White bird high arc to the middle of the 2 “stethoscopes”?? dropping egg. May detonate at least one of the TNT’s. Blue bird to the glass blocks on middle tower. 187k

Wow I*ve never spent sooo much time trying to get a low 3*star score!
This level is very unstable and it’s almost impossible to avoid a higher score even if you waste birds.

So far I’m down to 119,040 = 2* and 121,280 = 3*.

Can anyone help with 120k?

@steely59, I can help, 120k is *3 minimum … Ending these higher scoring levels for a low score isn’t as easy as some people may think

120040 was 3*
119580 was 2*

Like the video except go over the cake and then drop the egg. 1-birder for 191990

Followed your advice, but was to late on dropping the egg. Everything came down. Thanks

Excellent strategy @dmsral! And very repeatable. Thanks!

I just hit the second blue claw with the egg dropping bird without dropping egg and the whole structure fell apart like a cheap piggie house. 179174

195170/1 by initiating the same chain reaction as in @dmsral ‘s comment above but in a slightly different way: i was sending the bird (much like the video but only) just over the left structure (as close as possible), releasing the egg very late (just before the bird hits the cake) but not quite as late as possible such that the bird goes through the two long `vertical’ pieces of glass, then drops onto the pig taking it out; upon the bird falling on the horizontal stone slab, the tnt drops and sets of the chain reaction as usual. see the following picture for the trajectory and destruction in case of my currently best score:

https://www.angrybirdsnest.com/members/vuelva/album/picture/12467/

the advantage (compared to sending the bird to the right of the cake) should be that the egg already pre-damages or at least destabilises the left structure, in particular if you manage to drop it onto the horizontal wood right of the pig with the headphones (?). the shot is much more tricky though i find, as both the direction and the point of release should be accurate up to only a few pixels: too far to the right and the bird will hit the left structure; too far to the left and the egg cannot be dropped onto the left structure; release too early or too late and the bird does not break through the glass, drops onto the tnt directly, or goes over it, all of which are bad. still, i think it is worth the effort: scored five times more than 191.5k with it and based on situations that occurred during play i think 200k is possible (that’s why i continued playing it after my previous best of 193k).

Used the @vuelva variation on @dmsral‘s strat and did pretty well, but the one that got me the 192K score was slightly different. I bombed the cake directly on that one. The rebounding bird knocked the platform with the rightmost TNT down, and it exploded next to the tower. Falling debris did the rest. BTW, judging from the theme of the puzzle, those rabbit ear looking things are in fact rabbit ears…they are antennae.

This regards the pit in between the sling and the structure. On my Android tablet, I can’t see the bottom of this pit. As a result, I’ve had a few “mystery” rounds where all the pigs were gone, but the game said at least one was still alive. In one case, I was able to fling blindly into the pit and get it. Is the bottom visible on Apple devices?

Hi @jrsquonk. Playing this level for the daily challenge and have come tantalizingly close to a better score using your strat, but still stuck at 190K. Regarding your comment re “mystery rounds” I’ve had the same thing a few times, with the game not ending but no pigs visible. Flinging blues into the pit kills the last pig (can just see the top half of the 5,000 score at the bottom of the screen). So to answer your question, it’s the same on Apple devices – I use iPad Air.

Thanks for the info @PeeJayDee27. Keep on flinging and eventually you’ll get something better.

OK, now that I have a decent score, I’m going to list this as a new strat.

Loft Matilda just barely over the left tower. Drop the egg on the left side of the cake at the last moment. The rebounding bird will do the rest. You want the TNT to drop about midway between the right tower and the middle tower at or just below the level of the now-destroyed cake. Keep on flinging and you will get at least 190K eventually.

I couldn’t get past 191K or so with the @dmsral or @vuelva strats. It was very difficult to get the TNT to drop effectively with @vuelva‘s strat…maybe a 1 in 100 shot. It got too frustrating for me. This may be due to platform differences, as I play on an Android tablet. However, it was hard to argue with his success, so I didn’t!
