A good strategy for Big Setup level 11-13 is to fire the first Big Brother through the horizontal wooden plank between the mustache and helmet pigs. Repeat this shot, and the debris should clear all remaining pigs. The score in the video below is 96,620.
Version 2022:
Alternate strategy:
1. Through glass
2. Area between helmet and mustached pig (same as per video)
Thanks kart where do you get these really cool strategies? Do you just hear about them or do you think hard and shoot carefully?
Thank you upped my game significantly.
First BB into glass so it lifts the stone plank the helmeted is sitting on and the left side will collapse. Next BB into the upper tip are of the stone triangle to push the remaining structure to the right. Third BB into clean up on any remaining pigs or debris to add extra points. Gained 19k+ in points.
Wrw01 strategy is the way to play for high scores .my comments are, 1 shoot BB at ice- glass between 2nd & 3 rd blocks from top. If steel beam is pushed up , and left side is clear of most debris . 2. Shoot 2nd bb at upper stone triangle and hopefully push structure to right & take out pigs. 3 . If all pigs are taken out, shoot long bowling shot , don’t worry about using 3rd bird . If far right pig is still there reset for high scores, other pigs standing, take the shot . Hope this is helpful.
Thank you @wrw01 and @mudshark-70 ! Great tips!
I might add a tip of my own. For those who have trouble lining up the first shot, try this. Pull Terence back in the sling lower than horizontal. Slowly rotate back up till you see the tips of both eyebrows above the top of the sling strap. Then drop back down one or two ” clicks” or pixels till they are just *barely* visible. That has successfully gotten me from a one in twenty shot to a one in five or less shot to drop the front half. Additionally, hit right, the far right pig will go with the first shot too, though I’m not sure that that is preferable over taking it out on shot two.
@swellD — I like your detailed tip, but so far it is not working for me. I thought for sure you played on something other than an iPad. Where does the first bird hit the two vertical stones? When you and others say “the left side collapses,” how much of the left side?
I must admit that it is fun to see the remaining structure nearly explode if the second bird hits the right spot.
@mvnla2 the 1st shot should go as mudshark describes, between the 2nd & 3rd glass squares down from the top. As for clearance of the left side, I’ve found it’s different every time with hugely varying scores. Even if some wooden debris is in front of the stone triangle Terence will cut through it to push everything over.
My current 126k came from 3 birds, the far right piggie was still there on the shelf but rolling Terrence through pushed debris up to knock it off. My best 2 bird score has been 125k.
@mvnla2 I do play on an IPad. That tip was for fully zoomed out. If you play around with that spot adjusting up or down slightly you’ll hit it. And as far as how much, everything in front of a vertical line from the tip of the stone rectangle is what I’m referring to. It’s actually preferable to has the structure cascade down instead of pancake because it helps get rid of the stone portions or at the very least weaken them.
@swellD — Thanks for the explanation. I finally got it to work and got above average, which may be as much as I can hope for. There is also a YuriGolkin video on YouTube, which has at least the same first shot.
BTW, I did know you play on iPad (I checked); I was really hoping for something else.
Thanks @swelld ! I don’t usually find aiming tips particularly helpful, but this one is right on and very useful.
Same strat used here. Although it’s essential for that debris destruction to take place.
Ty @wrw01 for elaborating on kartflyer strat:) it worked well after many tries..I still think I coulda got higher even ..but will try on my next go ’round;) ill put another on ice for ya;)
@kathy Thank you Kathy. I know what you mean about the higher score when reading mudshark70 strategy. For me above average is the present goal. When looking at the Leaderboards I am just amazed and humbled at what some of the great AB players achieve in every level.
@wrw01…wish there was a way to like comments….your strat worked well for me…between you and e-star, i look for @kathy to comment and know it’s a good strategy…every single time.
Fling Long, and Prosper
The strategy is as per the postings above. HOWEVER THIS MAY BE IMPORTANT TO YOU. I have been stuck on the iphone around 119k for some time despite a lot of effort. I tried again on my new iPad (get me!) with the HD Version; same result. Then I tried on the iPad with the normal iPhone app. Well this was a revelation. The level became easy.
Just fyi – that 1st shot through the glass is about a 1 in 20 shot. But it and the bowling shot at the end are the keys to improvement. The last pig can survive the 2nd shot and still be killed with the third shot’s debris, but only if it’s hanging very close to the end anyway.
After 2 straight hrs. of flinging I finally got over avg. but it’s still low compared to the other scores I see posted here, I went from 100k to 114k+.
The key shots here are the glass pile on the left side with very deep penetration into the structure (just like @78rpm states above it’s a 1 in 20 shot). The second shot is the one that makes or breaks your probability of finishing with a high score, especially with lots of destroyed debris or not enough. The third shot is the one that rattles your nerves, you can either do the bowling shot or the shot at the stone triangle if it’s still there. This may be where playing on a PC is a disadvantage, since aiming on a touchscreen is seemingly easier than with a mouse.
It would seem that I’ve reached my zenith, no matter how many times I play it, the score never goes past what I already have. Every time I get a first shot with scores ranging from 55-70k, the second shot goes awry and leaves an impenetrable jumble that even the bowling shot can’t do a thing. I think it’s time I forget about this one and just wait for tonight’s Challenge.
This is definitely a “one more try ” level! But after an hour and a half of ‘one more try’ – have improved original score by 200pts to get (for now! ) 7th place on most improved! Now have to go to get ready for
invasionvisit from g’kids!Sorry meant to thank everyone above for strats!
I did it with 3 birds.
1st dead straight
2nd right into stone triangle
3rd clean up the front follow through all the way to the right, had some nice momentum :)

cc @amslimfordy for the underdog badge ty
3 out of top 4 are PC players on the challenge today so far @werewolf69 so there is hope for you. At least 30% first shot is successful if u it aim dead straight. For 2nd shot u aim right at that triangle no matter what is in front of it unless the diagonal wood under the helmet pig did not break. Right after the 2nd you go back for the next shot by clicking or dragging the screen left, then aim for already damaged debris in front. I never play ABO to be honest but Terrence does reward good aiming and more than sometimes does some crazy bowling, unlike in many Rio levels lol. GL all
oh not killing the helmet pig with 1st shot is an advantage for a non stressing and more accurate 3rd shot also ;)
@crivit, Just because they show their platform as PC, doesn’t mean it’s their only platform.
@werewolf69 I pointed out my strat already its very repeatable I get 125+ scores all the time so stop being stubborn and try it
@crivit, I’m very happy that it worked for you, congrats on Underdog, BTW your method’s the same as a lot of others including myself.
Today was “Your” day, relish it, and you’re absolutely right, I’m very stubborn!
@werewolf69 I didnt read all the strats on this level except going into the glass which I was trying. I dont like you say PC players are in disadvantage cos I think Rovio took well care of that with giving us better aims percentage wise. My wife is crying me being here so these are my last words… tc
@crivit, I’ve already congratulated you on your achievement, and yet you persist, perhaps you misread what I wrote, so I’ll paste it here so you can read it again:
“This may be where playing on a PC is a disadvantage, since aiming on a touchscreen is seemingly easier than with a mouse.”
As you can plainly see, I’ve neither accused nor implicated any players, I’m simply commenting the way I see it.
Thank you and have a nice day.
@werewolf69 have a nice day also I’m not trying to have point just wanted to help
If I don’t get to this tonight, can you remind me tomorrow? Well done @crivit!
@amslimfordy np I know ur busy ty of taking care of my previous request regarding that player on Rio it really bugged me
was always following that strategy, but finally found a consistent way for the 3rd to get that momentum: in case there’s a (damaged) stone slab in the front resting on two small glass blocks, send it on top of it and more often than not it will speed horizontally through all remaining debris. the only thing is that often the 2nd bird is still there preventing the 3rd from taking out everything; and waiting for it to disappear usually makes the level end. still, i’m pretty sure that 137k+ scores are possible (once got a 129.5k score but the rightmost pig, although black-eyed, refused to roll down).
3 birds with the same strategy as everybody.
The first bird directly into the glass pile, like this.
You should score around 60k at this point and half of the top structure should be down.
Then the second bird is aimed at the top of the stone triangle like this, and if done well all the structure will explode to the right.
A nice result is when a pig is left standing on the left side so that you can wait for the second bird to disappear. Here is an example.
Then you can aim at the debris and hope for a bowling effect to clean as much as possible.
This is the result for my best score.
And the highscore screenshot.
More is certainly possible but even after a couple of hours I did not managed it.
Hope it helps.
@asher, excellent description of the strategy especially your observation about being lucky enough to have a pig survive on the left. It is counterintuitive to hope for a surviving pig but the level ends all to quickly after the last pig pops and many times I could not launch the last bird into the debris. Congrats on the high score.
Yes ~ Your tips are quite helpful ~ Thanks!
many thx to @asher for great details
here my video with 124k:
https://youtu.be/RX1djiNPmNg
I finally got my three stars by aiming low, for the glass blocks, with the first bird and then hitting it underneath again. I had to snipe the last guy on the right with my third bird, but finished with a score of 99,070.
oof, my record went from 115k straight to 126k and into top60. That feeling when suddenly all the bits and pieces collapse so easily and a big score comes. I dunno why that sometimes happens but I love it.
