroying the exact same stuff twice. I cleared everything without touching the three wooden cubes with the fruit inside, so I could see how many points were possible, and each time I get a slightly different score — weird.
Keep in mind that you get points from destroying things and also from the small impacts between the blocks/birds.
How much have you spent on power ups? I think the one change they need to make on the leaderboards is to note if and what type(s) of power ups were used.
@toucan that’s a fine thought. I think the Admins will just let the comments do the talking. Most users who attain a super high score will usually tell you exactly how they did it. Otherwise, yes it can look a little suspicious. Trust me, I’ve been there.
@Bill do you buy power ups? I refuse to pay for them. Consumables in a game like this is a rip off. They should reward regular players with loads more power ups than they do at the moment.
@Toucan I wholeheartedly agree with you. Yes I do buy them, I’m not going to say how much I spend… probably more than the average bear. Call me a sucker. If it wasn’t for the competition, I probably wouldn’t even bother with them. I’ve also come to the end of my rope with it, so I probably won’t be buying any more in the future either, i.e. I won’t be as high on the leaderboards for future releases
Just like you said @dollarbill2208, and I only used the Quake once.
@werewolf69 great score for just one run! keep it up.
AAAAAAGGHHHHH!!! Another one dropped to Mhack.
My initial strategy was to SS and KS the first bird, resulting in a 57k score. But after reading Bill’s method, I tried one little quake and everything just… fell.
i did’nt remember my strategy, how ever it was a one birder,* it depends on the release of the 1st bird
oh sorry! It was posted for the wrong level, sure it was a one birder without power ups,
BQ only!!!!
BQ alone was not working for me, but the new slings allow for a new strategy. First BQ, then follow by SS boomerang AND using the new wood sling. The aiming is tricky and you still rely on luck, but quite a good score can be made.
