OK, tried it again today with similar results after about 3 hour: left two circles destroyed, right two intact, 55k. Was able to finish using two birds this time for 113k.

Self collapse on this level seems to have been fixed. I launched the level 44 times and initially saw motion on most of them. However, all 44 times settled down without any collapse.

Here is a live tally screen that shows a higher score than the previous best. I thought I would try to obtain one and it took just one attempt. Well, that’s my final attempt to persuade people that this is a good method.
