Mine and Dine level 17-7 is one of the most difficult levels in the entire Angry Birds app to earn 3 stars. The best strategy is to lob the Boomerang bird over the structure and spin it back through the wooden block on the right side. Ideally, the Boomerang bird should go far enough so as to break the hollow wooden square within. In any event, the whole right side should be cleared with significant damage. Fire a Yellow bird horizontally, through both pieces of wood on the left side. To earn 3 stars, it is important to break the jewel in the trough. Be careful of the encased pig that falls leftward, since he doesn’t always pop. The score in the video below is 125,200.

This is the worst level yet-2 days so far, 2 birded it three time & got the jewel-still only up to 121,970-near impossible.
try try & try again and FINALLY GOT IT! only scored 125340 but who cares…..outta here…..
I finally did it!! That is all I have to say!
This level deserves all the animosity directed at it! For anyone who is still looking for tips and doesn’t want to read through 100+ comments, here’s what worked for me
For the first shot, aim the boomerang bird to just clear the top helmeted pig. After it passes the right side of the structure, reverse when it is about at the same level as the top right horizontal wooden plank. This helps the bird travel nearly horizontally into the narrow vertical wooden support on the right side and can yield scores of around 60k.
For the second shot, aim basically horizontally or a hair above, and accelerate right before hitting the lower left left narrow vertical wooden support.
Or, just fling and pray. ;)
@halliesginsb ty for the time saving of going back 4 pages……ive made the 2 shots perfectly a gazillion times…and still can’t make average!! Please please tell me there is a hidden message in your post..some secret tip something:( please..this is about as close to whining I’ll get before the full force …ooops it slipped out i swear by accident….;) ty for you’re tips:)
@kathy if the whine factor has not helped, here are a couple of suggestions. The boomerang bird needs to barely clear the top helmeted pig, and you need to get at least 50k points on that shot, better if it’s 55-60k.
On the second shot, it helps if the bird stays on the platform after breaking the second board. Debris will still fall to the right to get the crystal, but a lot will also roll off the bird and to the left, including that obnoxious pig in the hollow box.
Last, if it’s just not working for you, get some sleep! You know how to do it and the method will coalesce in your brain while you sleep. GL!
Thanks for reply and tips @halliesginsb :) it’s still alluding me I’ve got up to 125k+ but alas.I’ve made both shots perfectly but i guess not getting the debris needed:( I’ve conquered this 2 times before..a while ago but lost progress and averages driven up..it’s maddening they seem like easy shots but are not..Ive even got the partial collapse several times more of a hindrance than a help..i hate to leave a level under average but i may just move along, finish episode and come back for more torture:(..again ty for help:) stop in the BP sometime , put a drink on my tab:)
This is making NO sense to me at all!!! I had 56k after first shot..then hit second shot perfectly and end up with 10k less points..it’s almost like they’re not counting both leftover birds!!! I got 125k with a worse shot..i don’t get it ¿
