Angry Birds Bad Piggies Level 23-6 Walkthrough

One strategy for Angry Birds Bad Piggies level 23-6 is to fling Red bird towards the top stone block on the right tower to knock it down. Then use a second bird, in a similar fashion, on the first tower. The score in the video below is 96,370.

I aim the first bird a little lower so that it bounces back and takes out the supporting glass beam of the first tower. The boulder on he second tower should roll down with enough force to pop the golden wrench.

Leaves an easy shot to pop the first and second pigs from left. Or, if you feel lucky, try to go for the first golden wrench. I’ve only done it once (and popped the pigs at the same time), but on that occasion I hadn’t popped the other wrench.

Thanks for posting your strategy @f91jsw.
I did the same technique prior to reading any posts with scores in the 95k-104k range. Was going to move on with 104,290 but wanted to try one last time to get into 106k.

Found that the right wrench can be destroyed about 50% of the time with debris fall or the rolling round stone.

1. Had the first Red Bird hit the top vertical stone block on the right structure just above the horizontal stone plank. The RB bounces left and took out the two lower glass beams under the round stone of the left structure. Everything on the right side fell and the gold wrench was destroyed.

2. Now this is where it get interesting. The non-helmeted pig on the left remained so launched the second Red Bird a bit high to hit the pig on its upper half which it did and then it traveled over stone block and ricocheted back to the left to hit the same vertical stone block and push the stone blocks/planks, glass blocks/planks and left gold key off the base platform on the ground where all were destroyed. Just amazed at the destruction and score.

Also had the lever action of the left side glass plank occur about 5 times to take out the left gold wrench over the two days of playing this level. I think this was mentioned below.

112300 with 2 birds.

I have been using the same strategy as @f91jsw for the Daily Challenge.
In fact the one birder is so elusive, I had only one in several hours today.

So here is the trajectory for the first bird.

For the second bird I was aiming at the tip of the horizontal stone plank to break it and try to pop the wench. However I missed it on this attempt so 115k+ is definitely possible here.

Anyway, here is the final result.

And this is the highscore screenshot.

I got both wrenches! 108220 score! same process as video but I aimed higher on the first bird. I looked away for a second and when I looked back there was lots of destruction and the bird had bounced back and down taking out the 2 piece glass beam and eliminated pig 2 from the left. Aimed 2nd bird to split up the first set of two bricks protecting the wrench. I hope my description is clear and helpful! I have never had a high score! Will try to recreate and not take my eyes off!

I can see a possible strategy to get both wrenches. Haven’t been able to pull it off but close. First bird at the first tower about where the horizontal beam is. This should collapse the first tower. Second bird at second tower where the horizontal beam on that tower is. This should collapse the second tower and get the right wrench. Your bird should bounce back and hit the right edge of the beam that sits above the left wrench, topple the structure that surrounds the wrench and get you the wrench.

I had one attempt where the bird bounced back and knocked the front portion of the level to the left, I too wasn’t paying attention so not sure where it hit, almost a 1 birder, only the helmet pig survived and both wrenches were taken out, score would’ve been 110k

My approach before I came here is a variation of @f91jsw ‘s strategy above. First bird just a hair above the horizontal beam on the right structure. If you get enough of a push the boulder will take out the right wrench. Second bird at the horizontal on the left tower, the whole structure should fall. I have never gotten the left wrench. Good luck no matter what strategy you use.

1-birder for almost 111k.
was aiming a bit lower than in the video, but still above the horizontal slab, taking out the right structure by the boulder undermining it. the bird bouncing back should take out the two vertical glass making the left structure collapse to the right. all that was mentioned above already. what was not, is that while the left structure is collapsing the vertical glass (to the left of the helmeted pig) may act as a lever, pushing the left part of the structure to the left, taking out the leftmost pig and the wrench (by stones falling on top of it). this doesn’t happen too often: three times to me in an hour of playing, this time being the first successful one: the first time the right structure did not collapse completely, the second time the helmeted pig was left. higher scores are certainly possible (the collapse of the right structure was not optimal).

Man, I have seen so many times now of 73k and up with one pig too stubborn to die, which would lead to 108k or up. I see how your score is possible for sure, just stuck at 103k right now. I have several screenshots at this point, and I will get it one of these tries.

By to mock a mockingbird (@vuelva)

congrats, nice score and shooting!

btw also in a 70k+ situation with the leftmost pig still there (i recognized that one) it is possible to get a (not top but) good score by using the leverage of the glass as described, flinging at just the right height through the pig (not too high as the glass then breaks; not too low as then there’s no leverage).

from your comments i already saw you’re doing well on several of the latest bad piggies levels, but not being visible is a bit illusory as long as you’re playing while connected to game center. anyone can calculate quickly from there and here (ABN) that you should be only 20k behind 5th place overall currently (of course there are some other top players that haven’t yet entered their bad piggies scores either), and also that you should be able to close the gap: your current total bad piggies score can still be improved by 100k (by 50k on the 15 latest levels alone) of which the first 25k should come easily, and the last 25k could be hard work (for me in any case; it would surpass my current score by 15k, but that’s feasible i think), requiring some `luck by stubbornness’ as for the current level. GL!

Funny how quickly you can calculate my score indeed. I have not been paying attention to GC since PUs, and since they don’t keep track of all scores. It has been sort of nice though to not be as visible for a while. Had I put in my scores right away, I’m sure others around me would play more to compete with mu scores.
And yes, there are more points to gain yet. 21-2 for example has been haunting me. Any levels where I’m 8 to 10k behind will get attention first.

@pointdexter5, you are not posting your scores because you don’t want others competing against your score? Where is the fun, and challenge, in that? Suppose we all withheld our scores for weeks for some imagined edge? To go another step, imagine if none of us shared strategies and tips? I don’t think there would be much of a community here at ABN. Just my two cents.

@bonneypattycat, I was having a bit of fun with this, being out of the spotlight for a while. It honestly removes some pressure as your scores are always attacked when you’re in the top 10. Now, don’t get me wrong, I like competition a lot, so I wanted to just see what it was like to sneak in some scores behind the scenes. I guess I could enter them any day now as I’m starting to miss my name up near the top.
I do share comments and strategies however, just have not entered the final 15 of bad piggies. I’m actually reasonably active around here, just wanted to switch things up to see what would happen.

I make screen prints just in case I would get asked, and try to make them in-game, before the leftover birds are added, so it shows the path of the final bird used, as well as the destruction done. I never really am asked for them though. With being in GC and my scores being available there, the admins also have a way to verify me. It would surprise me if I’m questioned however. I only have a small amount of high scores, and am generally ranked in the top 20 of each episode.

With being out of the top 10 now, for a while and on purpose, I’m less visible, and my scores are not chased as actively. Just a different interpretation on the term “attacked”. It’s all good now.

Potential unstable level? If you watch the video, you can see that after the 1st bird, the stones and ice on the right platform start moving. I’ve seen them move as far as the ice being 1/4 off the platform and the stones being just a hair off. If they actually fell this could be great. If you see something more, please report in the forum on self-destroying and unstable levels.
